I was treated very poorly (there was a lot of people in the restaurant but that does not justify the bad attitude or the utter lack of attention I was met with). I asked for a suggestion and they suggested me shrimps, which I didn't realize were extra to the menu I asked for and ended up costing more than the whole menu. When they brought the check I couldn't even express my resentment as they just left the check on the table with the POS and then left me there doing transactions and check by myself. I wouldn't have complained if the shrimps were at least worth it (or at the very least cleaned). Bad service, bad price for quality, the rest was just average.

They knew we were foreigners and the owner wanted to us to pay more. The quality of the food is poor. The seafood smelled of amoniaco. We wont repeat.

Very bad experience: first of all, they have an English menu but the translation are completely wrong (I also speak Spanish, English menu was for my friend), so it is useless. Then we ordered a "vegetable sandwich" which to our surprise came with tuna 😂 when we told the waiter that we are vegetarians and therefore cannot eat that sandwich he replied "but is just tuna, is still vegetarian". Sooo these guys don't even know what vegetarian means. He took the sandwich back and simply removed the tuna and brought everything else back, so we couldn't even eat it because the fish was still there. The other plate was a cheese plate that had nothing more than cheese, not even a bread or jelly on the side, if we wanted that, we would have to pay extra. Also, they keep bringing things that seem like they are giving for free but at the end they plan to charge all of it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I had two years without coming here, and the last time I did, the service was so disgustingly bad that I cannot even describe it in words. I went there to invite someone to try cider, and it was another Spanish traditional customer service experience: disgusting. It is so sad ):

Very nice place for dinner or tapas. The portions are big enough and the staff very friendly and attentive. Recommended to reserve as it can get crowded

Visited here on a Thursday or Friday, probably around 5 or 6pm. I speak basic Spanish and got a bit of attitude from the main man at the bar when I asked, 'Hablas ingles?' I got served by a very nice young man with gentle eyes. At first, I ordered the paella, but was told that it would take half an hour. So I switched to jamon croquettes and empanadas. The empanadas (I should have noted the word 'quesera') were cheesy and disgusting but the jamon croquettes were smashing! For drinks, don't get juice - the glass was tiny. They were showing the French Open tennis when I got there, so I was happy. Don't be surprised to see policemen enjoying tapas at the bar. A good experience, if a bit uppity

Always a success! The prices have gone up a lot. 2.70€ for a caña! And for some reason the tortilla was very oily and salty, that's not normal here. I love the generous tapas and the friendly servers.

I went to this restaurant because of all the comments mentioned ,it turns out that it's not all that...my tacos (al pastor)were cold had no flavor no salt on table had to ask for the sauce to put on my tacos.".El Barrio Restaurant" has better food. You should try that place... The only thing that was good was my Pina Colada!!!

One of the best tapas in Madrid! Good food too, especially Cachopo and Caldo Gallego. Fair prices and always cold beer and cider! But the highlight is Miguel, one of the best waiters in town. Always attentive and ready to serve a "chupito".

Found this place purely by chance. Had and English menu which was handy. The staff were very nice. The portion sizes for the tapas were VERY generous. The food was amazing.. recommend the fried anchovies, the clams and beans with ham and squid. Highly recommend this restaurant.
