Some time ago I got really lucky deciding to celebrate my Birthday party in cutest place with best kinda Latvian-country style resto-bar Kalnciema Ezītis miglā. I can't say that's the fanciest place you can find, but the if you are low range or middle or even high range person, you will for sure find something in it. The food was just amazing, it was pre-ordered, I did a reservation for my birthday. Yes, it was a little late, but 100% worth to wait. After first 2 beers, bartender offered us some special cocktails and super tasty 5 metrs of shots. That crazy dude gave us the best vibe and did his job on 1000%, the effort he put's in it is just amazing. That's how it should be, every cent worth it. Totally recommend this place for any event, family meeting, friends meeting or solo visit, because bartender's will always have a chat with you if you want. Special thanks to both blond 👱‍♂️ 👱 bartenders and one black hair cute girl in glasses for amazing service and professional work. Like and share for sure!!! P.S. - they even gave us some table games and allowed us to put a song we love. And place is very affordable!!!

You can hit but not miss with "Hedgehog in fog". It is the classic spot to go in Riga city. When you are not sure what to do, or where to go, just come to hedgehog. There are multiple locations, and Kalnciema street location is one of the latest additions to this brand's chain. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is the following: one time they brought regular pizza, instead of vegan, as per order. I have a food allergy. They refused to bring what I'd originally ordered and we had to leave with a sour taste in my mouth. Maybe make sure they get your order right a 100%.

Interesting place in the cute yard with two old trams. The food was good, the service could be better. Good choice of national beers. If the trams are closed - you can ask to open them for the photos. Near to Kalnciema quarter - you can stop after visiting it and the market.

Nice place for fast food, snacks and/or drinks. Service is quite nice. Atmosphere is good. Food is good too - price-quality ratio is good. Location is very good - close to the city centre, close to public transport and still reachable also on foot and by car too. A place that is very easy to find.

Nice place with interesting interior and tram yard. They work till 01:00 which is quite unusual for Riga and was a huge plus for our company. The drinks and snacks plates were fine, but We could not order some options because they ran out of ice-cream and mint (!). That’s a bit strange for a bar. 😅 Also, the staff are a bit slow and there are always big queues there. However, it is still a good option for night time visitors. :)

Nice atmosphere, tasty drinks, only downside is the music can be a little too loud depending on where you sit. The second floor was shut unfortunately so there weren’t that many tables free. Big backyard with separate tables for smokers.

Yesterday had the worst chinken burger ever experienced :( Meat felt like it was left out to dry for a day. Was not able to take a bite. Very sad. Not the good memories i had about ezitis.

The food was ready relatively fast, but was brought to us at diferent times (we were 5 people and there were around 4 minutes waiting time from the first persons food to be brought, to the last person). The food was good for the price. A few of the other customers were a bit drunk, but that's to be expected.

Been here a few times, and the money/value ratio is good. The staff is friendly, and of there's a long wait for the food they've told it before we've ordered so we've had the option to choose whether to stay and wait or go somewhere else. The only minus is that the music is systematically very loud. For a nightclub I could understand it, but not for a dine-in bar, because I go there to socialize. And if I can't hear what people are saying then it negates the idea of socializing. They will turn the music down though if you ask them. But having to ask for it every time seems taxing

The place looks really cool, it’s alternative design is really cool. The food was really good and delicious. There were some problems, but staff was really helpful and we easily fixed everything. Really cool staff, they don’t make homemade lemonades, but were willing to make a non alcoholic cocktail which was very delicious. I was amazed by how delicious were vegan and vegetarian options. Would highly recommend this place!
