I'm confused with the bad reviews here. This place was amazing. Great service, and the food was fantastic. The waiter was very attentive and super friendly. Maybe a little shy but no reason to write a bad review on a place that is clearly serving amazing food. We will def be back again and again.

Been going here for years. Excellent food. The new location feels sterile, too trendy, cold and uninviting. It doesn’t even look Indian. The old location had a magical, exotic vibe that is sorely missed here. Will of course continue to go nonetheless because the flavors they achieve here are unparalleled. Highly recommended despite the new decor.

Lots to choose from from a vegetarian options to multiple lamb meals for omnivores. Now located at 1672 E Oakland Park Blvd, Oakland Park, FL the (NEW) Bombay Cafe (new location since May 2021) never fails to provide a great meal for every taste! Definitely coming back! The new location is cleaner and more trendy. Great upgrade. Decent amount parking spaces available (more available when near by businesses close for the evening).

Lamb Madras was excellent. I enjoy spicy food and between the entree and appetizers there was plenty of spice to go around. Dessert was also very good. The wait staff was attentive and checked in on us a number of times. Visited on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy at all. Tons of menu choices. I would return if the opportunity presented.

Flavorful food and a really expansive menu. They have tandoori dishes, curry-based dishes, vegetarian food, vegan food, and tons of breads beyond just naan. Everything was very flavorful and well-prepared. Seriously good food! Their menu has so many directions you can take. Looking forward to trying more!

Cafe style restaurant in a strip mall setting. The buffet at lunch was a no go. From the menu, the eggplant, lamb saag and Rogan Josh were quite good. Spice level was not at my level, so had to request chillies. Naan does not come with and wasn't complimentary for the table. Service was somewhat slow. Rice was basmati and did come with. Mango Lassi was quite good. No ambiance. No hot towels for hands. Flavors were a bit on the bland side.

This is honestly one of the best places to find Indian food in South Florida. I have been all over and there is not been a restaurant that I could find that has the service and the food that this restaurant has. The lunch buffet is absolutely outstanding. I definitely recommend you try this place. You will not be disappointed if you are a picky person when it comes to Indian food. This definitely gets five stars for me. Don't miss out.

I had the dal soup appetizer and the chicken kathi kebab--delicious! Especially the kathi kebab, spicy but just the right amount. Ordered using their website and it was ready exactly when it said it would be. I will definitely be back to try the South Indian dishes.

Food really went down in quality. Less spices, more salt. Gave a good tip because I won't be visiting anymore. Used to recommend this place. Prolly will see a laundromat instead of the cafe soon.

I have been hankering for some Indian food for quite sometime and today, I caved in and ordered some for my work lunch. I AM SO GLAD I CHOSE THIS PLACE! First off, the spice level was PERFECT. Just enough to engage a little sniffling and it lingered on my palate in the best kind of way after eating. This spice level in NO WAY is too much or too aggressive. If you are afraid of that, just ask for mild. Everything I ate arrived well packaged and was the perfect temperature. I really can't say enough about how pleased I was with everything I had. I HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Makhani, Onion Bhaji and Garlic Naan. I will absolutely have enough for a second (and possibly even a third) large lunch tomorrow, and something tells me it will taste even better...as only the best home cooking always does after a night in the fridge!!! I look forward to going back here and introducing my family to it. THANK YOU for making my Monday worth driving into work for :-)!!!

The food is amazing and the service is excellent. I was actually in my way to pollo tropical but I decided to see other restaurants in the area in google maps, and I discovered a jewel. I'm coming back for sure.

No buffet. Very expensive menu, the chicken saag was 18$. The chicken was tender. The sauce was ok. Rice included naan separate (6$). The samosa were good (6$).

The food is fresh and delicious. The mango lassi is awesome and the server was very kind with all my questions.

They have good menu and nice place to have Indian food, although the taste is hardly authentic and just Americanized.

The food was very good. Plenty of spaces available to dine in, and the service m—athlough had long waiting times, was very good. We went for the dinner and tried Nan, curries and biryani and all of them were nice. In particular, we loved the goat biryani. We would visit again.

Seems we have been to this restaurant when they were on Andrews. Food was good and you can tell it was good as most clients seemed to be from India. I esp. liked the chilly chicken and fish. Pricey compared to home.

Butter chicken is amazing. Portion is a good size. I was able to take the rest home for a later meal. They gave me some more rice at no extra charge to take home.

Have been coming here for years. Dined here two months ago for my wedding and their food is still high quality. I consider it one of the best in Florida. It's authentic Indian food unlike other restaurants that pretend to be or have "Americanized" it. Here, the dishes are fair in size, portions feel dense and the owners are decent human beings providing hospitable service. There is a large variety and the inside feels like a home. Cozy and authentic. Highly recommended.
