My three month old puppy had an corneal ulcer. We brought him here because it was nearby. After they examined him (a full physical and request for stool sample which I did not ask for) they prescribed some oral meds and eye drops. One $300 bill later he seemed to be getting better as his eye was less cloudy. On his follow up visit they said it got worse and that he would have to either have some costly surgery or get his eye removed. We had them give us more medicine because it seemed to be working well. We decided to take him to a different vet for his next follow up. Not only was it less expensive because there were no unnecessary tests but they said his eye was 90% cured they sent us home with only 2 medications and told us to give them to him only for 10 days and then it will heal naturally. It has been about 3 weeks since that visit and his eye is completely healed. My dog could have senselessly lost his eye because of their greed and that doesn’t sit right with me. Please don’t take your pets here.

We had Dr. Johnson who was very knowledgeable about my rescue kittens. Pricing was fair and the environment was clean. Wait was long but I did a walk-in so I suggest making an appointment. Thank you Dr. Johnson! Nyx and Muses are very grateful for your help!

Dr. Kimberly Lutz recommended an IV, hospitalization overnight, and a lot of tests that amounted to $950. She speculated that my cat had respiratory and gastric issues and did xrays and tests accordingly. She either couldn't figure it out or didn't look at her closely. The cat was given back to me in terrible shape, no improvement at all, misdiagnosed with "back" issues that she claimed she couldn't see because it was in the soft tissue, and no treatment plan. Have you ever heard of an animal or human kept in a hospital overnight on an IV for a bad back? I haven't. I had to rush her to the ER the next day and in the process her real problem, an abscess, burst with blood and pus all over. For $350 the ER vets did some actual work and my cat is on the mend. I had felt the lump on her side prior to bringing her to Craig Rd, but two of their doctors examined her and said the problem was something else. The staff were not helpful when I emailed and called. Once they have the payment you get stonewalled. Shame on you, Kimberly Lutz. And shame on you Dr. Mych for charging these exorbitant prices. Sorry for the graphic photo but I think it shows how inexcusable this is.

Posting yet another 5 star review for the wonderful staff at Craig Road! I took my two kitty cats to be spayed. One of them is a feral rescue and is difficult to handle. Not only were they able to vaccinate her with no issue, but the spay was so minimally invasive the girls are both acting happy and relaxed. I'm continuously impressed with how comfortable they are handling my babies. Thank you for all that you've done for my dogs and cats ❤️ It means the world to me that my babies are in good hands.

I took my 10 week old Boxer to have his ears cropped at Craig Road Animal Hospital. I was suppose to meet the doctor before surgery but he wasn't there for initial appointment. I then showed the vet tech a picture of how I wanted them done as I had two other boxers with ears cropped that went flawless. She took a picture of what I had showed her. The procedure went well and they sent my dog home with his ears wrapped. The first time I saw the ears they were not cut the same as the picture that I gave them. They were longer and more narrow and this was a huge concern for me. We continued to have the ears wrapped for the next 5 months but they would not stand correctly. They offered to do another surgery where they said most likely this surgery will work. The vet scraps the ear cartilage to try to get the ears to stand. That also failed! They had absolutely no answers for me. Long story short, both ears are flopping and not standing. I'm certain that this is due to the way they were cropped. I'm not sure how you mess up a crop when you have a picture and supposedly have been doing cropping for over 10yrs (Dr Mich). I asked to speak to the doctor on a few occasions throughout the process but he was never available. The matter a fact attitude that this facility had throughout the process was ridiculous. The customer service was also mediocre at best. The amount of money that I was charged for a failed crop was very high. I totally understand that no crop is guaranteed but they did not crop them they way I told them too in the beginning. I wouldn't take my animals there if it were the only vet in Vegas after this experience. I usually don't leave reviews but this needed to be brought to everyone's attention that are considering cropping their dogs ears!

I've been going to Craig Road Animal Hospital for years and highly respect all the Dr's and staff. A few days ago I took one of my 10 yr old dogs in because he obviously didn't feel well. It turned out he was critical and needed a blood transfusion. Dr Lutz explained everything in detail and was so kind. She was wonderful in every way. In fact, the whole staff from the front desk on were very caring. My case was a STAT case and they moved fast. If you ever have to wait it isn't from them sitting around but working under stressful situations saving our babies. My little guy is home now but not out of the woods yet. Thank you Dr Lutz!

Hmmm something very iffy with these local Vet/hospitals and Specialty Hospital some kind of commission but they’re pushing and saying your dog is declining and need to be taken to specialty and sedating your pups to make you believe. Man wishing some real Vets who care for animals in their hearts still exist. Be careful, I may be wrong but something is definitely fishy.

The docs and techs are always kind and so knowledgeable. My dog, Wilma stresses with nail clippings. They did the front paws but didn't want to stress her more so they didn't do the back and didn't charge at all. We were able to do her back paws ourselves. We are so appreciative of the staff there.

I have been going to this animal hospital for years for two different dogs - a German Shepherd and Golden Retriever. For the most part, I really haven’t had any issues until couple months ago. I didn’t get seen until an hour to an hour and a half AFTER my appointment was scheduled. I even saw people who walked in after me get seen before me. This upset me so much that I switched animal hospitals. I let this be known on their survey that they emailed me after my visit. However, I decided to give them another chance when I needed a trip to the vet. Since the incident, I haven’t had any issues. I’ve actually been called back to an exam room after waiting no longer than 10 minutes in the lobby. The staff is always nice. The doctors and assistants are very professional. I hope to continue receiving this kind of service in the future.

I had an appointment at 9am for my dog to get an allergy shot. I arrived at 8:45am and called to check in for curbside service. An hour later I called back, because they had not come out to get him. I think they re checked him in and argued with me that my appointment was at 9:30am, when on my email it said 9am. I cancelled the appointment and got his records. Pretty upsetting, as I was a customer for many years.

Dr. A. Deml, He was tentative while listening to my concerns. He provided all options for my geriatric Shitzu-Poo. He was concerned and polite. He allowed me to be a part of the decision making. I really appreciated it. Charlie is a happy guy!

05-23-2022-Editing my review for the boarding offered at Craig Road Animal Hospital. I still stand by my original 5 star review if the veterinary staff. We reached out to the boarding staff in early April to see if they would be comfortable caring for our dog while we went on vacation. He has had some challenging behavior in the past. We agreed to do a trial run while we were still in town in case of any issues. We paid $160 for boarding and sedatives for them to keep him one night. When we picked up we were told he did fine with the sedative. We were told to start the meds the night before we dropped off. We had a boarding reservation in May- Tickets purchased to Disneyland, hotels booked, time off work arranged. One day before our reservation we called to see if we could make a slight tweak. We were informed that we did not have a reservation. They decided he was not a good fit but never told us. if we had not called we would have been left on the day of our trip with no where for our dog. I asked to speak with the Supervisor. She stated that he did fine with the day staff however not so great with the night staff. She was not aware until 2 days after we picked him up because it was her days off. She canceled our reservation and never bothered to tell us. A month passed and we thought were were all set to go on our trip. When I expressed my frustration, she said they would take him if we could not make any other arrangements but it would not be good for his mental health. They were not comfortable handling him so they would just leave him in his kennel the entire week. This was not an option. My kids were crying as they thought we were going to have to cancel our trip. I found another kennel that agree to take him. I gave them all the info on his quirks and explained how to interact with him. They said he did great the entire week. He played with staff, no sedatives, zero incidents. They even said they did not understand why the other kennel (Craig Road) had any issues with him-They described him as a total sweetheart, snugglebug. My family has been going to Craig Road animal hospital since I was a kid. 25 years later they are the only ones I trust when my pets need care. We adopted a lab from the shelter less than a year ago. The amazing staff at Craig Road have saved his life twice with two emergency surgeries. Thank you Dr. Larkin, Dr. Mychajlonka, Dr. Whitcraft and Dr. Goldfield! Without your care we would no longer have Oreo with us!

Moved here from Washington State and never thought I would find a vet for my baby anywhere close to what I had. Craig Road Animal Hospital exceeded what I hoped for. Their Veterinary Doctors and Staff are dedicated to making sure that your fur baby is well taken care of, and everything is clearly explained to you. The fees for services are very reasonable and you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love the experience at Craig Road Animal Hospital! My sweet puppy got ran over by a truck and after getting quoted $10,000 at the emergency vet I was helpless. The next morning I brought my baby here, as she waited in the car with her grandma, I explained everything to the front desk they were very quick with intaking the information and very helpful! I waited about 30-45 minutes as a walk-in and got called. Dr.Larkin was who took care of my baby and she was so nice!!! She explained everything where it was very easy to understand, helped me pick the best option for my puppy and took her right in. (Only was quoted and charged $2,800 for x-rays and leg amputation!) I felt at peace leaving my puppy in their care for 2 1/2 days! They called me with updates and called to check up on my baby’s post-surgery. I’ve never been so satisfied and happy with a vet visit!! Pricing was affordable and adaptable to your income and very clean environment! I highly recommend Craig Road animal hospital especially Dr.Larkin and her assistant Juliana! Thank you Dr.Larkin and Craig Road Animal Hospital for helping my baby Zuma!!!!! <3

I have been coming to Craig Road since 2009. I am very happy with the care my dogs have received. I also appreciate the considerable patience I am shown by staff. I am a horrible worry wort and my every concern and question is handled without judgment or disdain. Dr. Whitcraft is so very professional, considerate and knowledgeable! I'd recommend her to anyone. I was there yesterday with my fur baby and felt that my dog and I were important and taken seriously. Things are not always perfect but where are things perfect? I find that if I do have an issue and bring it to their attention, it's dealt with and acknowledged.

Clean, friendly, and professional. Bought my 9 pups and mama dog in and the staff was great! The wait was not long. They were informative, and showed a lot of love to my pups. Our mama dog seemed conformable with the staff handling her pups. We just moved to this side of town and have found our new vet.

I wish I had discovered Craig Road Animal Hospital sooner but at least I found them in time to help me with my BabyGirl. I didn't have an appointment but they greeted me with kindness and led me to an exam room. Mari was extremely considerate of my BabyGirl's delicate condition and Dr. Womack was so patient and understood my concerns while listening to everything I had to say. My sweet girl gave me 18 wonderful years of joy; I'm very thankful for the peaceful way in which Dr. Wilson helped her pass in my arms. The vet tech that helped during our 2nd visit was sympathetic and kind but I didn't get his name. I wasn't rushed at all and nobody there gave me the impression that they would rather be anywhere else. Everyone was so nice and I don't feel that they took advantage of me, performed unnecessary procedures or over charged me like I believe the previous three animal hospitals did. I have no more fur babies but if I ever recover from this devastating loss enough to adopt another I will bring them here.

This animal hospital kept raising my 18+ year old cat's insulin dose then I had to eventually put my cat down for insulin overdose. They initially say they worried about hypoglycemia, yet they kept raising his dose (invoices attached.) They did not take into account that car rides, and being around a bunch of other animals all day will raise blood suagar numbers in animals. Initially, Dr. Tujillo did a great work, she is a good vet. After that though Dr Whitcraft just did not have time to breif me on his numbers, and reasons why his doses are raising. They can do a better job of briefing customers, and giving us the paperwork we pay for. I would have questioned more. I did not receive some of his paperwork when initially I paid my invoices. Then I got them to email me the paperwork (glucose numbers & important instructions) A WEEK after I put him down. They said "with his age he may have had concurrent issues." I understand that he was old, but my reponse would be then "why keep raising his dose?" I don't want to come off mad. He lived over 18 years, so somewhere in there we did something right. We are just hoping this review will help out the next sets of customers.

My best friend of 10 years had to cross the rainbow bridge, we had originally planned to have a vet come to the house and perform the service in the comfort of our home. My baby’s health declined quickly and I ended up having to call multiple vets begging for help because I couldn’t let her suffer. Craig animal hospital told me to bring her in, no questions asked. I could barely speak through the tears but everyone I came in contact with was so caring and compassionate. They took so much care to make sure she was comfortable in her final moments. A few weeks after losing Emma I received a card in the mail filled with signatures and well wishes from the staff….when I tell you I ugly cried…. They didn’t have to do that but I really appreciate every single one of them taking the time out of their day to sign the card and send love for my sweet little Emma. Thank you for being wonderful human beings at a dark time in my life. ❤️

Granted I came in as a new patient walk-in, but my dog was very ill and could barely walk. My vet had referred me as they were without a doctor for the day. We waited about 45 minutes as a walk-in and then were taken to an exam room. When we got there my dog started bleeding rectally and the tech saw this. After waiting an hour for the doctor and the dog was still bleeding I went out to the front desk. I waited in front of 4 employees for what seemed to be an eternity. When I told them what was happening all they wanted to do was give me a towel. I told them that I wanted to put the dog to sleep and it was still another 15 minutes for the doctor. Then it took another 30 minutes to get the euthanasia to get started. The only person who showed any compassion was the vet herself. No urgency with anyone. A horrible experience on a horrible day.

I have been to several veterinary offices in a few states over my life, and Craig Road Animal Hospital is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I set my appointment for 6:30am, arrived at 6:15am, and didn’t even get put into a room until after 9:30am (it was not busy). They do not give good advice, they give advice that lines their pockets. It is truly sad when people are sick enough to take advantage of people with their pets. Price gouging, nothing explained properly, no meaningful advice, and to top it off, after I paid over $400, my dog only got his nails clipped, vaccinated, fecal, and blood work, they never called me to give me the results of the bloodwork. They claimed to have called me, but caller ID says that is a lie. Save yourself some time, stress, and money- take your pet elsewhere. Judging by the other reviews, this place is more of a liability to your pet than any kind of help.

They didn’t know what was wrong with my cat so I paid $400 for meds and blood work. It has been almost a week and not a single doctor can spare 5 minutes to call me back with the results because “they’re busy”. I don’t get to not call my customers with updates because I’m “too busy”. What a horrible business practice. I’ve given this place so many chances over the years but I’m done. Update to my original review- I finally got a call from the vet almost a full week after blood work was done. Went back the next day to get a urine sample and do a X-ray. Saw a different vet since the first wasn’t available at a time that worked for me. She spent about 5 minutes with my cat, no urine sample collected and no X-ray done, and determined he was frequenting the litter box because his anal glands were impacted. They were supposedly so bad he needed to be put under to fully extract them. Fine, I agree to this and a dental that they upsold me as he’s a big boy and I don’t want him put under anesthesia more than necessary. I bring him in the next morning for this. While he’s out they call me and say they found something unusual in his bladder and need to send it out for testing. I finally get a call with the results again almost a full week after the procedure was done telling me he has stones/crystals in his bladder and was the cause all along (although the vet argued his anal glands were an immediate issue at the time). They then presented me with an inflated estimate of $3300 for another surgery. My “discounted estimate” was $1800 for all my troubles. I will pay ANYTHING to save my baby boy but I will not give another dollar to this place. A months worth of time and $1700 wasted and now I’m scrambling, looking for a place I can trust to care for my boy. I took my cat to a different vet that isn’t money hungry. I paid $55 for an exam and was advised with the proper diet my cat would not need another surgery. After the vet reviewed all of my cats records from this place he also informed me these hacks pulled my cat’s CANINE tooth during the dental for no reason. How upsetting that I put my baby through that for no reason because I thought I was doing what was best for him. Do not condemn your beloved pet to Craig Road or Ann Road Animal Hospitals.

Just a note about my positive experience with Craig Road animal hospital and Dr Aimee Trujillo who has worked with my German Shepherd Marley twice in the last 4 months and am very happy to report positive feedback with my experience with her. Very friendly, positive and willingness to help me with my pet. Received a call from her today stating her blood work taken yesterday was all good and making sure I had no issues with my prescription order and said she would follow up with the pharmacy. Very pleasant experience nice to feel like someone on your side helping out! Thanks again Dr Trujillo i will be calling on you again

I took my dog in for an earache and allergy review and received a complete exam to look for the cause.of her distress. Found not only did she have an ear infection but an eye ulcer. Treatment was explained and I was given different options to get her better. Great experience, doctors and staff. Highly recommend.

I had appointments on 2 separate days for different cats. Dr. Jansen was really knowledge and caring. I appreciate how she made me feel comfortable with the treatment options I was able to afford and didn’t try to pressure me in to higher cost treatments. The next day Dr. Bordman was very thorough and kind. I appreciate the way she handled advising me on my Shinobi’s weight without fat shaming him or making me feel bad.(he’s 15lbs should be 11 FYI). Also Christy was so helpful and personable. Shinobi had an accident in his carrier on the way over and she jumped right in and cleaned the carrier for me and helped me clean Shinobi up, all the while being so upbeat and pleasant. I’ve been going to this Vet office for almost 14 years and have never had a negative experience.

When I took my dog here I was sure she was knocking on deaths door. I allowed her to stay at this clinic for 4 nights. They called me twice a day with updates abdominal answered all of my questions. She was on IV fluids, meds, and eventually a feeding tube. I had to bring her home because I could not afford a lengthier stay. I was given meds and very detailed care instructions. It's been a little over 24 hours since she's been home. Now she's eating, wagging her tail, walking around and jumping on our legs. Thank you all for the care you gave Kali. I know we still have a ways to go, but I'm pleased with the progress. I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart. 🩷

I have a Savannah Greater Northern Lynx, and due to the nature of him being a rescue, he has terrible issue being cage reactive. I love the fact that Craig Road is so amazing on how easy it was to make and rearrange appointments due to his nature. Dr. Larkin and her staff ROCK! The knowledge, the friendliness and the availability to work with our furr boy is outstanding. I highly recommend them 200%

truly horrifying experience. my mother and i took all 4 of our dogs to this vet. when we took our 2, 3 month old puppies to be vaccinated, we arrived 15 minutes before our appointment. we had 2 unsocialized young ( and large! ) puppies with us. our boys were so scared, so they were of course barking and cowering. the staff did nothing but give us dirty looks and shuffle past our dogs for about an hour and a half AFTER our appointment time. by the time the staff actually cared enough to put us into a room, my mom had left to work. i, alone, was left in a room with my puppies for at least another 20 minutes. the vet did not care one bit about my dogs, simply took them back kicking and screaming and gave them their vaccines. she came in for about 5 seconds, and i was quickly rushed out. the next and truly worst experience has been my poor rottweiler’s spay. my girl is 3, and a big sweet heart. we took her and my pit bull in to get spayed together, and we, again, waited in the waiting room with our 2 dogs for an hour ( one of which is reactive. ) when we were seated in a room, it was another hour of waiting for someone to finally talk to us. meanwhile, our pittbull had a bad poop in the room, we asked for tools to clean it, or some help and got nun. all of the vet techs were so mean and unhelpful. they threw 2 white hand towels on the floor from the cabinet and left us with it. nobody ever came back with not even a trash bag. we resorted to just scooping what we could with the towels and tissues. we even had to get the trash can from the cabinet. it was awful. after we were FINALLY seen, we were informed our pittbull had a fever and could not be fixed, we were okay with that. but, we were hesitant to send our girl back alone. we decided she was already here so we let them take her back. the vet tech that tried to take her at first was so mean, and my dog right off the bat was simply not comfortable with her. we received a nasty look when asking for a different tech, but got one. this is not even the worst part. we picked up our girl and she was a mess. she has a HUGE incision, with a terrible mess of sutures. it is uneven, and not even done tight and to the top. there is about 2 cm of just open wound. ignoring this, we take her home and give her meds and do everything they say. the next day, she starts leaking a mix of blood and discharge from her wound?! we call, and basically are told if we want too we can come, for a literal emergency? like nobody truly cared for our dog. we went in, and sat in the waiting area for again like 45 minutes, while our dog is making a puddle of fluid on the floor. they take her back in a muzzle and choke leash, when she is clearly so afraid. they come out, proceed to tell us all she needs to do is wear the cone? ( she is a pretty chunky girl, she can’t even reach it. but aside from that she’s very smart and watched 24/7, she has NOT licked it. ) and give us some meds just incase it gets infected. as my mother is paying, our dog is still leaking fluid and blood on the ground on the way out. who lets someone leave with their dog still BLEEDING from a surgical wound?! it has been days, and it has gotten to the point where the terrible stitches have started to kind of unravel, and she is bleeding a lot. we have done actually everything they said, and it’s still terrible. we are taking her to a REAL vet. this has been the worst place i have ever been too. they do not care about animals, or the owners. these are our BABIES, just like for many families, and for us to be pushed to the side or made to feel it’s our fault for their poor work? terrible. do not take your animals here if you love them.

I've been a client of Craig Road Animal Hospital since I moved to Las Vegas in 2012. It's a top notch hospital with top notch staff - from front desk to vet techs to their great team of doctors. Dr. Whitcraft is an absolute gem and has not only provided my dogs with spectacular care, she's taught me a lot and helped me to care for more dogs even better.

Shame to the people who represent this business. They only prioritize their greed. I hope that they don’t drown on their greed. I only encounter one person that is friendly, the rest of them are very unfriendly. They dont even afford a little smile. The so called “doctors” are not caring at all unless u pay them big money for just eyeballing your pet, they wont help u or give u any medication to help your pet with any issues that your pet has, even the minor issues. SHAME!! I just had a boarding too with them and they didnt provide enough water to my pet during the stay. My pet was so dehydrated with this heat. The rooms are hot too, its like they are saving on energy bills. For a business that represent caring and compassion, this business doesnt have it, they only care about your money not your pet, its disgusting that they call themselves doctors but they dont have what it means to be called doctors. As a person who is also in medical field, I condemn the behaviors of these people who works here and the people who represent this business. I understand the policies but you have an oath when u accepted those white coats at least give your evaluation in a compassionate way. You sleep better at night knowing that u help people with caring and sincerity not at how much money u have in your bank account.

AMAZING STAFF!!!! Had an emergency 30 minutes before closing, and even though they were full they still found someone to come and triage my fur baby. Thankfully everything ended up fine! But jasmine was so calm, patient and reassuring it made the whole scary experience a little less scary. 10/10 recommend!!

Even though i had to put my little baby down yesterday afternoon, the staff and doctors were absolutely amazing. They did every test, everything possible to save my baby that was there for 3 days. They held her while i was in shambles because i couldn’t bring myself to hold her while she was put down and they were so sweet and gentle. These people really care about the animals and i wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with my kitty but them. Thank you doctor Sarah Jansen for really having the biggest heart for my little baby. And nurse Mira (probably spelled different i just had too many tears in my eyes) you all really made sure my sweet little baby was loved while i wasn’t there over the nights.

Two stars given for great service 3 years ago... I've been coming here for years, the past year and a half this place has gone down hill. For the past 3 visits, each took over 2.5 hours and started an hour late. I get emergencies happen but not even sure that was the reason. There was no communication whatsoever, it just was. My pet had a visit this past Tues for a lab draw as he has kidney disease, no results..it's Sat night, this is despite calling twice to get results....all I got was sorry...I'll send a message to a vet. I shouldn't be surprised, it took 10 days two visits ago...the vet was on vacation....then she didn't see the labs....again...I made multiple calls to get the results. Another vet could at least call??? Both visits labs were a CBC and a chem panel. I really should have left about a year and a half ago when the vet removed the wrong tooth on my pet and never called me back-I asked twice to speak with her. After that incident, I took another pet in for a check up and explained the situation to a senior vet and she stated she would ask the vet who pulled the the wrong tooth to give me a call....nothing. I kept making excuses for this place, in my mind...things happen, events happen. What is now clear to me...Me and my pets are just another number....... Lab values matter, teeth matter...that's why I am a responsible pet owner and take my pets to the vet.....clearly I need to find a place that cares about the welfare of my family. 🐾

👍👍 They love my pup and it shows. Am I rich, no. So they give me all the options to best fix my doggo, who has serious skin issues. They recommended many many options to help, my Nala, overcome her itchiness. They do it with care. No pressure. No guilt. Just love for the animal.

👍👍 2021/2022 UPDATE: Sun City has changed their policies for dentals. They redid their dental suite and it is very nice. Honey was the first appointment at 7:00 a.m. last month and got to come home around 3:00 p.m. Much better than 13 hours. This was my only issue with Sun City so they now get 5 s...

👍👍 We have been part of the Creature Comforts family for 8 years. Our Doberman Pincher, Breezy, has had more than her share of medical challenges. We would not have her today if not for the care and expertise of the doctors, nurses, techs and staff at this amazing hospital. We are forever grateful....

😠 Around midnight June 20th, 2023 Animal Focus Vet tried to charge us $3600.00 (later reduced to $2700.00) for a cut on my dog’s neck. We ended up going to another 24 hour Veterinary Emergency + Critical Care (VE + CC) who provided cleaning, lab work, staples , and antibiotics for $327.59 (without any...
