The most unorganized, ineffective hospital ever. I'm literally here in the hospital now and have been for 5 days for a pinched nerve. Other then 3 great nurses I have had Jennifer, Jesus and Bailey this place is a cluster mess. Can't get food ordered right (although the food is good) no matter how many times to tell them. They have messed up the medication so many times it's embarrassing. Random doctors who come in speak to me for 20 minutes change medications and then another doctor or nurse will go back to what it was or what they want. They will say 1 thing then do another. Seriously it's a cluster f&@k of a hospital. Stay away if possible.

Just a wonderful experience, the surgery preparation, operating room(when I was still awake) and the post op teams were all consummate professionals. The surgery prep nurses could tell I was a little nervous, and patiently worked with me to help take my mind off of the process. I would like to commend all for the people who took care of me personally, but I don't remember all of their names. However, Stephanie in recovery was especially helpful and laughed at my "Dad" jokes.

honestly, the very first time i went it was phenomenal. super friendly, paid attention to my case, and just a great experience. THIS PAST VISIT FELT LIKE I WAS TRAPPED IN A HORROR FILM! Lets start with i have symptomatic crohns. meaning I do not have crohns, but I have all of the symptoms, have to take the same meds, and follow same diet. this was found by my g.i doctor after numerous fecal test, and colonoscopy. with that, my surgeon TOLD THEM, im having a flare up from that, and to keep me comfortable and hydrated until it passes. well they didn't listen. i was denied ALL of my medication for almost 2 full days. they gave me medications I did not need, and have me stop ANTIBIOTICS when I wasn't finished. the worst was charge nurse KRISHNA on med surge floor. she tells me to hurry up because im taking too long to get back into my bed instead of helping. second day, I needed a new iv. I told her I have very small veins, and im not an easy stick. she was very sure of herself and said she can do it. she was so sure because she had a vein finder (which does not always help). as she goes in I start screaming because she has already done something wrong. She yells, "why are you screaming?", making faces signaling how "dramatic" i was being. Since this was the 3rd time someone was digging around in my veins I told her, "if you can't do it, I need you to find someone who can, and stop". apparently her feelings were hurt because she takes it out, throws her stuff on the floor, and walks out. the nurse under her visibly looked shocked. I was then left, AGAIN, having a panic attack for a good 3 hours before anyone came to check on me. I have so many bruises and marks where they stabbed through veins, and just showed absolute negligence. I was so uncomfortable and scared. I've been in and out of hospitals for over 10 years dealing with my issues. this was 100% uncalled for. I won't be going back, and neither will any of the people I have shared my experience with. unfortunately, some already have horror stories of their own here.

I was transported here from blue diamond ER and had a great experience. The nursing staff did a great job of keeping me informed throughout my stay and as comfortable as possible. Surgery was uncomplicated and I'm back home now recovering. Overall great experience with all the staff and surgical team.

The entire staff took very good care of me. I am extremely happy with the service I received. The procedure was a success. Thank you to all the staff that assisted me through this whole experience. I highly recommend Spring Valley Hospital and ER Blue Diamond who provide excellent care.

All the staff were wonderful. Very kind, courteous, and caring. I'm a retired nurse and all the staff were respectful of that. The nuclear med nurse Chris was great. Both the nuclear nurse and tech were very informative and answered all my questions. I had worried all week about this test They made me feel at ease and before I knew it the test was done. Thank you guys for your wonderful care. S Black Licensed Practical Nurse (retired)

I recently had the joyous experience of delivering my FIFTH baby at The Birthplace at Spring Valley Hospital, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The care and attention provided by the entire staff were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, comforted, and in expert hands. My labor and delivery nurses Corey and Yvette truly made me feel like I was their top priority the entire time I was in their care! Both charge nurses on each shift made it a point to check on me and make sure I was comfortable as well. The facilities were immaculate, the medical team was incredibly knowledgeable, and the personalized care I received made me feel safe and empowered throughout the birthing process. My labor was moving pretty quickly and I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to get an epidural but the team made sure to put the orders in quickly to ensure that didn’t happen. Every member of the staff, from nurses to doctors, displayed genuine compassion, professionalism, and expertise. At one point even the manager Jenny came to check on me and congratulate my husband and I. She also took the time to answer a few questions my husband had about different labor side effects I was experiencing such as the mild shaking and nausea. The Birthplace at Spring Valley Hospital made the birth of my child an unforgettable, positive experience. I am immensely grateful for their exceptional care and would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone looking for an outstanding birthing experience. Five stars without a doubt!

Checked in the ER at 1:52pm… currently waiting in the back for a nurse or doctor or ANYONE to tell me something. I did a ct scan and a vision test and no one has communicated anything to me about what’s wrong or what’s going on. It’s 8:09pm. This is ridiculous. I do not recommend this hospital. UPDATE: it’s 9:08pm and someone came by 15 mins ago saying “we’re gonna test your eyes and get you out of here”…. Why am I still waiting?! 7+ hours no water, no food, no meds for my headache. I feel like they do not care about their patients. No one is really communicating with me, very frustrating.

My experience was amazing. The nurses were all so kind and very helpful throughout my whole time there. Always there to lend a hand and be there when I needed them. Special thanks to the nurses Brandy, Sabrina, Johana, Alice, Debbie, Lori, and Esther for being there for me. I will never forget the amount of kindness you showed me! 🩷🩷 thank you for helping me bring in and take care of my little girl!

I had my baby here and it was really great the nurses were all awesome and helpful. Ended up in the ER via ambulance two weeks later, let me just tell you this hospital is amazing. The staff were all so kind and my nurse NICHOLAS WATTS was AMAZING he was so upbeat and pleasant, well spoken, and just an all around joy. Being in the ER in pain having such a fantastic nurse made such a difference. I wish I could thank him. Grant was amazing as well! Very professional and great at what they do. Every person we encountered were really great and kind. This is the only hospital I will go to.

I have never felt so well taken care of! I was there for surgery and had 2 of the best nurses ever (Jan & Chrissy I will never forget your kindness!) After the surgery, Stephanie's voice was the first I heard and it was such a peaceful voice. It gave me great comfort to hear it and find out all went well. All very wonderful nurses and the hospital as a whole, has never let me down.

What a nice experience to have such dedicated and caring medical professionals. Our trip to Las Vegas ended on the day we were to fly home with my husband being admitted with Covid. As we were already checked out of our hotel I was provided with a comfortable place to sleep in my husbands room. The nurses and aides were so very kind and professional, I can’t say enough of how we appreciated all their care. Thank you so much!

My experience was amazing at Spring Valley Hospital. The hospital was very clean and well run. All the doctors and surgeons were very helpful and willing to explain everything to me to make me comfortable, complete professionals. The nurses were very kind, helpful and professional as well. Even the food was good! Which we all know is not the norm at hospitals. I can’t thank the whole staff enough for getting me thru a hard time in a comfortable way. I appreciate each one to the fullest!

My visit was for an out patient heart procedure. I was promptly welcomed and began the preparation regimen. Without exception, every professional I dealt with was courteous as they explained what to expect next. My procedure was over faster than I expected and I was brought to the recovery area. Once there, a very capable nurse took over my care. For the next three hours, she monitored me very closely until I was cleared to go home. I would not hesitate to use spring valley hospital for any of my medical needs.

We had a new born delivered at the Birthplace. Excellent care, staff, and service. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and transparent. They took great care of my wife afterwards. The nurses and doctors have been so transparent and we don’t have to dig for information unlike other hospitals I have experienced. I don’t know what kind of training or hiring or management that trains the staff but it’s working very well. The food is great as well! I will definitely come here again for the next baby and recommend the birthplace to friends and family. 5 star level service.

Spring valley hospital experience was top notch. As I entered the foyer the atmosphere felt very calming. Registration was easy and it went fast. The staff were very attentive and down to earth, never felt left out or unnoticed. Each one of the surgical team introduced themselves and informed me of everything they were going to do. Surgery was like a well oiled machine, prompt and on time, and when I left the nurse even had time to write a “Speedy recovery” note with a smiley face on my discharge papers. A simple little face made me smile. 💞 👍🏼

Every person I interacted with was so nice. There was only one person at the check in desk at 5:30am when I was checking in and she apologized for the wait and I didn't think it was much of a wait considering. My first nurse was so sweet and the nurse who took me to the outpatient surgery was nice. Both my dr and the anesthesiologist explained what was going to happen. This was my first procedure and everyone made it a great experience. Even the nurse who took care of me after was nice. It seems nuts but it was actually and enjoyable experience.

This was not a planned visit going to the hospital! However it was one of the most comfortable hospitals I have ever been in. The Staff was so accommodating with their patient care making sure I was comfortable answering questions that I needed answers to the room in which I was assigned was clean and warm not like your usual cold hospital room it was warm and very pleasant to relax while you awaited test results taking the edge off waiting. The Doctors were on point too visiting and informing you of the treatment plans ordered. I recommend this hospital to anyone who dealing with the need to be hospitalized they truly treat with Love and Caring in your time of need when trusting your life in the hands of perfect strangers for your medical needs .

No one wants to visit the ER but I have to say I don't think my experience could have been any better, all things considered. In particular, I was greeted and treated so well by Colin. What an awesome person to have in this position. Everyone was very kind and even though they were SUPER busy, they worked quickly and efficiently. One nurse in particular, Whitney, was so pleasant and personable. The nurse who did my IV was very skilled. There was an intern (I think) who's name I didn't get that brought me crackers which I really appreciated! I hope I never return but grateful they were all there for me.

Spring Valley is the bomb. The staff is very nice and treat you like a person not a pay check. They will get to the root of your problem before discharging you. Unlike the hospital on Maryland parkway! Thank you Spring Valley. You guys are a blessing to the community.

I live in Pahrump and as soon as I arrived I was taken to a room to be put on their oxygen so my friend could take my portable tank. I was made comfortable before and during the procedure. The nurses were reassuring and answered my questions. The care I received was excellent. The doctors listened to me during the procedure and made me comfortable under the circumstances. I have one more and now I know what to expect, I'm anxious to get it done.

ICU: Kenny Davis was wonderful. He went above & beyond what the other nurses did. He pays attention to detail. All the nurses were great! 4th Floor: All the nurses were wonderful but Sam stuck out. She is very friendly and always laughing. Wonderful personality. She’s a keeper. Spring Valley is lucky to have her. Good luck with her baby son due next month. The only issue I had was I was supposed to get a picc line and it never happened. Then I was supposed to get a midline and it never happened. My arms look like someone took a bat to them. This happens every time. Wanted to say that the doctors were also wonderful.

I was battling COVID with pneumonia for almost 2 wks. I had a difficult journey. I was just discharged from the hospital on Nov. 2nd. The wonderful medical team at Spring Valley took care of me in ways that I can never imagined! The care, love and support I received starting from the cleaners who sanitized my room every single day, the kitchen/dietary staff who lovingly calls me every single day to ask what food I want to eat (I forgot the name of the gentleman but I lovingly call him my Kuya), the CNAs (Jasmine, Art, Mark, Thelma, Brian, Cyril) who religiously took my vitals and deliver my meals on the spot, the RNs (Josh, Shelby, Jill, Armen, Tina, Anika, Rianne, Alma, Emeddie, Diana, Gianna, Lyndsey and Chris) who monitors my medications round the clock and always checks up on me if I needed anything or am I uncomfortable, the different staff who drew my blood every morning with care and of course, my amazing Doctors - Dr. Jennifer Reed, Dr. Chriscile De Asis, Dr Vince (Vinny) I believe he’s the assistant of Dr. Zaheer who visited me regularly to give me hope and positivity because I was very miserable. I owe my life to these wonderful people! They were truly my “angels on earth” and they are a blessing to me! I’m still weak and trying to recuperate at home. I’m on oxygen 24/7 since COVID did mess up my lungs due to pneumonia but I thank God every day for keeping me alive!!!

The hospital is clean. The staff were courteous from the greeters at the entrance to the transporter. All the staff were knowledgeable and organized . Waiting period was short . I felt safe with the care I received. Special thanks to Corina in the admitting , I can’t remember my preadmitting nurse who drew my blood and I didn’t even feel it,Rena in Preop who was thorough with the admission papers and also a good IV sticker . She kept me warm and comfortable while waiting for my surgery and frequently checking on me. Zorayda and the OR crew and Kim my recovery room Nurse.

I had to go there for an infected thumb and from start to end the entire staff was so professional and nice! You could see in their eyes how much they truly cared for their patient! The Nurses, CNAs, Wound Specialist, Surgeon, Doctor and really all the staff were just great! I am not a fan of hospitals in general and was very scared to go to one. This hospital's staff made me feel at ease! Hopefully I'll never have to go back but if I did my hospital of choice would definitely be Spring Valley! Thanks again for your professionalism and expertise!!

I was here for 24 hours in the ER and observation dept. The check-in process was easy and not a nightmare like I’d imagine for an ER. The nurse at the ER (Angelica) was extremely friendly and comforting. However there were many patients and little staff. She still remained calm and nice. Dr. Rosenberg is great! I felt like he really cared about my health and well-being and talked me out of refusing medical advice and staying overnight to do more tests and make sure I didn’t faint. I wish he could be my primary Physician. He has excellent bedside manner and followed up with me the next morning to see how I was doing. I definitely recommend Spring Valley and have already changed my primary doctor to this hospital! The other rotating nurses (Elizabeth, Fanny, Jane, Terrance, Brett, Tyler the PT) are very caring and knowledgeable. I don’t know how these nurses and doctors maintain their sanity with all of the challenges! The food wasn’t great but that doesn’t matter when you’re ill. Overall 4 stars!

My family and I were visiting Vegas when my dad had a serious medical event happen. Honestly I think it was our good fortune that we were here and not back home. He received excellent care from the ER to the ICU to the IMU to discharge. All of the nurses/doctors/staff were friendly and attentive. Also they were nice to each other and seemed happy to be there which is not always the case in hospitals. So grateful for the care my dad received. Thank you all!

I have been to their ER twice in a row due to dehydration.. their staff is truly so swift and caring despite the rushes they face and chaos between each individual patients concerns. wonderful people who pay extreme attention to detail and give everyone their own personalized care to their visit with same respect and kindness as all. My nurse I had day one Daniel was also a very nice sight to see in my time of need.. talk about some hot stuff. Truly recommend this hospital for their performance as medical care goes and appearance of all on staff. seriously everyone is so pretty to look at but especially daniel.

Amazing group of people working here! I was very impressed with everyone’s attitude, politeness and general sense of caring. It was a circus of patients that were all being very difficult to the staff and the staff handled them all with a smile and did everything they could for every person that was there. There is even a free phone for anyone to use! Very impressed I was taken care of in what I thought was a very timely manner. They even called my doctor and he was able to come down to the hospital and check me over. This was my first trip to the ER since moving to Vegas 6 years ago. Happy to have a nice ER within a few miles of my house!

This hospital was very supportive and incredibly professional. I had many nurses and had not one bad interaction over the 5 days that I was staying there. They kept my spirits high and were very thoughtful of the late hours. Very caring and knowledgeable at the same time. All of the surgeons and doctors were incredible as well. I would recommend anyone in need of a procedure to go here and I can assure that you will be handled with care.

This definitely was not a planned visit for my sister. Although we don’t like staying in hospitals, all of the staff were really nice and always checked on us no matter the hour or how many times we called. They made us feel like family! Hopefully no one has to stay here but if you do, you’ll be taken care of! Shoutout to our nurses Danielle, Michelle, Shannon, and every other nurse on our floor!! ((I gave 5 stars to this hospital because I don’t think it’s fair for one department to bring down everyone else.)) But the ER staff… my sister has a condition that affects her heart/kidneys. We waited in the waiting room for over 3 hours- they did not note down anything about her condition, what medicines she’s supposed to take, her allergies, etc. We kept reminding them about what happens if her condition acts up but they ignored us until we started making a fuss about it. By then- it was already life threatening and had to be admitted. Not sure if it was because we were young but If you go to this ER make sure you be a “Karen” so they listen to you.

Nursing staff is a joy to experience. The food was actually delicious! I would not hesitate to have any future medical care requirements at Spring Valley Hospital.

Great service, but they treated me like a kid. Could not talk to other patients. Asked for water 💦 constantly and was refused. They also took my 🍾 bottle of Jack Daniels away and did not give it back. I do appreciate the lovely 😍 lady at the end making sure I had everything and she also provided me a ride at the end via Lyft which was really convenient as I would have been stranded.

Everyone could not have been nicer and more professional. From the time I checked in around 2 PM on August 17, 2023 to the time I walked out the front main entrance around 2 PM on August 18, 2023, I got top shelf service. My ear process took about 6 1/2 hours which, let’s face it, it’s a process and everything takes time. However they tried to get my EKG and my doctor consult and my blood draw done within a couple of hours. The CT scan took a little while but those folks always get backed up I understand. I spoke with the ER doctors attending physician around 730 pm and she was just as helpful as he was all day and let me know some things that I didn’t know and that there was a room ready for me as I was getting checked in for overnight or more if needed. My doctors were Dr. Yuan and Dr. Park. Getting on - boarded in my room, 4024, Brandon, Jonas, Gwen all took very good care of me. On Friday I said farewell to Jonas as he was off shift however Stephanie and Lynette took great care of me and even served me lunch before I left. I cannot say enough good things about Spring Valley Hospital, thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Keep up the good work!

My experience with the ER was very disappointing. This is the complete opposite of my experience with ERs in Minnesota. While I really appreciate the care I received when it was actually occurring, the entire process around it was awful. I understand that these places are extremely understaffed, and it’s not necessarily on the staff. So to be fair, everyone I interacted with was very friendly and I’d give the friendliness of 99% of the staff 5 stars. Outside of that, there is almost ZERO communication to the patient but also between staff. Every time someone new came in I had to start from the ground up with my conditions, medical history, medications etc. Over the 14+ hours I was there, I’d only be checked on once every 90-120 minutes at most. Nobody comes to check your blood pressure cuff or EKG leads are still on. Nobody communicates what your next procedure is, or how long you’ll be staying unless you hit the call button and ask them repeatedly, and you’re still given a vague answer. I frequently heard people asking for food, saying they haven’t eaten since yesterday. I thought they were exaggerating until I experienced the same thing. Why does nobody care? People are saying they’re diabetic and need to eat, and they still aren’t getting food without literally begging. That’s just crazy to me. I was told I was getting a meal at 3, never happened. Told 5:30, never happened. I was told someone would follow up with test results in 1-1.5 hours. Never happened. 4 hours later I’m told they’re gone and I need to spend the night to get results. Still no room assigned. This whole situation was disorganized and made me feel that I wasn’t cared about, or they were unable to provide proper care. Again, I want to point out that a lot of the staff seemed to be working really hard, and doing the best they could, but some things are unacceptable. I would not feel comfortable sending people here as it seems they are stretched too thin to provide proper care. I’d genuinely be concerned for their safety.

I had the best possible care given to me at your hospital. The staff was outstanding from the emergency from the ER to the ICU. While while my time was longer than I thought I did have I did have a positive stay at your hospital. I cannot think the staff the nurses and everyone involved it was so much nicer then the TV shows I can only say thank you all for the care given to me. Got me in and out in no time. I was seen promptly and I didn't have to wait long at all for multiple tests to be run. Every polite and professional. And the facilities were clean. I was pleased with my decision to head there for emergency services. I felt very confident once things got going that I was in good hands and everything was going to be okay. And they found out exactly what was causing my pain and discomfort, so that was even more a relief to have definitive answers. Highly recommend this hospital.

I went in for surgery and the medical team was phenomenal! Support staff were friendly and helped me know where to go while I waited for my pre-op nurse Jennifer to take me back to get ready for surgery. Jennifer was so personable and helped me feel so at ease in my stressful time. Dr. Puhn, my anesthesiologist, was so perky and informative as she explained her part of my procedure. Her 3rd year med student, Nathan, was very professional and helpful. Nicole, my OR nurse, was another great help in keeping me calm as we wheeled into the OR. Dr. Foulk did a wonderful job on the surgery and was able to take care of everything that needed taking care of. Overall, my experience was awesome! A confident and professional team took care of me, and I could feel it which helped calm my nerves immensely. Bravo team!

They answered all my questions explained what the problem and processes would be. I never felt alone or forgotten they were continually checking on me and updating me. A fantastic group of men and women who truly have a passion for what they do and a desire to diagnose and ensure a fast recovery. Strongly recommend SVH!

Spring Valley Hospital 🏥🏥 🏥🏥 is the second 🥈🥈🥈🥈 best hospital 🏥🏥🏥🏥 that I have been to to have surgery at and they have some of the best and most caring doctor's and staff⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️ and they also have some of the best customer service skills that I have seen in a hospital 🏥🏥🏥🏥 and they also have the most caring physical therapist's that I have ever seen that care so much about their patients and to me I would go there for any of my surgery procedures to get done.........

Never ever go to this emergency room. This was the 2nd time I have been there and they are horrible. They throw you in a waiting room to sit for over an hour or more. Then they say we can’t give you a prescription which is not at all what I wanted or asked for. They then give me a pill and say here take this pain pill and here’s your paperwork goodbye. Don’t tell me what pain pill they gave me but make me take it in front of them and see ya later. I had no transportation in very cold weather. Tried to walk home and got disoriented so had to contact Uber from a street corner. $10 for that and I get home and completely black out. They didn’t even put in my paperwork what they gave me. I was out for 24 hours. I missed calling out for work. I lost my grandmothers diamond engagement ring that I had to pick up or pay on that day and somehow I had started a hot bath and then fell asleep flooding the bathroom with a foot of water that seeped into the carpet outside the bathroom. To top it off they didn’t help me with my restless leg syndrome which is what I went there for in the first place. They gave me follow up paperwork that had nothing about what pill they gave me and would it interact with the medicine I already was taking. Paperwork that didn’t help with my inability to sleep. And as a side note their vending machines just took my money without me getting what I had chosen. Never ever go there. My earlier visit was even worse. Sitting for hours and hours without any resolution just to be safe that you didn’t have a heart attack. I knew I didn’t have a heart attack. I had one before. But what if I leave I might claim them liable for something? Well now they are liable. I had a stroke just before the city shut down and thank heaven I went to Southern Hills. They were wonderful people. Very friendly and concerned and very efficient. Certainly didn’t treat me like I had some kind of mental problem.

Labor and delivery is the best! Had my baby 3 weeks ago. After my baby was born she was taking to the NICU and every nurse who was taking care of me made sure to go check on my baby and bringing me pictures of her so I was able to see her. I have always had the best experience in this hospital.I had all 4 of my kids here. I had my first born 14 years ago and now I just had my 4th and last baby.

Honestly after my husbands last visit watching people fall on the floor as the nurses are watching TV is a disgrace. Patients dying and no human decency to cover their faces may they Rest In Peace. A total disregard of human life!! Complete lack of concern for their patients! Nurses are rude! Several people got their IV’s disconnected and walked out. Pandemic or not every patient should matter!!!!!!

My mother was taken to the ER 5 Jan 21 and then admitted later that night. While she was still in the ER, I dropped off some of her personal affects and was assured that she'd get them right away, via security. I gave the lady at the ER vestibule a complete inventory of her items in the bag and she stapled the note to said bag. Still, today, she has not received her belongings and the hospital staff is absolutely no help in this matter. I was transferred all over the place only to have security themselves tell me that they don't deliver to patients. So who does?? You make it impossible to visit our loved ones so you need to be held responsible for this. Your charge nurse in the ER was no help and rude and left me on hold for almost half an hour. I expect a response from the hospital in regards to where the belongings are, why your staff is so unhelpful and why a simple task such a s this wasn't carried out properly.

My dad was treated at this hospital on 3 separate floors. All his family lives very far away and we never got updates from a Medical Doctor even after we called many many times begging for a MD to return our call. My dad died under the care of this facility and it was a VERY awful experience. We were told the doctors were to busy and they never returned our call. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this facility. The workers here are so rude, the hospital is so unorganized, they don’t have any policy and procedures and they truly don’t CARE about their patients.

Id LOVE nothing more to put five stars but one nurse RUINED that. I wont put her name but a little back story i had to be transferred for pahrump to Las Vegas for eptopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the Fallopian tube), i was scared out of my mind and asking a lot of questions. Specifically about my ultrasound. She informed me that ultrasound would be down in a few minutes (roughly 10 minutes) ok no problem. 2 hours go by no ultrasound so i ask her if ultrasound was coming because id been experiancing extreme level 10 pain, was crying, and had informed her of this multiple times. This woman had the audacity to tell me that i needed being a baby and i needed to deal with the pain. i then looked at another nure who was such a sweet heart and offered to go get me pain meds before my ultrasound. sadly those didnt come because ultrasound had came and wheeled me to where i needed to go. other than that it was great.

This hospital is simply phenomenal. I went in because I have chronic migraines, and I was having one that just wouldn't budge regardless of how much medicine I took. Instead of blowing it off as just another headache, this hospital took my concerns very seriously and made sure to do thorough testing with me to make sure nothing was seriously wrong, and even when it wasn't they still gave me medications and made sure I was feeling okay before I left. They were very quick and efficient and treated every patient with the most care and respect. Every person I spoke to that night was incredibly kind and caring and I was very satisfied with my visit. I've already recommended this hospital to everyone I know and I will definitely be returning if I ever have a need for an ER visit again. I highly reccomend this place to you if you haven't already been.

I had great service. I was there on Monday after Thanksgiving during the pandemic. It was super busy. All kinds of madness was going on. Rooms were in short supply. I waited about 5 hours to get a room, but the staff was kind and helpful, they even provided a lunch sandwich. I eventually made it to the 4th floor, all the shifts were great, swing shift was incredible. The guys on swing were smart and knew how to move the wheels of hospital medicine. The doctor was a young lady, smart and able to provide good answers to tough questions. Painful but great experience.

Let's face it....ANYWHERE YOU GO...HOSPITAL WISE....ER, IN-PATIENT, OR OUT PATIENT PEOPLE WILL COMPLAIN!!!! Just because they didn't get what they wanted or the outcome. THIS IS JUST MY OWN OPINION. Thanks to Covid, I went to this hospital twice within a week. The 1st time in the ER...cause my fever just wont go away nor stopped, I was given hydration tru IV which helped a few hrs, I was sent home....all the nurses and Dr in the ER that night was all friendly and Professionals. Unfortunately, Covid was persistent this time, my fever didn't stopped. I've been having feveres the past 2wks at this point, so my husband called ambulance....against my will, but I know I NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION. I went with the ambulance , and ER staff treated me just like who ever comes in first and the more serious ones were being treated accordingly. Within 30mins or less, I was set up in their ER rm...checked ...everything. To make it short....I ended up being admitted ...for 5 days I was by myself coz Covid don't allows anybody else with u or any visitations. Your only companions...Nurses and NA's....they are the unsung heroes here....they have families...babies....love ones just like the patients they're watching over. Yet hardly they get any "thank you" from their patients. From the bottom of my heart I am forever thankful to all u do and give, and to ...some Dr's who takes time visiting and chatting with their patients, I THANK YOU ALL. To whoever gave this hospital "avoid this hospital!!!" I'm sorry for what you experienced, but not all these great caregivers in this Valley Hospital are bad. And Valley Hospital Nurses and NA's and Dr who took good care of me they are #1 in my list.

I had my first child here on April 30, 2022. I checked in the day before, and was discharged with my bundle of joy may 1 2022. During my stay I was treated with kindness, love, care, concern and I loved all the nurses. Everyone has a different personality and I was there 3 days 2 nights so I got to experience a new set of staff every 12 hours but I can say that every single person was a gem. Even the ladies who drop off the food were wonderful and accommodating to me, my husband and my mother. They swapped staying the night with me and both were comfortable. The place is clean, and well kept. You will feel safe here. My child luckily had no major health issues so I have been very blessed, but I can tell that if you have a child with special care needs you will be treated appropriately- they are armed with a Nicu just in case. If I have another child I will absolutely re register at spring valley!

I cannot say enough how amazing my first delivery experience was at Spring Valley Hospital. I chose them based off of the hospital tour we went on, which I’m so glad I chose them. I was a high risk pregnancy and had to do a c section for my first child. All of my nurses and doctors, the anesthesiologist from before/after surgery to my nurses at postpartum to the lactation consultant. All the doctors and nurses for my c section surgery were so organized and encouraged me with kind words that I was doing well, and also walked me through everything before and during. Soon my son was out! It was the most amazing and beautiful experience. I cried tears of joy lol If I ever have a child again, I will definitely come back. The staff is incredibly accommodating to your recovery and such a warm nurturing feeling at their new “Birthing Place”. I loved that they have their own separate entrance for after hours as well. Thank you so much to Spring Valley Hospital for their amazing staff. I am so glad to have birthed our first child here.

My experience was very good. The pre-admission person was very nice, and professional. On the day of my surgery, everything went perfectly. The nursing staff was attentive and also very professional. The nurses worked well together and you could tell by there interaction with each other that they got along well and enjoyed their jobs. They made me feel at ease and less stressful. They explained each step of my surgical process with my husband and I. They care about their patients. I was well taken care of from beginning to end.

I been here several times before and for the most part it is a good hospital. However, today has been the worst experience ever. I came in for my dad and everything went well. Than after the doctor discharged us we waited for over 3 hours for someone to come over and send us home. It took an hour and a half for his test result and care but over 3 hours to send him home. This is unethical and unprofessional and I'm extremely upset with the experience. You don't do that to your patient. This is the last time I'll ever come to this hospital. This experience has been horrible.

The only reason I’m putting two stars is because of some of the nurses that made this stay pleasant. Let me be abundantly clear that wasn’t all the nurses just a couple with that being said I am very frustrated and disappointed. From the beginning when I started off in the emergency room, it was total chaos. I was in a hallway and a gurney for over eight hours. Until I got my room at 10:30 PM at night mind you I was here since 9:30 am. They say one thing and do another they Strong me along to the weekend where I’m paying for them just to administer Antibiotics. I want to go home. It’s now the weekend, so everything is pretty much closed. I can guarantee come Monday Miroclly I’ll be able to go home

I made two trips to the ER at Spring Valley Hospital two years ago and had a successful experience. The staff was kind and treated me so well. I felt safe. Yesterday, I had to check back in the ER at Spring Valley Hospital because I had a blood clot in my right thigh. They were the ones that placed the IVC filter in my neck two years ago to prevent further blood clots from traveling to my heart. They performed a CT scan and the filter is still functioning and working fine. I admire the work that the nurses and doctors have to do in the ER. They discharged me. The staff was kind and comforting while I was there.

I was in the ER recently and received excellent care. Dr. McLaughlin and Angelica my Nurse were on my care team. The Dr. listened to all my symptoms, history, and last few days of history and decided that I needed to be admitted. I thought his bedside manner was excellent. Angelica’s care was A+. She was always at my bedside when I needed her, and I never had to wait for medications or my blood sugars to be checked. Even though coming to the ER is a drag. I would gladly return to Spring Valley in the future!

Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable all with concern and a sense of humor when needed.

I have mixed feelings about this ER. I came in for abdominal pain on 07/19/23. I saw Dr. K. Cornia. The pros of this hospital were the staff. They were excellent! Very attentive, kind and kept me updated. The wait times were pretty standard for an ER. Now where this facility fell short was the comfort level. It was unacceptable! I was placed in a room with a small metal chair that had next to no cushion. I was in pain and would’ve appreciated a bed to lie in considering the ER was not busy but I was told that no beds were available in fast track. After my CT scan. I was moved to a discharge lounge and left there once again in an uncomfortable chair for 3 hours. No one goes to the ER feeling good so I feel patient comfort should be a priority. I don’t think I would return to this ER in the future unless there is improvements on keeping patients comfortable.

I visited this hospital from 07/20/2023, released 07/21/2023. I told them everything I was dealing with and they didn’t do anything to help me. I thought I was fine because I began to feel better after time passed however the only thing I was given was liquid tums and IV fluid for shortness of breath issues. I came home, and the next day began having the same issues I went into the hospital for. I never received any explanation from a doctor, and they would not provide my medical records or any medicine/prescriptions for future treatment. I told them what I thought was wrong and they left it at that instead of diagnosing the issue and helping me. Of course anyone wants to come home after being told we checked your heart, lungs, stomach and found nothing after 2 CT scans and a chest X-ray. I trusted when they told me nothing was wrong. I feel so bad the next day I created a living Will and Testament via email. Patrice Hill

Entered ER on 8/3/23. I’m impressed by the efficient ER process and staff. Given IMMEDIATE attention and care. Dr came very fast. I was diagnosed in about an hour and told the plan of admitting me. Waited in emergency room bed until I got placed in a hospital room. They made me comfortable all the way through as I waited. Our previous experiences in other area hospitals have been horrible. This is the first place I was helped immediately, treated kindly and given excellent care. I just hope the bill is just as good as everything else! Only issue was a nurse tried to offer me someone else’s narcotics but the mix up was quickly straightened out.

Harley the day shift nurse in the ER was very nice, the only reason I gave a 2 star rating. There were no blankets, are you kidding me! My mother was left in cold wet clothing, shivering for hours. She's 71 years old! She begged for blankets all night. She got a few sheets. She ended up dressing herself in a pair of shorts, hardly helped. Also no pillows, again are you kidding me. I would never go there willingly.

I live in Tucson but had to be taken to hospital while in Las Vegas. Spring Valley is an excellent facility. I can’t say enough about how all the staff were supportive and friendly. The doctors kept me and my wife fully informed of what was being done and results of tests. Fortunately I had no serious issues and was released after an overnight stay. My nurse Alex Munoz has been outstanding. I was admitted 9-16 to 9-18. I felt like she really listened to me with no judgment. I felt so comfortable telling her what I was really feeling. I was in room 4023. She made this very difficult painful stay so much better! Give her a raise! Respiratory therapy was great and so was the er. I was taken back so quickly. My only complaint was my room door was broken and would not stay closed. I had to have a trash can put in front of it to at-least keep it mostly closed. Occupational therapist Tina also took some time giving me some great words of encouragement that were truly needed. Overall I am pleased with my treatment. Also I appreciate that Dr. Malik listened to my concerns and kept me here until things were under control. I did not feel rushed to just go home and deal with it.

This facility is fairly well maintained and seems to be clean and professional. The positives being that it is well staffed with competent and compassionate medical staff. The only negatives are minor and isolated observations, wherein, I feel, a bit more attentiveness and consideration might have been exercised. Overall, one of the facilities you would rather be taken to, in the event medical care were to become necessary.

I was admitted into the ER and was immediately queued for surgery. The ER department took my concerns seriously and even found other underlying issues. This was my first hospital stay and it was a great one. RN Reinel & CNA Dulce E. who we’re working the 3rd floor were so kind and hospitable. They made what was a sore point in my life a good one. They demonstrated professionalism, had warm spirits, and made me feel safe by their cleanliness and attentiveness to my situation. Despite their large workloads, they made me feel seen and like my situation and I mattered. Thank you.

The staff on the 3rd floor 360-372 or so rooms were amazing. Day shift and night. The nurses and CNAs were so attentive and also gave me time to rest. They communicated with me so well. Also the registration lady and the ladies in the surgical waiting area. Overall i had the best experience at this hospital and I would definitely choose Spring Valley if there be a need for any other procedures.

The love and care I felt from the Drs and nurses during this delicate time was indescribable. I wish our encounters were met with happier news, but the support I felt from the entire birth department gave me the strength I needed. My team was attentive, efficient, compassionate, patient, & knowledgeable.. and my needs were met beyond what I could have ever expected. Words cannot express my gratitude for everyone involved these last few days. I will be coming here for all my future pregnancies 1000%! These people are family, I will never forget them!

Everyone that I encountered were extremely nice and very concerned about my condition. I've been unable to walk without a cane or a walker for over 2 years in other words I was crippled. They were very concerned anytime I made a move or had to let go of my Walker after I did the preliminary work way in etc they took care of me and made me as comfortable as they could I have to think them all for that. The wait was a little long but I don't have a problem with that I took a nap. When they wheeled me in to the room for surgery everyone was pleasant and thank everyone for that. The anesthesiologist made sure I don't have any regulation after that and thank you. When I woke up I was finally able to see and feel I was conscious enough to be moved they contacted my ride and by the time I was aware enough to leave all the time he was perfect they wheeled me out in a wheelchair and sent me home and so far I'm doing fine thank you very much

Spring Valley Hospital took very good care of me! When I arrived they took care of my blood clots! The nurses were wonderful! Thank you Elaine and Q! You helped to take my pain away! The doctors knew what to do! Thanks for saving my life! The hospital food was tasty, especially when you haven't eaten in two days. I recommend Spring Valley Hospital to anybody that is in need of healing! 5 STARS all the way!*****

My experience was really good. I’ve had two surgeries at this hospital and both times I can’t say I wasn’t pleased with the services. The nurses and doctors were very caring. The only little concern was with the last nurse that helped me while I was waking up from the anesthesia. She seemed annoyed at first and my husband and I felt rushed. As if they were trying to get us out quickly. Besides that all is well.

Nursing Staffs are efficient but the waiting room is uncomfortable. Hospital treat you right in the waiting room at lease provide comfortable chairs to seat and get your iv dripping. The room is chilling. Getting warm blanket is issue.hot water is no where to be found. Cafeteria is way off the ER. We were waiting for 6 hours total without some solid food beside the snack vending machine.

I was visiting from California when I had a medical emergency arise. I went to the E.R. and was promptly evaluated. After some tests I had to be admitted overnight for further care. The staff from the 1st people I contacted in E.R. to the nurses and doctors that took care of me were on it! They were very professional as well as kind and compassionate. If you find yourself needing care at the E.R. or inpatient hospital I highly recommend this facility.

Staff was great. Everyone from pre-op to Lisa at the admissions desk and Sarah who did my pre-surgery paperwork, well, that young lady was such a pleasure. She was super kind, gentle and had a wonderful "bedside" manner and made me feel very comfortable before my surgery ♥️ post-op was a quick and not uncomfortable at all. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Thank you to all ESPECIALLY my favorite orthopedic surgeon, Dr Gary Morris

The ladies in labor and delivery are amazing! My room at the birthplace was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and very attentive. Nurse Corey went above and beyond in her care for me during my outpatient surgery. She walked my husband and I through everything, and even held my hand to make me more comfortable during my procedure. A+ treatment.

I went to Spring Valley Hospital for surgery, the nurses and doctors were extremely polite and took the time to make sure that I was being well taken care of before my surgery, during surgery and after surgery. Now if I ever go to another hospital I will compare them to Spring Valley hospital. I just want to say thank you to the doctors nurses and the surgical team for taking such good care of me.
