Such
a
quant
little
place!
Tucked
up
in
the
woods
right
off
the
water,
what
more
could
you
ask
for?
Everything
you
would
need
for
a
relaxing
getaway.
Beautiful
Marina,
restaurant
on
sight
and
the
wildlife
was
abundant!
We
saw
Eagles,
Armadillo
and
Deer
just
to
name
a
few.
The
biggest
part
of
it
for
us
was
that
they
were
"Pet
Friendly",
well.....
That's
why
I'm
only
giving
4
stars.
So
when
you
pull
up
the
amenities
on
Google,
it
says
"pets
are
welcome"
nothing
more.
When
you
pull
up
the
Bucksaw
Resort
website
there
is
no
information
at
all
about
pets.
I
informed
the
lady
I
spoke
with
on
the
phone
to
make
reservations
that
we're
traveling
with
our
dog.
Was
told
that's
fine
but
there
is
an
extra
$20
non
refundable
pet
fee,
nothing
else
was
said.
That's
awesome
it's
$50-$75
on
average
at
most
places.
However.....
Upon
arrival
we
are
informed
and
had
to
sign
an
agreement
saying
we
would
pick
up
after,
keep
on
leash
all
the
norm.
Here
comes
the
kicker.
And
the
dog
must
not
be
left
unattended
at
any
time,
well
of
course
not
I
would
never
let
my
little
dog
wander
around
a
strange
place
without
us.
"NOT
EVEN
IN
THE
ROOM!"
I
say
to
the
lady
at
the
front
desk,
"so
I
brought
her
kennel,
I
can
put
her
in
the
kennel
and
leave
her
in
the
room
right?"
To
which
she
replies,
"no
I'm
sorry
but
not
at
all,
animals
cannot
be
left
unattended
at
any
time,
not
even
in
a
kennel
in
your
room."
So
how
do
we
go
swimming?
Or
fishing?
Or
enjoy
the
lovely
place
that
Bucksaw
Resort
is?
All
she
could
tell
me
is
sorry
that's
the
policy,
someone
has
to
attend
to
the
dog
at
all
times.
We
still
had
a
great
time,
comfy
little
room.
I
wish
the
pet
room
was
on
the
other
side
of
the
building.
At
least
we
could
have
looked
at
the
lake
while
we
stayed
in
the
room
with
the
dog
lol.
If
our
dog
wasn't
14
years
old
with
a
bad
heart,
and
it
wasn't
100+
degrees
out,
we
could
have
had
her
outside
with
us.
But
instead
we
got
to
sit
on
the
hill
overlooking
the
lake,
which
was
beautiful
for
a
couple
minutes
at
a
time
until
the
dog
couldn't
take
it
and
we
had
to
get
her
back
in
the
room
in
the
ac.
Once
it
got
dark
we
did
get
to
go
out
for
a
little
longer
and
about
100
yards
up
the
road
was
a
couple
picnic
tables
overlooking
the
lake
from
a
high
bluff
that
was
absolutely
stunning.
This
is
totally
not
a
"bad
review"
just
information
for
the
next
traveler
with
a
furry
family
member.
We
would
highly
recommend
this
place,
the
RV
part
of
the
resort
looked
very
nice
and
if
you
had
your
animals
in
your
own
RV
there
wouldn't
be
a
problem
I'm
sure.
But
as
far
as
the
lodge,
I'd
find
other
arrangements
if
you're
looking
for
a
safe
place
to
let
the
dogs
relax
while
you
enjoy
yourselves.
If
you
plan
on
having
your
dog
out
with
you
enjoying
the
outdoors
as
well,
it's
a
great
option.
However
it's
not
practical
for
us.
Like
I
told
the
wife
tho,
at
least
when
we
go
back
we
will
always
have
memories
there
of
her
with
us
even
if
she's
not!
Bucksaw
Resort
is
a
beautiful
place
and
we
will
be
back
when
we
have
more
time
to
enjoy
it!
