I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here. Everyone is so friendly and attentive, the service is quick, the food is plentiful, and the beer is out of this world. My husband and I enjoy coming here during the daytime with our little one and they are kid friendly. We take him to the back area where he can play. There’s not many places that have the patience for a toddler running around. They have a flight of 5 pre chosen beers for $10 or you can choose your own for $12. There’s a big food menu especially for a brewery. You really can’t go wrong at this place.

The Funky Buddha is an Oakland Park institution that seems to have improved over time. The micro brews made there are very good. It is a fun place to visit and you can have a sample. The beer pretzel is also a star in itself and tastes so fresh. Staff are knowledgeable and the entire experience is great.

So happy that this brewery is still making tons of great beers. It’s perfect for visiting to have some bar food and beers or for the educational brewery tours. It’s pretty family friendly, thought it’s only open to guests who are 21+ after 8pm. There’s a lot of covered outdoor seating as well. There are a few pinball machines in the back now, which is a big bonus!

Larger interior atmosphere, attentive staff and a relaxed feel. Separate game room and some outside seating. Good parking across the street. Beer selection is very good and always the right temperature.

Sipping on Sunshine at Funky Buddha Brewery, Fort Lauderdale Nestled in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Funky Buddha Brewery is a beacon for beer aficionados and casual sippers alike. This isn't just a brewery; it's a pilgrimage site for those in pursuit of hoppy happiness and malty enlightenment. With five unique beers brewed in-house, each visit feels like an exclusive backstage pass to the best show in town. First off, the beers – oh, the beers! Each one is a testament to Funky Buddha's craft, creativity, and passion. From the robust richness of their stouts to the crisp and refreshing lagers, there's a brew for every palate. The flight of five allows you to embark on a flavorful journey, sampling the best of what this brewery has to offer, without ever leaving your barstool. But what truly sets Funky Buddha apart isn't just the liquid gold they serve; it's the golden vibe that permeates the place. The atmosphere here is as inviting as a Florida beachside bonfire. It's a spot where the beer is cold but the welcome is warm, where every staff member treats you not just as a customer, but as a long-lost friend finally come home. The taproom itself is a funky fusion of industrial chic and laid-back lounge, with ample space to gather with friends or cozy up in a corner for some people-watching. Whether you're here to cheer on your favorite team, enjoy some live music, or simply bask in the bustling ambiance, Funky Buddha caters to all. And let's not forget the friendly personnel, who are as knowledgeable about their craft as they are eager to share it. They don't just serve you; they guide you through your tasting experience, offering insights and stories behind each beer that make every sip a little more special. In conclusion, Funky Buddha Brewery is more than just a place to grab a drink; it's a destination that brews joy, camaraderie, and, of course, fantastic beer. Whether you're a local or just passing through Fort Lauderdale, make sure to stop by and raise a glass. Here's to good beers, great times, and the Funky Buddha experience – where every visit is a reminder that life, like beer, is meant to be savored.

Gonna go with 5 stars here. Love the batch beers, had an El Camino and it was excellent. Didn't try the food menu but overall the staff is well trained, plenty of room here inside and out and will be back for the beer!

Some of the best beer in the state and definitely a bucket list brewery visit for this guy. If management is reading, really amazing facility and your beer is just terrific, but your service at the bar is ATROCIOUS. You still get 5 stars, because of the product, now back it up with people who love your brand and your customers as much as I do. Sincerely, Me.

Held a baby sprinkle here. Service was amazing. Our Server Galvin did such a great job taking care of our 30+ guests. Tap Room Manager David was also so helpful! Made the experience such a positive one. Everyone had a great time. He gave us all of the extra assistance we required with extra food and set up of party area. Checked in wirh me regularly to make sure everything was covered.

Loved it. Great selection of Beers, ales and stouts. Friendly staff. Can sit inside or out. Had a flight to start with, then went with the Tropical Floridian (which you can't get in stores). Tropical Floridian is delightful. RECOMMEND

Had a Great Time here thanks to Frank! He gave us an incredibly informative and entertaining tour of their brewery! This was our 1st time here and it happened to be during Octoberfest.! The food is great and the environment is great too. personally I'm not much of a beer drinker and they have a hard cider I could drink all day. overall Frank made us feel like his favorite tour of the day 10/10 would recommend and visit again!

A wide variety of beers! They have Wheat ales, IPA’s Porters Stouts, Ales and Lagers, sours and limited releases. I tried a flight. They also serve food. Huge screens to catch your favorite game. They also offer tours of their facility! I was impressed with their food choices too. I loved their wings!

My friend and I came here a few nights ago. We had a great experience. My friend never had any funky Buddha before so he ordered a flight of beers to sample a variety of different choices. He seemed to enjoy them all. I ordered the hop gun and it was very nice. We also ordered a smashed burger which was great and a pretzel which was okay. There was plenty of parking around and lots of seating. We went during a happy hour so I think one of our beers was free with buying a burger.

I’ve been to Funky Buddha multiple times. It’s a nice space for some great beers to which they have a large variety. They also have an extensive cocktail menu. The food here is equally as great. They also put on many of the games. Whether you’re a Dolphins, Heat or Panthers fan you’ll be able to catch it over here. Make sure to grab a seat early though, it can get filled up.

We had our holiday party here and it was great! They have a private room and it provided privacy. The sliders, chicken wings and pretzel bar were amazing! Their beers are always excellent! Great music, great service and company. I recommend booking them for parties or just go to have a good time. There’s plenty of free parking and easy access. They also have tours of the Brewery and is very nice and interesting.

Having had Funky Buddha beer before, I was excited and recommended to my family we visit since we’re in town. Sadly, I’m disappointed. - Service was incredibly slow. A member of my party had to retrieve menus. - My wife attempted to order 2 different cocktails. They were out of ingredients for both. - Barrel-aged tasters are an extra dollar. That’s cool, but then fill up the taster since you charge extra. - Wife specially ordered sauce on the side for her sandwich. Came sauced. To the server’s credit, she comped the burger (hence the second star). 3 of 4 orders at our table were wrong to various degrees. - had to retrieve own silverware. - an obviously non-service dog in the brewery/restaurant at the table next to us. I really wanted to like this place better. The beer was on the high end of good. Since experience tends to drive enjoyment, maybe the beer is actually better but I’m biased by the rest of our visit. The space is great. Could be much better, but they’re busy enough that maybe it doesn’t matter.

Visiting from the UK to attend a wonderful wedding here on Saturday. An amazing atmosphere the staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was excellent and the beer was so good. Would definitely recommend this venue for those special events 😀❤️ How about thinking about a tasting notes board for the beer behind the bar 😬😀 Thanks to all the waiting / bar staff and organisers for making the special day go smoothly and for their hard work 😀

Wife and I met our daughter and husband for lunch today. Plenty of parking nearby and restaurant was very clean. Servers were very attentive and eager to answer our questions about the different beers on tap. I got the flight of beers where you choose the beers and enjoyed 4 out of 5 of them. My daughter got the flight of pre chosen beers and enjoyed 4 out of five as well. All of our food was plentiful and flavorful. I got the Deviled Eggs (spicy) and Brewers Board, wife got the chopped wedge ( not a wedge of lettuce was regular salad), daughter got Folded Greek ( very large), Son-In -Law got the burger and he enjoyed it as well. Our table shared and enjoyed an order of Funky Fries Overall worth the drive : )

Awesome beer! The place offers not only a great variety of craft beers, also food. They have menu for vegetarians too. In my case I had the eggplant fríes and omg that it’s a must try. The staff is friendly and the food comes out in minutes. Great place to go with friends!

Really, really good beer. Even though I have tried their beer, I've never been to the actual brewery location. Very nice and the food offered is really good too. The Bison Sliders were great and the Maple Candied Bacon, DA BOMB!

I've always loved the beer, so I was very excited to visit the brewery. Everyone loved their food and the tap selection was great.

Nice brewery that actually serves food as well. I'm a fan of their lager selection. I thought the staff were pretty good. Polite, professional, efficient. They were definitely weighed down with orders given we went during peak time. I think on weeknights, the atmosphere would be much more casual than on the Saturday night we visited on. Kudos to them for keeping up. If I need a brewery that will also give opportunities for decent food, Funky Buddha's got my vote. Their proximity to other things to do nearby is great as well.

Hands down my favorite place in town! My entire family has been coming here for years. We love the staff, they're all always very welcoming. Chef Jeff with his delicious high-end craft pub food, beast in the kitchen. And of course, the beers are amazing. Many beers raised here, and equally at home. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Funky Buddha Brewing and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. I decided to try their flight, and let me just say, every single beer was nothing short of delicious. One standout for me was their Confetti Cuddles, a beer with a whopping 14.3 IBUs. The flavors were perfectly balanced, leaving me craving for more with each sip. It was simply outstanding. But the surprises didn't stop there. I also decided to try their cocktail, Split Decision, and boy was it a winner! A refreshing take on a Margarita, this drink had me hooked from the first sip. The flavors were perfectly blended, creating a tantalizing experience for my taste buds. To accompany my drinks, I ordered the wings with the sweet and spicy dry rub, as well as the funky fries. Both dishes were out of this world! The wings were perfectly cooked, with a delightful balance of sweetness and spiciness. And the funky fries? They were simply amazing. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with flavor that left me wanting more. Throughout my visit, Manny, our bartender, was an absolute gem. He was fun, attentive, and clearly passionate about his craft. He made our experience even more enjoyable with his friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the beers and cocktails on offer. Manny truly elevated our visit to Funky Buddha. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about Funky Buddha Brewing. It's a place that I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in town. The quality of their beer, the creativity of their cocktails, and the exceptional service make it a must-visit for any beer enthusiast. If you're looking for a fun and flavorful experience, look no further than Funky Buddha Brewing. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I rate my experience a 4.5. Visited Sunday 9/18/22 looking for a place to watch the NFL games, and i was not disappointed. Located by the train tracks, parking all around. Offers outside, and inside service. Good ambiance, staff was very friendly and attentive. Cool decor with a main dining and beer bar service offering a great variety of beers, a few selected wines, and a friendly menu for both protein eaters, and vegetarians. They also have a play room in the back that has cornhole, basketball, and plenty of open space to watch games. Sat at the bar, and considering it was busy the attention never lacked. Ordered the hummus app with warmed pita bread, carrots, celery, delicious. Tried the eggplant french fries with a feta cheese based sauce i was pleasantly surprised with the taste and texture. The outside felt like a mozzarella stick but tastier. For my main plate i ordered a grilled chicken sandwich hot, juicy, tender with small potatoe salad . Unfortunately there was no dessert available because it doesn't sell according to the staff. The other wrinkle in this experience is that it didn't offer liquor at all for cocktails etc, however i would comeback!! Service second to none. Excellent job!

This place is large and roomy, but in a way it lacks a bit of personality; it’s okay, let’s say and definitely a good place to try some non-commercial beer. Talking about beer, there’s a lot of choices and samplers are available. I really liked the Hop Gun and the Gloves Off, but like I said, there’s plenty for any taste. The only thing and I don’t know if it was a particular day, beers were a bit warm. I don’t need frozen beers, but they should have more chilled. Anyway, all good on the beer front; service on the other hand was not there. Our waitress, before disappearing and spend a good 30 minutes chit chatting with a co-worker, told us “here you can order to any waiter, don’t need to wait for yours”. That’s all good, as long as there is a waiter going around the table. We didn’t try food, so nothing to say on that. Let’s say that I could go there again, actually I will because I am curious to see if the beer temperature was an issue of that day. As for service, there is a bit of confusion here between “relaxed” and “nowhere to be found”.

Great beer and really good food, I had the salmon BLT, and we also had the veggie burger. Both excellent. The service is friendly and the vibe is fun and relaxed.

Overall, our dining experience was positive. We have been there a few times, when we visit Fort Lauderdale and Oakland Park. The beer is good, and the food has been consistently good. If I could give this place a 4 1/2 out of five, I would do this. I would like to have seen a little more staff interaction with the patrons.

Great food and service I tried the Nashville chicken sandwich it was delicious even though they forgot to add the coleslaw and I also ordered the custom blend burger which was delicious. I highly recommend this place, I’ll Be going back soon.

Large venue, with popular beers. Exciting and unique limited releases- when we visited, there was over 8 different pie inspired beers to try! The food is all good, our table loved the Cuban and pretzel, and the salad was tasty. The menu lacks a lot of vegetarian options outside of appetizers- only a vegetarian burger and salads; but that can be normal for the area. The service was not good. Even when the restaurant was less busy, it took over 40 minutes and some rude waving on our part to get another drink. I think some of the staff were having a difficult night, but we saw tables around us get attention several times over while we tried to flag down service. No one was rude to us, they were knowledgeable and friendly but maybe need an adjustment in the way they serve tables (any waiter can serve anywhere). We wanted to buy some merchandise on the way out- really nice merchandise counter with all sorts of vibrant accessories and shirts- but felt like we wouldn’t be able to get any bell so just left in the end. We’ll probably visit again and give it another chance for the good food and beer, but even though the place was half full maybe we would only come on weekday.

Amazing experience. Came here with my son for a bite to eat and was not disappointed. The Cubano sandwich with sweet potato chips was on point. The beer selection is heavily loaded with amazing flavors and a wide variety. If you love beer and enjoy good food and service, come down.
