We went twice while in Vegas. I highly recommend the facility on east sunset! Very friendly staff, maintained karts, and a clean facility! Track crew was top notch and even got out on the track with us for some friendly competition and smack talk! 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be back next time we are in Vegas!

Stopped in during our trip because the husband loves all things cars. He had a great time…the staff was great as well. Stop in if you’re in the area. They let kids 12&up drive too as long as they are 54 inches tall!

Great little Go Karting center. Track basically had no straights, so took me a couple of laps to work out where the overtaking opportunities were. But the four of us had great fun. Wasn't very busy on the Tuesday evening we went. Just walk up, no booking but we didn't have to wait longer than the short safety video. Not allowed to wear open toed shoes. Helmets provided, gloves are optional. $25 for an 8 minute race, per person. We did 2 races with a short break between and that was plenty for me. Definitely recommend doing.

It was a nice experience. The customer service was good especially the guys who deal with actual racing. You get to do quite a number of laps around the track unlike other places I've been and they gave complimentary bottled water.

Awesome experience. First time on go karts and it will not be the last. The track gave comfort and challenge for drivers of all driving skill levels. The driving controls are simple to pick up and you get into the groove. The race is fast paced but it doesn’t go by too quickly. The staff here are very kind and informative. We saw all of the gear being sanitized. Good safe fun for the entire family and your friends

Got a Groupon deal for this place so we took the kids and let them race. It was their first time so they were a little apprehensive but they all said it was a blast and that they would definitely would do it again. There is a height limit so check that before arriving.

This place kicks a! I would go back every day if I could. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Had so much fun there. Carts actually have some power so you can really feel like you’re racing. Not those wimpy watered don carts or super slushy electric carts. Definitely going back

We had a blast. We had a group of 9 people, and we raced four times each. My only complaint was that one of my daughter's go-carts had problems. We noticed an attendant twice, and they did nothing. So each time she races she came in last. We were distraught at their lack of helping us have a good experience.

I’ve been coming here for years, and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly, makes you feel welcomed, & they have everything you need in case you didn’t come prepared. Although the race goes by fast, very worth while. They also have an arcade you can play in if you wanted to stay longer. Always recommend.

Stopped here to ride a few carts on a hot summer day. The carts were pretty fast. These a gas carts on an outside track. The speeds are pretty high, it wore me out after a few laps. Had a great time at Gene Woods!

Interesting, technical track without straights, but it has banking and elevation change. I came from out of town on a cold day, and it presented an interesting challenge with tire warm up. The Strip and airport are clearly visible which makes for an interesting backdrop. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. For an amateur, you will definitely have fun. For an experienced driver, I think you'd find the elevation change and polished surface interesting and different. P.S. - New drivers are speed restricted until you can prove you are skilled enough for full power. For me, they removed the restriction after one session.

I happened to be passing through Vegas at the beginning of the month and stopped into his outdoor track just to use the ATM machine one afternoon. Gene happened to be there that day and was up at the counter working. We started chatting a bit and he noticed a hat I was wearing and learned that I was a fellow racer of cars, trucks, and bike's. It being early in the afternoon on a Tuesday it was slow and I had some time to kill so Gene invited me to take some laps and check out the track. I never pass up an opportunity to drive and race so I quickly sat down watched the safety video signed the liability release grabbed a helmet and jumped into one of the well maintained cart's. I don't know about you but I absolutely love a gas engine and Gene's one of the last remaining tracks still using gas carts. Electric carts tend to be on or off with the throttle where a gas cart rewards good driving technique and line selection to maintain speed. If you slide and skid through the turns you will be slow. The carts are fast but don't have the power to pull you out of a turn if you skid and lose speed. I really like the track at Gene Wood's Racing Experience. There's a good mix of turns, a couple of sections you can really gain some speed, and some elevation change which is rare to see at a cart track. I would highly recommend spending some time racing your friend's or just having fun.

This place is fun!!! The whole family was able to have a friendly competition. My 10 year old son especially enjoyed himself. He keeps asking to go back and with the prices being so reasonable I can make that happen. Thank you to the staff for being patient with me. Lol I took off with my heavy foot and crashed as soon as we started. I can tell there was a little frustration having to break it up but the staff remained polite at all times. Thank you again. We had fun. No complaints. Staff was very friendly. Karts were fast and we had no issues. Went on a Saturday afternoon and got right in. Your given a sleeve to wear under the helmet and a neck brace. Cubbies to put ur belongings while you race. Would definitely return. Our race consisted of our party of 4 and another party of 2.

Great place just outside the strip, the Duece let's you off about a block away and it's totally in walking distance. Pretty straightforward, if you have sandals or open toe shoes, they even have tennis shoes there for you. Great staff, would recommend for younger ones that fit the requirement as well as adults of all ages. Its a must try.

This was a really great and fun experience for the family. We all really enjoyed it and was lucky to have the track to ourselves. I think midweek in the evening is the best time to go. No crowds and it was cool in the evening. The staff that was manning the tracks were freaking awesome! So nice and friendly and funny. My 16 yr and 10 yr said they were really cool and made the experience even better!

When my 12-year old and I walked in, we were met with Vincent's warm and friendly smile. My stepdaughter was a bit shy at first, but Vincent was patient and made her feel comfortable and safe about racing around the track. He even gave her a motivational speech that made her eyes sparkle with excitement! Stephen and Jonavan (I hope I got their names right!) were just as sweet and kind. They were generous enough to give us a discount for my daughter's upcoming birthday, which is still a few months away, and even allowed us to have extra laps around the track. We had such a fantastic time, and I'm already looking forward to bringing the rest of my family for another visit! Thanks guys!

What a great place! The staff is amazing. The karts are fast AF! No BS here. No glitz and glamor. Straight up realness. Looking for that off-strip family fun, I’d recommend going here. I took my 10 yr old son. He had a blast! Old-school arcade games only added to the authenticity. I somehow misplaced my credit card there. The staff had it waiting on me when I returned.
