My husband and I came here after a long day of hiking and it was a great choice. We shared: - Akanomi Roll - Amazing Tuna Roll - Hawaii Roll - Snow White Roll - Carman Roll It really hit the spot. My two favorite rolls were the Akanomi Roll and the Carman Roll. The rolls were very big which I appreciated. If you're in the area looking for sushi, I'd recommend stopping by!

Amazing quality! My husband loves their sashimi here - so fresh!!! The roll was also really delicious. The fried rice was a bit salty for me but my husband loved it.

I was kinda socked at all the high ratings, but when I went here I absolutely saw why. The staff was very polite and attentive, and everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. This is my new favorite sushi restaurant.

We are regulars here from the past 1 year and this place has NEVER disappointed us. Their tempura rolls are a must try! Even the cocktail are amazing. Our recommendations, are Litchi Martini, Long Island ice tea and Whiskey sour!

Went there with a friend and absolutely loved the Akanomi sushi. It was delicious. Also, the presentation of the food was amazing and so, so adorable! Highly recommend to any sushi lover out there.

BEST SUSHI WE'VE EVER HAD. They have the freshest sushi we've ever had and we've had a lot of sushi. Akanomi's sushi is better than even some of the best sushi restaurants in Manhattan. The service was very good. The only thing was that the lighting was very dim, making it hard to see the beautiful, artful presentations that are served there. We will go there all the way from Orange County just for their sushi.

First time trying out this restaurant. We ordered for pick up. Got four varieties of sushi rolls and vegetable pad Thai. The sushi rolls were really good. Fresh. The pad Thai was tasty but didn’t like the overcooked broccoli. Pad Thai could be better.

One of the best restaurants! Sushi is very fresh, great portions, and prices are not crazy as they are at other places. The owners and staff are just amazing! I moved from Albany to Saratoga, but I still can’t get AKANOMI out of my mind lol.

I ordered takeout 2 days ago because 2 weeks ago, my family and i had great sushi rolls there. Very disappointed. Our two mango rolls tasted like mold. Over $80 worth of sushi was hardly eaten and we usually fight for the last piece. Probably will not go back…if I do, I will tell them this in person and ask them to use fresh ingredients…not old moldy tasting ones.

We had cauliflower tempura (which was specials for that day), Tomo roll and couple of rolls on the regular menu. Everything was good 👍! The inside of the restaurant is pretty clean and nice setting, the servers were all nice and friendly. It's a little more expensive than other asian restaurants in the area but it's worth paying extra. We'll definitely go back soon.

Excellent place to have top shelf and fresh sushi! Really good alaskan rolls , spicy tuna and the rice is always perfect! The service is always good and I order a lot of takeout. Thank-you for the yummy sushi!

We were very happy with our first time dining with Akanomi. The sushi love boat was very fresh with normal size pieces. (Large than competitors). The waitress was very accommodating and friendly to our 15 month old grandchild. I wish we were closer to one another, would visit frequently. I will revisit when ever I am in the area.

Well I've never dined there. But we get takeout and I also get their platters California rolls with the spicy mustard. That's my go-to for taking it to a barbecue or my addition to a side for a family gathering and everybody loves it. Quick easy worth every penny. And everybody there knows us. So if I forget something it's all in their computer. They're great! Great business. Recommend them highly food is delicious

Deserves 5 stars. Easily one of the top sushi spots in the capital region. Everything I’ve had has been wonderful. Their new location is much bigger. Great atmosphere. Love the owners and staff.

Akanomi is by far the best sushi place in the area!! They have AMAZING food and an even better staff!

My husband and I used to live in walking distance to Akanomi, so we ate there as often as we could afford it! The food and service were consistently fantastic. We recently visited their new space and it's very sleek and spacious! There's a great cocktail menu, as well as a variety of options for sake, beer, and wine (I love their plum wine). The sushi was, as always, fresh and flavorful, and the service was exceptional. Even the red bean ice cream I tried for dessert was delicious! Sadly, we are no longer walking distance from Akanomi, but we will return time and time again because it's worth the drive!

Really nice and fresh sushi. The special rolls are always really good. The lunch special rolls is nice for the price, however I have noticed the size of each piece of sushi is extremely tiny. Also saw once I reached the store that the price listed on the menu is the cash price and payment by other methods is actually 4% more. This is a little misleading especially if I don't have cash on hand.

Favorite store ever. The service here is perfect. Last time I were here with my friend, and the dishes are coming in relatively slowly. This time I were alone here and I finished it pretty quickly, and the dishes coming in are pretty quickly. Food here are so perfect. I love sashimi so much and I’m easily to feel cold and uncomfortable for stomach. But it never ever happens here after I had the sashimi, even with cold water. This is the only place that made this happen. The fish got designed too. Perfect bite with perfect wasabi with little tomato rabbit. They offer different desserts seasonally. Last time it was winter and they offered fruits. This time it’s summer and they offered amazing designed ice cream. It’s a love, care and tasty restaurant.
