My family and I decided to stop here to eat because we heard good things about this place and saw good reviews. We were in for a treat but not the good kind. The GOOD: The kids food came out hot.. eventually. The staff was apologetic. The BAD: Outdoor seating that no one tends to. We did not know this before we chose to sit there. Understaffed and overwhelmed hostesses and servers. They were not ready for the influx of the day. Food that tasted like it was frozen then cooked. Bland no true flavor. Food that looked like it was sitting getting cold before it was served. Sauce looked gelatinous. Drinks that were ordered that never showed up not even apple juice for the kids 2 and 5 yo The UGLY: Syringe in outdoor seating area found by 5 yo grandson. I had a "Karen moment." I am not proud. I realize the staff may not have been ready for the influx of the day but that was no excuse for their actions which then prompted my response. I cannot recommend this place at this time and I do not believe I will return here. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The food was good a bit salty in some items but nothing was bland. The wevice was hit and miss. The staff is obviously over worked. The server was dropping glasses l, cleaning tables resetting and still serving all at the same time. The food tool a while to come out. My wife did not get her food on time because the sever did not hear her. They could have a brought the kids food out faster than the adults to make it smoother. It is definitely not a good place for kids. You get the more upscale feel for comfort food. A bit over priced. They could offer family style dishes to share for big families versus individual plates. Even though we are Latino we all don't speak fast Spanish so a little English can help the communication a bit more

My wife and I have been craving some good mofongo since coming back from Puerto Rico but haven’t found a good spot in the DMV until today! This restaurant is legit! I ordered the pork mofongo and my wife ordered the shrimp mofongo. Both of us loved our meals. Portions were fairly generous and the consistency of the plantains was on point. Highly recommend!

Been to this place twice. Once during Puerto Rican festivals in Manassas because it was way to hot there and the lines where outrageous, and yesterday. Wife and I both love the food she went in very biased and left really enjoyed the food. Told me it reminded her how her dad and family back in PR. Will definitely return.

All I can say is that I felt like i was in Miami. I ordered the Mofongo Los 5 Golpes and the Cubin sandwich. The Cuban sandwich is the best hands down in the DMV area. And the flavors of this mafungo which consisted of all of their delicious meats. Oh my gosh, it was delicious.

This place is ok. We went during lunch and we were the only people there on a Tuesday. Picadera platter had more chicken than anything and tostones were oily and didn't taste good. Pernil was not great either however the rice and beans did taste good. Passion fruit juice was very sweet and watery. Food is a little pricey. I would consider revisiting on another occasion to try food again as they do have a variety of items on menu. Restaurant is visually appealing and clean.

Nice atmosphere. Good service. The cola de filet mignon was definitely not flavored well
