Been going to that establishment for a number of yrs.This place has gone to the dogs... literally. The customer service and quality food isn't what it used to be. The rice, beans (though water down) was tasty. The boiled yucca was covered with raw onions and was so hard wasn't sure if it was cooked for consumption. The pepper steak was just awful. It literally felt like eating rice with soy sauce. I asked for my steak medium it was burnt crispy and BTW the "pepper steak" had only 2 pieces of limp bell peppers. I asked the waiter for my check and told him about the steak. I've been up since 4am this is my first meal I'll eat the rice and beans I was starving !!!! In a very defensive way the manager came up to my table telling me I understand you don't like the food. You don't have to pay you can leave the food and go. I WAS SHOCKED. The waiter must have told him which was fine but first off not the way you speak to a customer and who told you I wanted something for free? I had already had my card on top of the bill for the waiter and offeredto buy him the same meal so he can taste it and see how awfulit was. Disgusting service and awful pepper steak !!!! Would not ever go there again to many options in town.

Okay I love Cuban food and this is some of the best Vaca Frita I have ever had as was the Caldo Gallego. I am including a picture of the receipt. We shared a meal and I had a bowl of the soup as well got a Corti Dito and Flan to go. Great food and service and more than reasonable

Delicious food and large portions. Great pricing as well. Went here twice during my 10 day visit to Fort Lauderdale. Service a bit slow, took awhile to get our drinks the second visit.

I hosted a Meetup Dinner at Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine last night. It was large party of 35 and I was impressed with the total service we received. Guest were seated quickly and drink orders were taken. Soon after food orders. The menu offers a variety of food and the waitstaff was courteous and friendly answering questions and making possible suggestions when asked. The food arrived much quicker than I had expected. Service was prompt and for party of this size I found the quality of service and food to be exceptional. We were very surprised at how large the portions were and many took food home. Everyone in my party seem to be happy with their choice! Thanks for a great evening of great Cuban food and conversations.

Our meal was incredible, tasty, authentic and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the fried fish filet and/or the churrasco . The fish was seasoned and lightly dusted with flour. The steak was very tender.

THE WORST PLACE EVER! STAFF UNKNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE MENU. I ORDERED SOMETHING FROM THE KIDS MENU AND I WAS ASKED TO ORDER SOMETHING ELSE BECAUSE MY ORIGINAL CHOICE TOOK TO LONG TO MAKE. SO I ORDER SOMETHING ELSE, THE FOOD COMES OUT AND IT ALL HAPPENED TO BE OVER COOKED AND EVEN WORST UNDER COOKED. OUR DRINKS MIGHT AS WELL BEEN FROM THE VENDING MACHINE NEXT DOOR. I ASKED FOR SOME PINEAPPLE JUICE AND GOT PINEAPPLE SODA FROM A CAN. MY CUBANO SANDWICH WAS ORDERED WITHOUT PICKLES AND GUESS WHAT IT HAD IN IT. THEN IT WASN’T PRESSED IN THE PANINI.

I ordered a lemonade and Vacas Fritas. The service was remarkably fast, and the meat was perfectly cooked, with a slightly crunchy texture. Mixing the rice, beans, onion and meat made a very satisfying and savory meal. If I came back I'd probably order a mojito or piña colada. Everything here is great I'm sure, whether you're into seafood, empanadas, sandwiches, steaks or anything else Cuban.

Very good food and good portions! The entire family was very impressed with the food and great service! We STUFFED ourselves to the end topping it all of with some great desserts!

Food was really good. We arrived there at 21:18 and they close at 22. Instead of telling us they won’t take any orders, they took the orders and they rush us to leave as soon as possible because they want to leave. Besides that we ordered something with chicken and we got something with meat. This was the first time that we go to a cuban restaurant and it was a bad experience.

Great lunch place! You get large servings and you have to try their Cuban Sandwich!

This is a family owned Cuban restaurant. We have been coming to this place every time we are in the area for last 20 years. They kept their commitment to authentic Cuban food and high standards service. Our favorite is the bean soup and yucca. Coffee is amazing.

The food was great. We went for my birthday and me and my family enjoyed ourselves. We had enough for leftovers the next day.

Kind, attentive service. Great food. We ordered the Las Vegas combination for the two of us ladies to share and it was plenty of food. Granted, it was the first time we've had Cuban cuisine, but we couldn't imagine it being much better than this. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Quite enough to sit, talk, and enjoy each other's company at dinner time. My only regret is that I didn't order a cocktail. They look delicious.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I went in for lunch, accompanied by my service dog, and was denied access by a staff member and the manager Elizabeth. They repeatedly asked me for “service dog registration” and I calmly and politely explained that a service dog is not required to be registered (and that in fact there is no such thing as an official service dog registry) and that I could not produce the documentation that they wanted. When I attempted to show them the ADA business brief they interrupted me, dismissed me, and refused to allow me into the restaurant. The manager, Elizabeth, refused to listen to me and began to take phone calls as I was in the middle of speaking to her. They refused me and my service dog access in a way that was unlawful and embarrassing. I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant and will not be recommending, especially not to anyone that has a disability and requires special accommodations. This was especially upsetting because I have ordered takeout many many times and have given this restaurant a lot of business. Avoid this place.

Fresh, delicious, huge servings. Yucca, navy bean soup and plantains were simply the most flavorful. Even the side of Broccoli and carrots was a generous portion, very fresh and cooked to perfection.

I waited over 40 mins to get my food, while some guy that can in 30 mins after me and ordered the same lunch special as me, got his food the same time I got mine. To add insult to injury the guys portion was more then twice mine. I don't know if it was because my server Diosmani was new or not, but they also gave me all my food in Togo container's when I only ordered empanadas to go.

I love Las Vegas rest. I gave them 4 because my waiter was a little serious, I like friendly waiters. And I dine in, and I also ordered take out. I was missing the bread when I got home. But overall the food and service is fantastic!

Very good food at a fair price!

My husband and I ate dinner at Las Vegas in Ft. Lauderdale. Our experience was not a pleasant one. The food was a bit salty and greasy and warm not hot. The waiter was constantly asking us for the order. Felt rushed. The waiter gave us the check and he just stood there waiting for the payment. It was early around 5:30 on Sunday afternoon. The place was not even half full. No reason to be in a rush. I am a Cuban American and know the taste and flavors of Cuban cuisine. This was not what I expected. Later that night both of us were in the toilet and with stomach cramps. This is the first time this has happened to us. This will be the last time we ever go to this place. There are three other locations in Broward which I will avoid. Stay away don’t waste your health and your money.

I had the opportunity to try some great Cuban cuisine while growing up in Miami. I was lucky enough to have friends with Cuban grandmothers and moms who cooked delicious meals. I also visited many Cuban restaurants where the prices were half of what they are at this place. Unfortunately, I found the food at this place to be dry, over-salted and just plain. In my opinion, Las Vegas in Miami is certainly better. I was very disappointed with my experience and would advise others to avoid it.

Ok, now listen the food was amazing for the most part. The service not so much. The crew with us messed up on the check. Adding about $18-20. They didn’t take it out. So they wanted to cheat the waitress on her tip. Which ain’t cool. It’s the restaurants fault and it could have been easily fixed. No need to cheat anyone out of a tip or their pay. It’s a simple overcharge on the check that was caught. Could have been taken out easily. But no.

WOW! Fantastic authentic Cuban food. Best Cuban food we've ever had from a restaurant! We eat here and only here whenever we are in the area. The service is friendly and fast. The prices are reasonable. Keep doing what you do Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine. Thank you!

I ordered chickens soup. What it came was greasy chicken broth with two slices of carrot and a 1 piece of pulled chicken less than 1”. Do not recommend

Can't really review the food because we didn't have any. Walked in and the hostess seated us. 15 minutes later, still no waiter or waitress. Other patrons walked in, were seated, and then got to order (they ordered immediately, perhaps they knew something). We were still sitting there waiting. Service staff seemed to just be socializing with each other. 20 minutes after entering, we just walked out. Unbelievably pathetic service. Cannot recommend at all.

On father day I caterer food from Las Vegas restaurant oakland park blvd, Fort Lauderdale, I ordered on line, they sent me an email stating that my order did not go through but they took the money and they will return it in a few minutes, we'll I never got my money, few days later i went to Las Vegas, they told me that that also happen to other people. The lady took my name and phone number never heard from her for two days , today my husband calls back she told him to dispute the charges through the bank, not a good place to do business, I will never again go to Las Vegas Restaurant.

The wait staff was very warm and friendly. The food was amazing and I felt at home the whole time. It reminded me a lot of my abuela's house. The prices are very reasonable, for such awesome food.

Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine is a very nice place, the staff is really nice, the food is amazing, the price a little high and they need to work in the decoration. It’s the kind of places to return!!!
