3
things:
location,
location,
location...!
Although
the
rooms
were
nicely
refurbished,
and
the
new
isle
had
apparently
bigger
rooms
than
the
old
one,
it
had
unfortunately
poor
sound
insulation,
whether
from
the
street,
or
from
the
corridor.
Food
wise,
breakfast
offer
was
good
for
a
4star
hotel
and
rooftop
served
some
nice
tacos
(but
a
burger
arrived
dangerously
undercooked).
Service
wise,
congrats
to
the
Front
desk
staff
who
was
quick
and
efficient,
breakfast
staff
was
OK
(but
with
little
or
no
interaction),
as
compared
with
the
bar
staff
on
the
rooftop,
who
were
coping
really
hard
to
deliver...
They
barely
spoke
little
or
not
at
all
English
(which
is
a
Spanish
problem
in
general),
in
addition
to
some
very
slow
service
and
underlying
rudeness,
when
moments
were
getting
busy,
while
occasionally
serving
in
parallel
a
tray
of
drinks
at
a
private
event
in
a
function
room
nearby...
Honestly,
with
such
conditions
and
40
degrees
heat,
we
only
felt
compassion
and
understanding,
but
you
cannot
demand
from
a
small
group
of
guests,
who
enjoy
some
relaxing
time
with
drinks
at
the
pool,
to
order
food
all
together
at
once,
just
because
it's
convenient
for
you...that
was
surreal!
