I
had
sky
high
expectations
for
this
place,
based
not
only
on
good
online
reviews,
but
also
a
friend’s
recommendation.
Expectations
were
not
met.
It
wasn’t
bad.
The
food
just
didn’t
rise
above
average,
and
for
these
prices,
middle-of-the-road
3-stars
is
real.
The
edamame
should
have
been
served
hotter
than
it
was,
but
the
fried
gyoza
was
cooked
to
perfection
(I
suspect
they
held
the
edamame
while
the
gyoza
cooked,
allowing
it
to
cool
too
much).
The
rolls
were
on
par
with
what
you’d
get
from
a
nice
grocery
store,
but
at
$20
(or
as
high
as
$30)
per
specialty
roll,
I
want
something
memorable…otherwise
that
grocery
store
made-fresh
sushi
delivers
more
bang
for
the
buck.
No
complaints
with
the
combo
fried
rice.
I
just
left
feeling
a
little
disappointed.
Service
was
good,
and
that’s
often
where
a
restaurant
can
drop
a
star
or
two,
but
for
me
this
visit,
the
food
just
didn’t
shine.
