I’m new to the area and have been trying to find a stylist since I got here. Luckily, I found Luma! She is so gifted with her craft and clearly has a passion for what she does. I don’t think anyone could’ve done my balayage better than her. Bita, her assistant, also added to the experience as she is also a registered hairstylist and clearly talented, the two together make a dynamic duo. 10/10 recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience here today after a “hair emergency”. Marium (sp?) answered the phone and I explained that I had a kitchen accident where the gas burner exploded and singed my hair. She fit me right in with Christie Salada. Christie was so sweet and spent lots of time washing and deep conditioning my hair, carefully brushed, cut and styled my hair. Not only is it a great cut but I was feeling pretty frazzled and she was so comforting. I’m really thankful they could fit me in so quickly because I was afraid to touch my hair. It’s soft and shiny now! 😊

Went to Beauty Collective in Birmingham, I had a cut and highlights with Avery Grace, she did an awesome job. Not sure what was more impressive the cut or the highlights, very talented young lady and very personable!!!

I highly highly recommend Beauty Collective Salon!! They are very knowledgeable, very friendly, and do an amazing job!! The salons are clean, beautiful decor with a relaxing atmosphere. You walk out with your hair looking great and feel like you were with friends. I have very thick curly hard to manage hair. Cara has been my stylist for 18 years. I am so thankful I came across Cara. I love getting my hair washed by Miriam. She does such a thorough job! If you are looking for a great salon, this is definitely the place!

Beauty Collective is awesome! I have been to the salons on Eaton and Catalpa and both are stylish and clean. The people that work there are awesome, and Cara the owner is incredible. Great customer service and she cares about her clients. I have recommended many people to Beauty Collective - my wife and two of my daughters included - and they are very happy there!

I love getting my hair done at Beauty Collective. The place is wonderful, it’s extremely clean and everyone is so hardworking and kind. The hospitality they provide is excellent. My hairdresser, Luma, puts 110% effort every time she does my hair. She is patient and thorough and makes sure it looks exactly how I want it to. She also gives me tips that have helped me improve the health of my hair. She is a true professional, and I recommend her to everyone.

If you’re looking for a good cut at a reasonable price reach out to Avery Grace Hair! I don’t trust anyone else with my hair after going to her. Everything about the experience is worth every penny. As for the salon, it’s always clean and everyone is so caring. Truly a gem in the Birmingham area.

Beauty Collective is my favorite place to be. My hairdresser Luma is one of the most talented people I know. She gives me the best hair-care tips, she is very patient with the small details that make a difference, and she creates such a positive environment. The salon itself is very clean and a great environment, and everybody there is so kind. Every time I get my hair done, it looks even better than what I imagined. I love everything about the salon and Luma and it will always be my go-to place to get my hair done.

Luma Barhko is an excellent stylist, and I am so happy I found her at Art of Cheveux. I recommend her 100%! I was looking for a product and/or hair style for a more professional look for years. She introduced me to Magic Sleek, a fabulous product that keeps my hair healthy, and always looking great! Luma also introduced me to hair serums that do wonders in avoiding split ends. She is wonderful!
