Great and cheap place to stay. Staff only speaks spanish, but its easy to stay there. Easy check in and out, no complications, clean room. For that price it was more than great. Thanks for the cheap and good place to be.

Location of this hotel is great. It's just off Gran Via and is within a short walking distance from most of the tourist spots. There are numerous restaurants, tapas bars and shops all around the area. The price of the room was really good for Central Madrid. We had a small balcony overlooking a busy street, handy if you just wanted to sit and people watch for a while. We also had a small attached bathroom, that we didn't book, which was a nice bonus. On the downside; the street could get very noisy at night, might be a problem if you're a light sleeper, and the toilet smelled pretty bad. The girl on reception didn't speak any English and she wasn't really friendly.

Pros: -The price, as it is quite cheap for a room for two persons. -I've got a double sized bed for the price of a standard one. -You can check out at night, if you have to leave early. - Location, in Gran Via, center of the city. Cons: - There is a lot of noise during the night, as the street gathers some bars and it may be hard to fall asleep. - The customer service could be improved. - The place looks pretty old and dirty (even though the room is ok). Overall, I would only recommend this place if you are looking for something cheap in the center of the city. If you are staying several days in the city and you prefer a confortable place to rest properly, you should book other place.

My room is large, with bathroom, and with little balcony, Tv, little table and two chairs, clean. Bathroom is small, but functional, toalet is little shaking, but no bother me. Bother me the juice machine in the hole, specially early in the morning.. But, location is very good, very close to the city centre, and closer to street Grand Via, just 10m...Near hostel you have shops, restaurants, fast food...

A step between hostal and hotel, this place is just off the main street (Gran Via). The rooms are small offering a couple of single beds or a double and a single for less than many of the places on the same block. Enjoy the convenience of being in the center of Madrid for a fraction of the cost. Note - shared bathrooms and Wi-Fi only accessible from office.

Saggy beds, very unprofessional painting job had just been done, noisy fans, wordless staff, toilet roll not replenished in shared bathrooms. If you are on a very low budget and just want a place to crash after a drunken night out, this might suit you. But if you can afford to pay a bit more then do avoid this place. It's just charmless.

The location is very good, in Gran Via, a very touristy location. The WiFi was quite bad as only 2 of us could connect to it at a time. The air conditioner wasn't functioning properly.

It was an ok (mediocre) option overall. PROS:Located at the centre of the town. Enough shared bathrooms. Cleaning services every day. CONS: old and not renovated building. Ill-equipped rooms with cheap beds. not a shared coffee tea spot at the place. Ugly decoration.
