It was the first butterfly house we visit in our life and the first opinion was that it is too small and old, but we saw a lot of butterflies inside. Different colors and sizes. After this butterfly house we are visited other in different European cities which was bigger and more expensive, but, all those other houses have only more space, but no more butterflies, even less that this butterfly house in Latvia. Recommended! P.S. time of our visit was end of July.

We loved it. The host was marvelous - exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, lively and engaging. Told us a lot about butterflies, their lifecycle, habits and hardships. Recommend to drop by, maybe more fun for nature loving adults than children. Go and see it, they reopen around Easter. ❤️🦋🐢

Visited this place after having a walk around the amazing Tervetes park. I must say that it has more potentional, but in the same time I am not saying it was bad! I think it is still great fun for the kids to see but it could be little bit cleaner inside.

Amazing variety of butterflies. It's in the title. Big, small, brown, blue, red and green - virtually any colour. Large parking lot. There's bathroom available. Coffee and chocolate dispenser.

The place is superb! Do recommend to go! The guy behind the counter was the owner of the place, seemed very enthusiastic.

Kids loved it and adults as well. Butterflies are not the only exotic animals, they are accompanied by water turtles, canary, geckos and few others.

Very nice place to see and learn about butterflies. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Butterflies are just as beautiful as they are. I just imagine, that the butterflies would like to have some more plants and some more space for living.

Not big place, but you cannot expect making tropic climate in such a cold climate zone :) I was amazed to see so many and big butterflies!

Great for seeing some exotic butterflies and a few birds! The place is quite small but houses many different species of butterfly ranging from small colourful ones to huge scary ones. However, I dont see a point to return after being there once, nothing really changes besides seeing butterflies being born or some die.
