Authentic
hot
pot
place
and
surprising
to
find
in
Madrid.
In
Toronto
we
have
a
ton
of
authentic
hot
pot
places
so
it
is
nothing
new
to
us.
We
made
a
reservation
off
the
Fork,
as
they
offer
a
30%
discount
on
the
a
la
carte
menu.
When
we
arrived
it
was
basically
empty
but
a
few
more
tables
arrived
after
us.
Still,
it
is
recommended
to
make
a
reservation
if
you'll
be
ordering
a
la
carte.
They
have
a
few
combos
which
are
excluded
from
the
promotion
but
we
wanted
to
try
the
other
items
as
well.
We
ordered
quite
a
bit.
We
started
with
a
half
half
base,
which
was
around
€12.
We
mostly
ordered
mixed
platters
for
the
dishes,
including
the
mushroom
mix
(€8.80),
veggies
mix
(€7.50),
meat
mix
(€9.5),
and
tofu
mix
(€7.50).
We
also
added
the
shrimp
paste
(€5.50),
beef
meatballs
(€4.90),
crab
(€6.50)
and
whole
shrimp
(€6.50).
I
recommend
all
the
mixed
platters
due
to
the
value
and
variety
of
foods
that
you
get.
I
didn't
think
the
whole
shrimps
were
very
fresh/
good
value.
In
total
we
spent
around
€60
including
drinks
and
the
30%
discount.
We
could
have
definitely
gotten
away
with
spending
less,
as
most
people
probably
don't
order
such
a
large
assortment
of
dishes.
But
we
were
hungry
and
wanted
to
try
everything!
The
price
is
still
very
good
compared
to
prices
at
home.
The
service
was
also
very
good
as
the
restaurant
was
not
busy.
Definitely
recommend!
