Our 9 year old cat Eve got sick last week. She had been losing weight and then on Wednesday, had an hard time getting around and wouldn’t eat. Our own vet was booked and closing early, so we made the rash decision to go to Scarbrough. We met with Dr. Julia Drube who ordered blood work and X-rays. It was determined that Eve had hyperthyroidism. Dr. Drube recommended that Eve spend the night at their facility, on an IV with fluids, meds, and an appetite booster. We would be able to get Eve the next day after another round of blood work, take her home with meds, and come back in 3 weeks for a follow up. I was assured by the nurse that I would get follow up calls, could request pictures, and could text after hours. By 4pm, I still had no follow up. I called and Dr. Drube told me Eve was unhappy with the “cone of shame”, but otherwise doing well on her IV. They were going to try and give her something to eat. Again, I heard nothing and when I called back, I found the office was closed and there was no number found to text. The next call I received was at 7:30 Thursday morning to find that Eve was found deceased when the office was opened. NO ONE WAS ON SITE AFTER HOURS! Had I been told this information, I never would have left Eve in their care. Dr. Drube “thought” she may have had a thyroid storm and her heart or liver couldn’t handle it. We understand that Eve was sick. We understand that perhaps if Eve was home, she may still have passed. But to think of Eve alone, at their facility, with no one to monitor her, help her, possibly save her, but most importantly COMFORT her has crippled us. This is pure neglect. I know of one other dog that died there that night, as well. Alix, the office manager told me it was a parvo puppy because I saw the family walk out with their pet in a box. Parvo is very fatal. Another poor animal left with no monitoring or care. I shutter to think of how many other families have gone down this road with this poor excuse of an animal hospital. I’ll continue to advocate for our sweet girl and will do everything I can to make sure this stops.

The Doctors and staff are the best. My dog, (Jellybean) actually loves coming here. She thinks she's visiting her people, instead of getting a check-up, because of the quality care and attention she receives. Dr. Proietto is awesome, I highly recommend Scarbrough Animal Hospital.

Excellent service and the vet tech Michelle as well as the vet Dr. Drew Scarborough were amazing with handling my dog. They physically examined my dog, identified issues and a treatment plan. The groomers were just ok. They left the nails a bit too long so when I asked they told me it was extra for sanding/filling his nails, but ultimately they didn't charge extra. I was impressed with the facility, very clean and painted in a cheerful yellow color, big reception and waiting area, courtesy cofee/tea/water and doggie treats. I would recommend them.

Today was one of the saddest day for our family we thought we where going to loose one of beloved cats at the age of 13, we did not know how bad she was until we saw the X-rays, thanks to the constant care and dedication of this team of Vets she was saved, they also called many times during the treatment to keep us informed, always answering all of my questions, comforting the patient and the family... we had it all, excellent care, life saving and emotional support. I brought my baby girl Mala in with pyometra absolutely devastated thinking we were going to lose her. The whole entire staff were so kind and helpful. The hospital was super clean and welcoming. I won’t be bringing my baby anywhere else but here. They really do care about the animals. They also review all the charges clearly and work with payment plans which saved us. Mala had to stay overnight after her surgery and I was a mess all night worried, for nothing. They took amazing care of her and I picked her up the next day (today) again, thank you all so much for your hard work and dedication! You guys saved my baby.. my four daughters, husband and I are beyond grateful. Amazing team! Definitely recommend 10/10!

This is the best Vet/animal hospital I’ve been to so far in my area (Sunrise). The staff was so helpful and kind, the service was expeditious and they made me feel a lot more confident in my dogs recovery. CHECK THEM OUT

I am so grateful for everyone at this office! Dr. Rob is so great, I have only positive things to say. He and the entire staff were incredible and trustworthy with my senior dog during a really tough time. Dr. O'Neill also took over for a few days and was so kind and helpful during my pet's stay. There was great communication and care from all the amazing techs that took care of my dog, even the receptionist Meghan showed so much compassion for my dog and gave me a separate call to check in. Would highly recommend them to anyone, they are so thorough and diligent in making sure your pet is safe, healthy and loved. A million thank you's to this team :)

This place was wonderful! We recently moved to the area and our biewer terrier Einstein had scratched his eye just before the move and Scarborough was able to see us the same day we landed. The entire staff was so friendly, they were very gentle with our pup as well as patient with us. They took the time to explain everything to us in an easy to understand manner as well as demonstrate how to give him his eye drops. We are absolutely going to use Scarborough for our dog and our cat and if you are looking for veterinary services then I recommend you come here.

I have been going to Scarborough animal hospital for a couple years now. We always had seen Dr.Drew he would take care of our pups. Something we loved about that vet and doc was 1. You can tell that man genuinely loved animals. 2. He would only offer you what your pet actually needed and not try to rip you off. He was very reasonable… I couldn’t make it the other day so my parents took the pups, it was a total sales pitch. $800 later… for an ear cleaning, nail trim, and biopsy. Dr. Drew would never!!! Make sure you don’t fall into there sales pitch and get what you can actually afford.

My cat broke her tail and my roommate recommended Scarbrough Animal Hospital. She needed surgery and from the very start the staff was great. They checked up on Ruby during the 2 weeks before her return. I’ve been back now for the removal of the stitches and to check on her ears. Everything they did has been in house and in a timely manner letting me know each step in the process. My cat actually relaxes there. Highly recommend!!! Thanks for such a pleasant experience!

Well, been coming here for years. The only place my dog Prince knows. He grooms here, he does his check ups here. The staff is phenomenal. They treat you like family and you will always get a smile and a call to check up the next day and text on your visit. It’s not just a job for these folks. They love every patient and take very good care of our fur family. Don’t hesitate to take your pet here. Clean facility. Transparency where you can see your dog getting groomed. We are from out of state and needed their services. WOW! I was really impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a full service vet. We got our pup groomed and treated for an ear infection. They also found some dental issues to address with our vet back home. I attached before and after grooming pictures.

This clinic is a complete breath of fresh air. They are so caring and professional. My pets are my world so I'm skeptical of who cares for them and I feel nothing but security and comfort leaving them in their hands. They are all such a wonderful group of people. My husband and I especially adored Albert. We went in there today guns blazing with questions and he answered them all patiently and thoroughly. He was informative, charismatic, and so welcoming. We'll be requesting him from now on. Highly recommended place!

Dr. Rob is amazing. My pup was super sick and another Hospital tried to charge me way too much and wouldn't work with me at all. Dr. Rob not only worked with me financially but didn't charge an arm and a leg. The entire staff was super helpful and awesome. They really make you feel like your animal is as important as their own. I actually just received a follow up call from them to check on my pup. I will forever recommend them and will continue to take all my animals there!!! You will not be disappointed if you take your animal/pet/fur baby here.

Been taking him to this location since I adopted him (11/2017) and the team is always friendly, welcoming and caring towards me and my dog Rocky. 10/10 vet office. I'm a new kitten owner and all the staff was so friendly and informative :) They truly care about your pet and treat them like one of their own. Their office is also super clean and organized. You and your pet won't be disappointed!

They are very gentle with pets. My dog receives great care here. They take their time and try to be as through as possible. They send reminders in the mail for upcoming appointments. It is a grooming side in there as well. Overall, I am satisfied with the care and customer service they have displayed.

I wish I could give 100 stars!! Very loving and kind vet office! They care deeply about the animals and always check up on them. They are truly one of a kind! The only vet office that will work with you on payments. They saved my bulldog’s life because she needed a c-section. They saved the puppies and my sweet dog’s life! Everyone in the office is as nice as they can be. Highly highly recommend!!

I went to Scarbrough Animal Hospital because of a groupon and the experience was amazing. The staff is friendly, skilled, and they treated my dog with love. They care for animals and it is really hard to find places like that. We went on a Saturday and did not wait much, the place was clean, organized, and the attention is definitely a winner. We will come back.

I had a very good experience here because it was the first time a take my dog to there and they treat my dog very well, I know he was comfortable with the staff and they were so professional finding the solution to his coughing. I will recommend this place to every pet owners. Thanks

My dog is usually very anxious going in to the vet, but he was treated so gently and with so much kindness here that he actually relaxed. I took him in for a dental with Dr. Rob. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses to the doctor were warm, efficient, and skilled. We were seen promptly and charged appropriately, and even a little less than some other estimates I’d gotten. And Murphy’s teeth look great! One thousand percent recommend.

Excellent service by this team. They were the only vet that I can call and received an estimate without exam which I appreciate soooo much!! Moved further south but I will always come back to this animal hosp to receive care. Dr Sarah was extremely caring and the staff was so so kind!! Highly recommend 10/10

I'm so happy I chose to come to this vet! My dog has had prolonged diarrhea, and his vet at Banfield was simply not addressing the issue! I feel so much better with the staff here. They were all super kind and very empathetic of what both my puppy and myself were going through. This place will be the place my puppy continues to go to. They truly care about the entire family, and they will go above and beyond to be sure your pet gets the care they need. Thank you so much for everything! There should be a 10 star rating for how amazing you all are.

We come from Quebec, Canada and our dog Yuki started to not feel well as soon as we arrived in Florida. Dr Gangadin and her assitant Chris were so sweeeeeet and attentioned. This is THE BEST VET i have ever been to.They are so professionnal and kind. Our family can never thank them enough for taking care of our Yuki. I highly recommand this hospital, they really have their heart in the right place :)

While the care they give seems adequate, they are not a 'user-friendly' vet. I had taken my previous cat (who passed) to them and the charges were ASTRONOMICAL. But she was sick and I did what I had to do. I called to get a price for a basic kitten exam & shots. I knew the kittens weights and ages. They refused to tell me the price without bringing both of them in for an exam because they knew I was a previous client. My husband called from his cell. They readily gave him the price & offered a free basic exam for each kitten. Their price was 2 - 3 times the amount of other vets we contacted. Pic of kittens as a thank you for reading my review 😻

We had a great experience at Scarbrough Animal Hospital. Our dog was checked by a vet. The staff is very friendly. They asked us what we wanted for our baby and we got exactly the result expected. A good place to go with your furry friend.

I brought a deal off of groupon and brought my two girl dogs Dream and Toby to get groomed. The groomers did a amazing job. The dogs were so happy and look so clean and were cut lovely. all the people here were very polite, friendly and were very welcoming. I definitely recommend and thank you guys for the amazing job you did. The whole family is very happy with the results. I will be uploading pictures of them.
