Horrible service. I was staying close at the Rixwell Old Palace Hotel. Parking attendant asked me 30 euros for 24/hrs. Paid the money and parked the car. Went to check in at the hotel where I was told it should be 15 euros for the hotel quests. Was told to show my room card at the parking lot. They parking attendant laughed and said he doesn't care because I didn't tell I was from hotel 5 minutes earlier. I politely explained the situation to him again and then back at the hotel. They receptionist was very nice at the hotel, but her manager said that although this parking facility is the partner of Rixwell Old Palace hotel they won't do anything to solve my problem. If you stay at a hotel in the old town be sure to ask the hotel first how much you should pay, otherwise they might try to rip you off.

We got told that the parking would cost 15e/day, but when we went there it was 20e/day and I think it was only because we were Finnish tourists. Staff wasn't so kind and overall pretty bad experience but parking worked, there was some other places maybe even bit cheaper, I recommend to go somewhere else.

Scammers recommend by Wellton Centrum 4star hotel( on Google maps they say they have free parking, which is a lie) We were told by the hotel that the parking was 15€ with their partner, but upon arrival the very rude staff said it is 40€. And shouting at us to go away and they didn’t care about which hotel we came from.

I paid 30eur for 24h parking, that's absolutely too mach. Even there was no English price list on the entry so maybe I was cheated on the price because I didn't understand Latvian. Also the worker who met us on the arrival was very angry because I didn't find my parking space on the first attempt. I parked where he showed me, when we were leaving the lot he started rumbling and shouting to move my car to another parking space number xx. But parking spaces aren't even numbered.. so whatever. There are not much parking options so plan your parking before arriving and better chose other one. Riga is worth to visit.

I was sure I would give this place 1 star rating, but they seem to have improved. We booked a hotel close to this parking spot. We parked here before going to the hotel. 40 euros for 1 day. If I went to the hotel first, it would have been 15 euros for 1day. So ALWAYS go to your hotel first and ask them about parking. We found out it should be 15€ at the reception, but they said we would not be able to get the money back since the guy that owns the parking is stubborn. We went back to the parking and asked if we could make the parking we had paid for to last us for 2 days instead of 1 since we would have gotten it for 15€ for one day otherwise. He agreed. I was still not happy, since we still "lost" 10€. However the day we were going to leave, our parking only lasted till 4pm, but we were going to leave at 7pm. So we tried to find cheaper parking for the last 3 hours, but the prices in Riga in mid July are expensive. So we did not find any cheaper parking than the one we were already at. There were some small parking places with lower prices but they were very small and had no spots left. They were not that much cheaper either. So we talked to the guys that worked here and they fixed us 3hours for 9€ instead of 12€. The reason for 3stars, instead of 1 is that they tried to reason a little(not much). However, it was after we checked the parking around us that we realised the price was the same or more expensive. If you have a hotel close by, it is also a lot cheaper. The cars are also reasonably safe since they have a guard there 24/7.

I left my car there at 9pm . I paid 15 Eur for 24h . The next day I needed to take some stuff from my car , it was 2 pm . When I got there , there was already another man working , and he said it's time for me to leave , because my parking time is till 2 pm . Very disappointed ..

Same as everyone else. The attendant was awful. He wouldn't let us park, despite many empty spaces, since we were sent there by a hotel with a supposed "partnership" to let us park for 15EUR/night instead of 40EUR. When my wife approached to show him the voucher from the hotel, he approached her waving his hands aggressively and yelling "Leave!" and "All reserved!".

Make sure you retain the piece of paper they give you when you drive in. Otherwise they will pretend they have no knowledge of you paying and will charge you again. And old russian guy will give try to tell you that you were supposed to know to retain it, although the previous guy does not warn you.

Horrible place. Extremely rude and unfriendly staff, not welcoming at all, especially considering that this is where many tourists will stay. Not a great first impression of service in Riga. There’s a much better place not too far, and much cheaper too.

Situation is still same as previous comments say. Check in before and then park. Otherwise you will pay double (30-40 eur per day). With hotel check it will be 15-20 per day. If you need to park for several days then in may be worth parking in the streets on the opposite side of the river for free :)
