Great rooftop pool. Nice pool, beautiful people, good music and a general nice, hip ambiance. Gay hotel but hetero-friendly. It seems that people of any gender and sexual orientation seeks out this cool place to have a cool drink, relax in the sun and cool of in the pool. Only downside was: I called ahead to ensure availability but when I came round there were no more available lounge chairs and I had to leave again. 20€ admission for non-guest including towels, sunscreen and one drink seems very fair.

The waiters didn‘t care to serve us at all, so we left. Otherwise, the location looks nice.

Mojito for 13 euros and it was not good and the cup was not added I did not finish it,, today at 2:30 pm

Friendly bar staff, prompt service, comfortable heated pool and seating. Very Instagram-able. Consider a visit on a sunny afternoon.

What a terrible experience!!! From the unfriendly and unnecessary sassy front desk person , to the overcrowded and dirty frat pat terrace , filled with empty beer bottles and filthy tables . Worst roof top terrace location in Madrid .

Super nice bar with friendly staff. Only had about 5 people in when we went and to be honest its quite expensive. Would 100% go again in the summer where I'm sure it would be a different vibe.

We had the rudest and most horrible waiter I can remember. (On more than one day) We were guests of the hotel as well. We complained when checking out. I sent an additional complaint email after we checked out - but nobody had emailed or contacted me back. And that is even worse! So, sorry, Axel Madrid, as much as we like all the axel hotels, to this one we won’t be going back and tell all about it.

Great place with nice views and a small swimming pool. Came here at night and it’s a good and quiet place to have a drink and enjoy a nice moment. Staff is very very friendly and we had the opportunity to meet the director. He was amazing and very caring for us. Definitely deserves a visit on a hot summer day :)
