This is an unsolicited review; I had to write it because how often is your experience that great at a dentist that you feel compelled to leave a review? They answer the phone when you call. They are incredibly friendly. Your appointment time is your actual appointment time; you don’t wait 30 minutes once you get there. It is very well run with all the staff coordinating extremely well with one another — it’s impressive to watch the way patients get taken care of and transitioned from one team member to the other to handle cleaning, work, follow ups, etc. The office is attractive and clean and the technology new. If you’re looking for a dentist — you won’t be disappointed.

I just want to tell everyone how wonderful & professional this office is!!! Everyone is so Happy & Friendly & make you feel so Comfortable!!! Thank Goodness Sage Dental decided to not accept my insurance & my insurance company recommended Island City Smiles & Dr Stephen Scoglio!!! He’s Wonderful along with Sandy, Ana, Susan, Lisa & the Entire Staff!!! I highly recommended Dr Scoglio & this office!!!

However, it became clear that Island City Smiles prioritizes financial gain over patient care. Always a great experience at Island City Smiles. From The moment you walk in you are treated like a VIP. The staff in the office, the manager, Chris- my favorite hygienist, and Dr. Werner are always extremely attentive and professional. I enjoyed my experience so much in the past - I now go every three months rather than every six months, Chris always has something new to tell me and it always benefits me greatly. Best dentist in town!

This was my first visit to Island City Smiles. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and welcoming, from the warm greeting when I entered to the wave goodbye when I left. Every procedure was thoroughly explained, all my questions were answered, the hygienist Lisa gave me practical suggestions to improve my oral health. Great visit,

Been with this dentist office for years. Received an email reminding me that my dental benefits were running out and to call for an appointment before the end of the year. Called and talked to Susan who was very nice. I asked if they had any Friday appointments. She advised they are closed on Fridays but could fit me in on Thursday at 10am. Advised I couldn’t make that appointment but we could push to December if that’s easier. She responded that they are completely booked until March (five months from now yet they send me an email every two months to request an appointment). I responded that I will just have to switch to another dentist and she said, “I understand. Have a good night.” CAN YOU IMAGINE? I am flabbergasted. How disappointing.

I have a pleasant experience! Susan is always fantastic and the Oral Hygienist, Lisa was fabulous. Thank you ladies for such great service!

Made a new patient appointment 3 weeks ago for a cleaning and when I get there they tell me is not for a cleaning is just for an evaluation and X-rays. Allegedly they do an exam and then you have to come back another day for a cleaning. Make it make sense. Why can they do it all in one visit no one knows. I decided to find another dentist and left. So disappointed. What a waste of my morning and a babysitter. If they would had told me this when I was making the appointment I would have found another provider.
