Great place for comfort food, especially on a cold, rainy day. My friend got the combo salad and chili. I got the Ribeye Philly Steak on a sweet potato sub roll. The side of honey pepper relish was something different and really good. Looks like a real, old fashioned diner like the one I knew as a teenager. Now, I appreciate the ten percent discount for seniors.

We touched down with a party of 5 on a Saturday night at around 6:30 pm. The receptionist got us seated within 5 minutes after a couple beugarted their way in front of us. We had an exceptional waiter who really took time to make recommendations and see that we had all of our needs met. The location is kid friendly. I got the liver and onions. I loved the fact that there were multiple vegetable options for the side substitute for the kid's meal for the fries. They had broccoli, sautéed spinach, a vegetable medley, to name a few. Everything was reasonably priced, and the booth was large and clean. I would visit this location again.

Last week after a work meeting, my coworkers and I grabbed lunch from Silver diner and it was honestly gross. I don’t say this about many places; but upon our arrival the food aroma was decent so the whole experience was very disappointing. They have a pretty lengthy menu but I went with the chicken Cobb salad which was somewhat pricey for a diner. It tasted like the salad kits that you buy from the store, expect it tasted old and stale. My coworker order a chili bowl — we both agreed that it tasted like it came straight out of a can. He also ordered a meatloaf which he didn’t finish. My other coworker said the burger was edible. The service was decent. I would rate my experience 4/10

Fantastic food at pretty decent price for the area. Loved the overall vibe and there was no wait time at all. Located right near The Archer and is only a short walk from it. They serve beer and wine and have some cocktails too. Highly recommend this place!

In town for a convention and wanted to grab breakfast. Found this place on google maps and the pictures and reviews looked good so we decided to give us a try. It was amazing! I got the bison rancheros and my husband got the apple pie stuffed French toast. Everything was amazing. The servers and host were nice. Also, they had an amazing jukebox system that actually worked! What a really fun place to eat delicious food!

I am a network field technician. After a long day of work I Googled restaurants near me. To my surprise this restaurant was less than a half a mile away from the job site. I decided to stop in and they got my order wrong. I ordered a cheeseburger medium and it was cooked well done. The food was not delivered to me but to my surprise the manager came up to me and advise me of the situation. I probably would have never known this but she wanted to make sure my order was correct. I was pleasantly surprised of her dedication to make sure my order was correct. She was very professional and I wish I had gotten her name. She even gave me a complimentary on trade certificate for my next visit. It wasn't necessary but she wanted to make sure my experience was a pleasurable one. By the way once I receive my order it was one of the most delicious burgers I've ever had. The food is excellent! I will definitely be telling all of my friends and family about my experience. Great job guys!

The food was ok at best this time around. The restaurant's atmosphere was good and the music didn't play when I paid for a song of choice. The waiter was attentive and assisted with menu options to help with my selections. I ordered French Toast with eggs, chicken sausage, and a side of sweet potato fries. As a diner, I would visit this location again because there are a few more menu options I would like to try. I give this overall dining experience three stars 🌟🌟🌟 Bottom Line: It's okay

Always a good time here. Family and children friendly. Competent, friendly service. Great kids menu. Comparatively good prices and great food! Love my Luau burger! Also, their booths are partitioned nicely with the glass dividers that go up pretty high. Overall good experience 👍

Food is good. We like it. But we didn’t like the lentils soup at all. They can’t cook “well done meat” all meats are cooked medium well.

This is one of my favorite places to eat with family and friends. I try to eat very healthy, no artificial or highly processed ingredietns, no meat (no fish), and this place has options for everyone. The waitresses are super friendly and i use the restaurant App, so sometimes i get rewards!. I love the ambiance. They look look old diners with their music boxes on most tables. I try to remember to bring a quarter or two to play oldies. Highly recommend.

We arrived to our hotel late evening Door Dash the Diner food was amazing. So good that the next morning we drove there for Breakfast. The atmosphere was cute, the wait staff Amazing "Valentino" was so helpful and attentive. Best Breakfast Hands down. So breakfast was so good we went back for Dinner. Again we had Valentino. DINNER WAS OUTSTANDING. The milkshakes were out of this world and the burgers had to be the best ever. The freshness of the food amazing. This place is a must EAT..

My boyfriend and I went to Silver Diner after a very long day, and we ordered the Bay Benedicts, the Hickory BBQ burger, the bruchetta appetizer, and the campfire milkshake. It was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed when we were there. The service was great. Wish I had room for dessert, but maybe next time. This has been my third time here, and I will be returning.

This location of Silver Diner is a STANDOUT location! My wife and I were visiting from out of town and we ended up coming here 3 times in a week! Once for late night, once for dessert, and once for brunch! Our experience every single time was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Joy, Karla, and the rest of the team here ALL deserve a substantial raise! Their commitment to customer service, a pleasant experience, and connecting with patrons should be commended and recognized. In an age where customer service is severely lacking (especially in the service industry) due to a multitude of factors, the Silver Diner in Springfield needs to be a case study/example for what all other diners (and restaurants for that matter) should aspire to be!!! 100/10 experience, food, staff, and QUALITY service. As a patron, THANK YOU SO MUCH for MULTIPLE awesome experiences!

The food was delicious 😋 I had the hawaiian burger that I absolutely 💯 recommend! It has chunks of pineapple and other things, a very tropical flavor that at first I was scheptical about, but I actually went a second time to buy the same burger. And that burger comes with sweet potato fries. The two other plates that were ordered were the pastrami sandwich and the triple crispy chicken sandwich (I believe the names are close to that lol) and they absolutely ❤️ loved their flavor as well 😀. Two of us had milk shakes, classic strawberry 🍓 and cookies and cream! They were delicious, and mine even had small chunks of strawberries 🍓. I gave 4 stars to service because and 3 to atmosphere because it seems like they don't have an employee area and there were a bunch of employees sitting in front of us making a lot of noise and the food took longer than usual. We happened to be sitting close to the kitchen. It looked like a change of shift. So I recommend they create an area for the employees to hang out without interrupting the customers' experience. I don't recommend you sitting close to the kitchen if you want to have a peaceful meal. Other than that, everything was great!

From the hostess giving us great energy at the front door, to the server being patient with our orders and going above and beyond, & to the sweet sweet manager checking on our table and ensuring our visit was up to standards, I wish I could give them 10 stars!! I had the shrimp and grits and caramel French toast and it is a definite recommendation!!! If you’re ever in Springfield, VA try them out you can’t go wrong with this location! Silver Diner Springfield, VA is awesome. An all day breakfast menu may draw you into the store, but the rest of the menu will keep you coming back for more. The atmosphere of the diner is what makes it “POP.” The old fashion booth seating with jukebox selections with many of the hits from 60s, 70s and some kid friendly melodies. Just a great place to grab a bite, relax and enjoy your meal in the comfort of a time long before drive thru windows, where people take it slow and enjoy a conversation with a waiter/waitress. Check out any of the Silver Diners in the area, your taste buds will thank you!

Great menu! Great prices! We've been here many times but I felt it was about time to share my thoughts on the Silver Diner. The standout feature of this place, in addition to the (usually) upbeat service, is the remarkable variety of food options available. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, or devoted carnivore, there's something here for everyone—no dietary preferences are left behind! Another thing I love is the ability to have breakfast at any hour of the day. If there was anything negative to say at all, it would be that it sometimes gets pretty loud. I recommend opting for a seat as far away from the front door and wait station as possible, as the staff sometimes does a little yelling back and forth. However, I can confidently say that I have never been disappointed with a meal here, nor have I ever had less than swift and friendly service.

I recently visited Silver Diner and I had a great experience. I ordered the egg white mushroom and spinach omelette with a side of fruit bowl and it was absolutely delicious. Vanessa is the BEST waitress! Keep up the great work! Food is always good at this Silver Diner location because some locations are hit or miss. During the week, it's really not that crowded, and with it being so close to Potomac Mills, it's a great option if you want something different.

I had a great waiter and loved the atmosphere. The vibe of the restaurant does not match the menu and the amount of gravy on the country fried steak potatoes and biscuit basically needs to be quadroupled.

Easily one of the best dining experiences in the area. The French toast is heavenly and the eggs are always nicely done. I have eaten at Silver Diner 3 times in the past week. Nice meat selection for non pork eaters as well. They have a nice brownie ice cream dish for desert.

Abel was our server last week and in one word he is AMAZING! he was so nice and kind to us. The food was excellent. Thank you Abel!

Up front, I want to suggest a sign at their only entrance to direct patrons. It is not immediately apparent that there is only one side to enter. If you miss it you have to go pretty far around to get back in. I almost didn't go because of that. It was pretty busy at 7p but I was seated right away and had my meal in about 15 minutes. I tried the Hawaiian luau hamburger. It was good but very drippy. Waitress was very friendly and upbeat. They have jukeboxes on the tables but unsure if they worked as no music was playing. That could've been fun. Overall a good experience, just making some recommendations.

This retro diner chain gives you the GOOD TIME vibes as soon as you walk in. You can’t miss the jukebox and the checkered black and white floors to get you in at 1950s mindset. I thought the Fonz was coming out of the back at any moment. Great selection of food for breakfast lunch or dinner. I had the avocado toast and it was delightful. I

Overall I liked the restaurant. It was better then I expected it to be. My wife loved her milkshake and I really liked my bison burger. I think the portions were a small for the price. And took a while before the food came out.

Great food! I loved the taste of my turkey burger! I almost ordered another! The only drawback was my side order of coleslaw was a little small. Or than that, the food and our waiter were stellar!

Had to wait 10mins yes to get seated. It was a Tuesday night and the place was so loud as if it were Sunday AM rush! The steak and eggs were so so. I would give the food 6/10 because the steak was unseasoned. Overall experience 5/10.

Ordered the mozzarella tomato basil sandwich and it was delicious!!! The fries are better then most places and I got a side of cold slaw I wasn't expecting! So many vegetarian options, great service, friendly staff and a jukebox at each table! Only 4 stars cause a few flies were buzzing around, but luckily they stayed in the window and off our food! Definitely would recommend to a friend!

I continue to be amazed by the quality of food and drinks at silver diner. I was at a bougie restaurant for brunch in Old Town, and their food and mimosas didn't come close to the quality of this silver diner. I got the tropical mimosa which is guava mint, and it was delicious! I also got the oat protein pancakes, with coconut almond whipped cream. It was a delicious pairing, I just wish the pancakes were cooked a little more in the middle. The staff was also very friendly, and there was no wait because I got to sit at the counter. Highly recommend this place for local brunch

I had the lemony hummus with cauliflower pita bread and it was delicious. The sweet potato fries are very good too. The serving sizes are smaller than at other restaurants. I definitely felt like I could eat some more after I finished my meal. Also it's a little pricey for the small serving size. The hummus pita dish was around $16 I think. For that amount of money I want a good filling meal that doesn't leave me still feeling hungry. But if you don't want large portion sizes this might be a good restaurant for you. I went at lunch time on a Friday and it was very busy, the parking lot was very full and I had to park far from the restaurant. However there was no line or wait time so that was great. It did take awhile for our food to be prepared. Maybe 20 or 30 minutes. The staff were polite but seemed harried and overwhelmed due to the busyness. They did get our orders correct, so that was good. I wasn't sure with how distracted our waiter was what we'd end up getting. Overall a good experience. My main complaints are the small serving size for the price and I didn't like the crowded, busy atmosphere and the long wait for the food.
