My son and I came down to Pompano Beach for the holidays to get Open Water Scuba Certified and we couldn't have picked a better place to learn than with Tim from Scuba Dive It. From the very beginning we were made to feel welcome and well taken care of. And although I was quite apprehensive about the process, Tim explained all the steps even before we even came to Pompano Beach in a very chill, easy kind of relaxed way that took away a lot of my apprehension. He was very patient and explained the equipment and processes well and made sure we all understood the different skills we needed to master. He definitely took his time that everyone in our group was on the same page before we started to practice and also during our practice dives. During our training great care was taken care to make sure we understood what we had to do, with a very large emphasis on safety. During our first dive in the open water ocean to the shipwreck Okinawa I was extremely apprehensive and sea-sick but Tim again ensured that my son and I were safe and enjoyed ourselves, whileas also making sure we stayed safe. Tim also made sure to document our dives with pictures and also made sure the group stayed together so nobody got lost- very important for first divers who are still getting used to the underwater world and don't quite yet know how to orient ourselves. The Dive Shop itself is very neat and the equipment is well maintained. Overall if you are looking to get certified or trying to find a diving home in or around Pompano Beach, this is your place to go!

From the moment that I stepped into the dive shop on vacation in the Florida keys...where I first met Kurt, I knew that this would be an amazing experience! Kurt's knowledge of diving and safety is a great comfort to me - someone who dives less regularly than they would like - and it wasn't long before we kept returning each year from Canada to dive with Kurt. I was taking my 11 year old daughter for her first ocean dive (my son had been once before) and she was understandably nervous. Kurt is ultra experienced and friendly to interact with. I was scheduled for "refresher course" and 2-tank dives; pre-paid in August 2023 for December 8th 2023...dangerous rip tides and currents prevented any Scuba Diving during my week vacation 😢 Kurt and I will complete the review and dives during my return trip to Pompano Beach ⛱️ I appreciated the ability to remain "paid on books" for services to be rendered by Kurt during next visit 👍

We came from Arkansas. When I scheduled my original dive trips, Kurt stayed on the phone with me and walked me thru the whole process. We spoke for around 45 minutes. Once we got to Florida, Tim has met us at the dock everyday. He went out with us and treated us just like family. Kurt is a great guy, super nice, very knowledgeable!! Made the whole scuba cert process easy. Gear & equipment he sells is high quality and very competitively priced, often has special packages at discounted prices. He helped us out on customizing our BCs and has bailed us out a few times when we needed tanks at the last min. Highly recommend!! Thanks again, Kurt!!

If you want to be treated like family and get the best experience for your time and money. This shop is a MUST visit. Not just for the dive trips but the equipment in store is wonderful and they don't beat around the bush with what is going to be the best for what they know you are looking for. Had a great experience with these guys! Got my Nitrox certification with them and Kurt was so wonderful in answering all my questions with the education and making sure I fully understood what I was learning. Tim was great in making sure my practical experience was one of the best. Got more education through this shop than any other I have ever gotten a certification through and will be coming back for future certifications and dive trips! Next stop Master Diver! I had the pleasure of getting my open water certification with Kurt, and it was hands down a fantastic experience through, and through. My wife, Dorothy and I met Kurt many years ago when doing our open water certification. And from the moment we met him we all clicked. It was like we'd known him forever. Kurt's kind and easy going nature is so awesome but the most incredible thing for us was his ability to set you at ease and make you feel safe. His knowledge is deep and his experience speaks for itself. We especially enjoyed his diving stories. Be sure to ask him about his time treasure hunting in the Philippines! For a new diver there is a lot to understand and learn and it means everything to have a drive master who connects with you. Someone who can sense when you have a question or need help. Kurt has an uncanny ability to do this and he's always one step ahead, in a good way. Whenever we think of diving we always think of Kurt. We know the next time we meet up with him it will be like no time has passed. He's is a great dive master and an even better friend. And if you want to experience life below the waves there's no one better to experience it with!

I couldn't recommend Tim more for an amazing diving experience! My 12-year-old daughter and I are fairly new divers. Any nerves I had were quickly put to the side under the thoughtful and expert guiding from Tim and Teriq. We spent the morning on two-tank dive to see the beautiful reefs and the Copenhagen wreck just off the coast. Tim pointed out all kinds of creatures under the water and let my daughter use his camera to snap loads of underwater pictures. It was such a great experience and we're still talking about it with friends and family days later. Kurt was amazing with logistics and helping me decide which dive to take and what would fit with our schedule and needs. We will definitely dive with Scuba Dive It when we're back! I Heard about this shop through a friend but I had NO IDEA what I was in for... For starters Kurt was super helpful when it came to figuring out a plan that fit my schedule. I wanted to get my advanced without having any certifications and do it in 1 week. Not only did I get it done 5 days he also helped me figure out the most affordable way to do it which I really appreciated. As for my instructor and my lessons Tim was a PHENOMENAL, I couldn't have asked for a better instructor! He was great at communicating and super patient when it came to skills I was having trouble with, most importantly he made me feel very safe and always checked to see how I was feeling. We also dived some awesome sites and I had a lot of fun throughout the whole experience. Though they're a business the whole time it felt like I was diving with a friend. If you're thinking about booking with them I 100% recommend it!
