This review is for the owner. You need to have more employees working at this place. Don't be greedy and hire more people! The poor guy that were trying to serve us looked burned out. He was trying to do multiple things at once. He was trying to take orders and money, prepare the orders, take care of the gyro, clean up the place. The owner, you either should stay in your own store and help your employees or hire more people. You won't be rich by not paying a little extra for one more employee. Because of this, you are loosing customers. Because of this, the overall quality of this place is way under 1 star. Also, the beef gyro they serve is the one that you can find in the restaurant Depot which is very fatty and the chicken gyro had little bony things in it.

I lived in Germany for 6 years. This was my favorite food. It was like a dream come true when it came here to Vegas. It was everything I remember from my time in Germany. This is a must try for anyone who wants that authentic German doner kebab again! I'll definitely be back regularly. Please open more of these around Vegas!

WOW! What a pleasant experience! Having lived for over 15 years in Germany...and then coming back to the US where there was virtually no "Döner Kebab Houses" anywhere...and now I finding it right here in Las Vegas. 👍 The Döner was exactly the way I remembered them! The meats were grilled to perfection...still moist but full with those grilled flavors we desire...and the veggies...so fresh and crisp! And that luscious creamy garlic sauce to top it all off...I can only say it is a Master Piece for both grilled meat lovers & those wanting something more than just a salad! The Döner here has it all! If you stop by...mention that you heard it from me...and hopefully they will treat you right like they did me😉😎

While doing the Fremont Experience, we came across this place at the end. It’s halal and totally worth your money. The lamb/beef was so soft and went really well with the fried rice. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area

Prices are fine. Döner plate was really delicious. The portions were big. Definitely recommended.

Delicious kebab and the chili sauce is the bomb. It's crowded and not the most amazing place to dine but perfect to get your authentic Doner Kebab on.

I spent 4 years in Germany during the late 80's when I was in the Army and the Berlin Wall was still standing . After a late night of drinking , Turkish / German Street Food was the way to go . Döners would hit the spot . Most of us would get them in the giant pita , but you can get on rice or fries in some places . Most people like the Lamb-Beef combination , but I like the Chicken better myself . This place is located inside the Neonopolis by Fremont Street Experience . It is located in the Food Court . I got the Chicken Döner Platter on Rice with Pepper Sauce and Garlic Sauce . Also some lettuce and tomatoes . You can get cucumbers and other stuff too if you wish . They also have Ranch and another sauce . The chicken was really good , but the rice was just plain white rice . The Pepper Sauce had a good kick and I'm glad I got the Garlic Sauce to mix with it . I also got a Canada Dry Ginger Ale to go with it . Total with tax was $14.00 It is a lot of food and I almost finished it and I was starving . I have to say that unfortunately Wolf Down Döner was better and closer to where I live on Spring Mountain , but it closed a few months ago . I didn't even know it was there till I saw on Facebook it was closing and went there 2 days before it closed . I would have went there once a week if I would have known about it , but they didn't do any advertising . Anyway , I would recommend coming here , but I rarely go downtown , so I don't see myself coming back anytime soon . But if you are downtown and want a full belly , check them out . They even sell ice cream . I was too full to get any though .

Wonderful place for a quick, inexpensive no frills meal just off the main Freemont drag. While we visited for Kebabs and gyros, this food court style joint (much like a mall) offers a variety of cuisine for every taste. From gyros to pizza. My husband got a slice of pizza for dessert. Ha.

Excellent food. Decent service. Really cheap for Vegas. Reminds me how good the dönner is in Germany. Didn’t give us a free refill on soda, that’s my only complaint.

We ate China Max. The meal for 2 adults was priced fairly for being Vegas! I have to say..the food was absolutely amazing!! Great Chinese food!! The actual store was like a hole in the wall but dang if the food isn't banging! Visiting from Texas!

As a young Soldier, I was stationed in Germany and after the bar each Thursday, we would walk down the hill to the doner kebab stand. This place reminds me of my youth. The food is fresh, authentic, and a perfect hangover cure and or prevention. Do yourself a favor and grab one before leaving freemont street! You will not regret the decision!

They have the best, freshest, add your own toppings gyros ever! Fresh beef and lamb carved fresh off the heated skewer, melt-in-your-mouth meat! If you prefer they have chicken as well. Besides gyros, they have kabobs, (as their name suggests) on and off the stick. I'll have to try another dish next time, but want to go again for the gyros for sure!!!

So good, ate at one of these places to my delight first in Germany and this one is just as good as that one was. Great alternative to the typical Diner/fast food/ franchise chain vibe that dominates the area otherwise. Fast and friendly too, will probably be back for lunch tomorrow.

I'm glad Vegas has a good (German) Döner Kebab place. I recommend getting the meal with garlic sauce and chili sauce for some spice. Hit the spot. As someone who had a lot of German Döner Kebab Sandwiches, I feel like it's as close as it gets in the States.

This is as close to a Doner Kebab 🥙 I’ve had since I was in Germany 🇩🇪! The bread needs some work, but it was great!! The lamb 🐑 mix tasted authentic, with the combination of the pickled onions and garlic sauce is something you could eat everyday!

Update: came a second time and it was just as good maybe even better. Such a hidden gem but worth the find. Food was amazing and service was impeccable. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Prices were outstanding for what you get on the strip. Will visit again. Thank you so much.

What can I say? Beggars can't be choosers. At 2am, they are open and even has a kid at the cash register. He did a great job and seemed like a great kid. Though 1am seems a little late for him to be working. Foodwise, it was just okay. I ate here while drunk once and don't remember but had an overall good impression. Eating here sober is another story. Too salty and the meat was very dry, the veggies didn't seem very fresh. Not the best kebab but it is 1am in downtown Vegas and this is the best option when you want something fast and easy to go. I'll take it.

A very good kebab, fries and can of Coke for $13.75 (inc.tax) makes this one bargain meal Downtown. The chilli sauce is on the hot side (you've been warned!), the meat was good and the fries nice and crispy. Hidden slightly inside a mini food court opposite Walgreens look for the doors underneath a big "Fat Tuesdays" sign; you won't be sorry!

Absolutely love this place! Price is a little high but the food is amazing! The guy who works there seems mean or rude but once you get him chatting he is friendly and funny. Would recommend anyone to check them out. Worth it. Promise!

This is my third five star review for this place. Every time we come to the “V” we make our way to Döner Kebab Express and every time it’s five stars out the door. Excellent döner. Still reminds me of when I was in Germany partying until the morning. If you know, you know. Döner still the best in town.

I love this place and brought my family from out of state to try this place out bc it's my go to spot every single time I'm in town. We came all the way here and it's closed. Are you kidding me?! It's Wednesday afternoon and it's completely closed you guys could of at least update the hours or something. Google says it's open but we get there and the place is closed. What gives?

I got the beef doner wrap with garlic sauce and feta and it was huge and delicious. Came with well salted fries and a soda. Couldn’t finish it in one sitting. The woman working today was very kind. So glad I stopped by here.

It's a really, really bad experience. We never had such a bad Döner. It's pricey for that what it is, very small, no fresh ingredients. Never go back there, wish Wolf down would be back.

  • 2/5 Seth M. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely terrible. They gave me raw chicken on my Döner Kebap and I am so freaking sick right now because of it. Absolute amateurs. Service took way too long, and the meat was clearly awful even when it was cooked properly.

Döner Kebab Express - A Promising Mediterranean Option Döner Kebab Express offers a convenient option for Mediterranean food enthusiasts seeking a quick bite at the food court. While there are areas for improvement, this establishment shows potential in delivering healthier meal choices compared to its counterparts. Upon ordering, I opted for the Gyro and fries combo, accompanied by a small bottle of water. While the gyro had a flavorful taste, I found the sauce to be excessive, overpowering the overall balance of the dish. Similarly, the fries were disappointingly oversalted, compromising their potential to be a satisfying accompaniment. The portion size of the water could also be improved, as it felt rather small and left me wanting more hydration. Additionally, communication with the staff member at the register was challenging, as their speech was difficult to comprehend, leading to some confusion during the ordering process. However, it is worth noting that Döner Kebab Express presents an opportunity to indulge in Mediterranean cuisine within the food court setting. In comparison to many other options available, the food offered here tends to be healthier and more nourishing, featuring flavors and ingredients commonly associated with Mediterranean cuisine. While my personal experience had its flaws, I believe there is room for Döner Kebab Express to enhance its offerings and overall execution. With some adjustments to the sauce-to-meat ratio in the gyro, a moderation of salt on the fries, and an expansion in the size of the water bottles, the overall dining experience could be significantly improved. As a fan of Mediterranean food, I sincerely hope that Döner Kebab Express takes these constructive criticisms to heart and strives to deliver a more refined and satisfying dining experience. With attention to detail and a commitment to balancing flavors, this establishment has the potential to become a go-to destination for those seeking a healthier alternative at the food court.

Hadn't had a doner kebab since 2006 when I was in Australia. Was used to what they offer as a wrap so the bun was what I wanted to try and i really liked it. Don't skip the pickled cabbage, feta cheese and garlic sauce! Those plus lettuce and onion are a more traditional combination. The fries are very good as well! If I ever visit Fremont Street again, I will be returning for another doner kebab!
