Amazing beach surrounded by forest. Nice to spend a day with family playing and swimming or to have a walk in the forest!

I think it is the best beach around Riga. For me at least. Quiet. Lovely walk through small hills to get there. Track is wooden. There's a lovely little fresh water canal opening into the sea. The canal has loads of fauna. Interesting stuff to show kids. The only negative is there is no parking near the entrance. Disabled parking is available, otherwise have to park somewhere far away on a street and walk.

One of the best seaside areas in Latvia with amazing views! If you are lucky enough you will get parking just next to it (for about 8 cars) , otherwise other parking is 15 mins walk - there is a big car park next to the train station...

Nice and clean beach. Adorable view opens from the dunes tops. Wooden benches and watching platform are installed on the top of the dunes. Parking is aviable with limited car space up to 5 cars, so possible to park the car near the train station and walk to the sea around 15-20min.

Nice place to watch the sunset. Sometimes there's a problem with parking then need to walk about 1 km till the beach

A very nice beach but it's a real pain to find a car park near the see. The only guaranteed option is to leave the car at the train station and walk 20 minutes to the beach.

A great place to find peace, thanks to a quite "hard to find" location. The entrance to the trail isn't marked in any way. But it's a beautiful scenery when you finally find it.

very peaceful, off the beaten path, not many people. parking area could use repair and asphalting, but then it probably wouldn't be free.

No toilet but near to the forest:) better than Jurmala
