Triage nurses could care less about why I was there. After being put in a room I was greeted by a lady who was coming to take my blood (which the doctor did not order.) I tried explaining that there was no blood work to be done and she insisted that there was. She then asked me why I even came and that I was supposed to let them help me any way they see fit and that I needed to let them do whatever. So I said uh ok and asked how much blood they planned on taking and she asked why and I said giving blood makes me queasy and they might have to lay me back depending on how much blood/how long it would take. She told me it didn’t matter if it was 1 or 4 tubes and that I needed to just let them do it. I said I would really like to know anyways. I guess that made her mad because she turned around to ask the other ladies how many tubes they intended to get only to find the ladies gone. After a couple of minutes she comes back saying that they had the wrong room and she tried to laugh it off. She didn’t apologize. The lady in the room taking my insurance information apologized for her behavior and said she couldn’t believe she acted that way. If you don’t have patience or compassion for people, you shouldn’t be a nurse. On the bright side, the doctor was wonderful, I wish I remembered her name.

Great experience! Everyone was so nice. It was the easiest, smoothest surgery I’ve ever had. If all my surgeries could go like that one I wouldn’t mind having surgeries more often. 😀😀❤️

The staff in Critical care was awesome. I never had to wait if I needed something. They kept me updated on my progress and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. The nurses on the 2nd floor were also great.

The infusion department was SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!! Every nurse was AWESOME! This was my first time receiving infusions and they made me very comfortable with the attentiveness, warm blankets, snacks, and casual conversations.

Dr. Justin Brooten was the best ER doctor I have ever seen in a hospital ER he is kind and courteous and lets you know the truth even if it is hard to take in. But honesty no matter how hard it is always best. You have a great ER doctor there he is not only there for the job he showed that he cared. All of the staff at Iredell Memorial are great they were all very nice and showed that they weren't only there for a job they were there because they cared. You have a great hospital there. Thank you for all that you did for my Mother.

Every member of the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I could not ask for a more professional and dedicated healthcare team.

From start to finish, it was great. The nurses recognized my pain and , took me straight back, and got things going. ER doctors were fabulous. I was admitted to the first floor and every staff member I met was incredibly compassionate and caring. My every need was met. Iredell is my first and only choice for health care.

My experience was perfect in every way. Courteous attentive personnel who explained everything in a smiling friendly manner. Was made aware of each step and made sure that I understood what was happening step by step. Could not have been more satisfied with the way every thing was done start to finish.

We had excellent care for our 93 yr old father who was in an accident while out of town Everyone from nurses, doctors,CNAs, and others were so kind and supportive No matter who we dealt with they were helpful, informative and went out of their way to make it a positive experience. Highly recommend this hospital and their staff. Thanks to all for their dedication to their patients! Also good food in the Tea Room was a plus

Well service was great in the er. However S. the social worker kept calling me. She said I never returned her calls but did. I left messages stating I could be contacted after 5:00. I told them I could not care for him any longer. I have a full time job. But they do not care if you lose your job. Did they try to help or offer suggestions. NO, he had large area on his heel, he did not have that when he went in.

Everyone was very nice, starting with check-in. All the nurses were very professional and made me feel completely comfortable. The staff was the highlight of my experience. However, the scheduling experience not so much. My appointment time was 1:00pm; I was not taken to the OR till 4:15. No fault of the staff, just poor scheduling of the operating rooms. I would definitely go back to IMH OP surgery due to the great staff!!!

Nurse Stacey and Ericka in labor and delivery were absolutely amazing. Dr. Wade is the best OBGYN. The hospital was extremely clean, kinda, and willing to listen to my wishes/educate me to ensure I was making the best decision. My birthing experience was phenomenal due to the care the nurses provided.

Excellent. Nurses were friendly as they collected and reviewed my checking info. Procedure nurses were friendly and professional. Nurse during recovery and checkout was most helpful and concerned that I was comfortable. Loved them all

While The floor staff was great, the nurses and cna’s were wonderful, they went above and beyond and was always willing to help. My overall experience hasn’t changed much since 2016, it always seems like no one has answers, and when asked it’s difficult to get answers and not told multiple things that just contradict one another regarding said answers to straight forward questions.. There seemed to be only one professional that was willing to stay in my room a talk with me for longer than a few seconds, (not talking about nursing staff, talking about doctors and others about nursing positions) no bedside manner, seemed they wanted to be on the card merely for a payday, telling me the something extra day, without further explanation or willingness to answer questions is not a good thing. There did seem to be a slight disconnect in communication between staff when certain questions were asked. Over all my stay was semi successful, however the choice of coming here initially was the wrong one, should have gone to Baptist, but this place is a bit closer, however moving forward i will be going to baptist, solely due to how many times since 2016 the ball had been dropped regarding my care..

I was in the ICU floor. Everyone was very kind and helpful and answered any questions or concerns I had. There were two, in charge, nurses their names were Hallie and Nikki. I hope the hospital knows just how lucky they are to have such professional and just awesome nurses they are!! Their kindness and caring for me was perfect!! Thank you 😁

Fantastic from beginning to the end. Every person did their job professionally and earnestly. When the anesthesia staff, Dr Upp and Johnathon asked if I would need a relaxing agent I was able to tell them no, because I had complete confidence in their abilities. A few minutes later Dr Pugh came and did her job with precision and removed my gallbladder. I have almost no pain at all. Small enough that Tylenol takes care of it. This is Sunday morning at 6:30am, not quite 36 hours later, and I am doing fantastic. Was able to go through a Christmas Drive Thru Friday night. I’m able to eat with no issues. Could not ask for any better service. Thank you to everyone. May God bless you for using the gifts you’ve been given to help people like me in time of need.

All the people that helped us were professional and also treated me with kindness and respect. I couldn't have asked for anything better. They understood my pain and cared for me well. The physician therapists who helped me were exceptionally kind ,professional and so helpful.

My daughter has been sick since 11/7 with fever, coughing, no eating, vomiting, and barely drinking. On 11/10 with diarrea. I knew my daughter didn't have a "common virus" I went to Iredell on 11/11 I told the doctor she had not eaten in days had fever since 11/7 and all her symptoms. She got no x-ray, no testing to see what virus she had nothing. Got sent home and told it was gonna go away on its own. With only nausea medicine that didn't even work. I gave her the pill, then waited at least 30 min and gave her food, and then she threw it up. On 11/12, I went to Catawba hospital, where they did the proper procedures. Come to find out, my daughter has 3 viruses and pneumonia. So no, I don't give this place a good rating. Learn to Listen to Parents. We are with our children every Single day, and some of us only go to the emergency room when it's necessary. If we say it's not normal, it's NOT normal. And next time, please actually run some tests. Don't think you know it all Only God does!

From entering for registration, to the wheelchair ride to your vehicle. I give all involved 5 stars. All the staff are so nice, professional, knowledgeable and personable. Facility is clean and bright. I’ve had quite a few procedures at Iredell Memorial and they’ve always been a 5 star experience. I HIGHLY recommend Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Knowledgeable and professional but also friendly and helpful. When I was first given this option via worker's comp, I thought "don't you have someone closer." I decided to give it a try first and glad I did. Great staff and they definitely care about your improvement.

My experience with Iredell Hospital was quite good. It was busy when I arrived but I was seen in an efficient manner. I received courteous attention and updates during my visit. Even though I was feeling very sick, I felt as if my comfort and “feeling better” was their priority.

On arrival the staff efficiently checked me in for my scheduled surgery. I was prepped quickly and moved surgery. After i woke nurses were there to help get comfortable. After seeing my doctor I was quickly discharged.

The women’s health center is excellent. I have been there for various tests over the past 10+ years. The staff is very personable and caring while maintaining outstanding professionalism. I was particularly impressed that Tina called me personally to remind me of my appointment instead of a recorded message. Patty the mammography tech is one of your best. Thanks for the great service!

The staff was polite. The most relaxing, caring nurses and doctors I ever encounter. There's no words to explain the hospitality I was given. The nurses and doctors work like they love their jobs. I felt more like a friend of 20 years. I thank you for the treatment, comfort and care I received. Once again thank you. Iredell health system is a hospital I recommend

I had a fall and had to go to the ER. Everyone was so nice and didn’t have to wait. Was treated quickly. Nurse Jamie and the doctor were very professional. They were attentive to my needs and got my pain under control The x-Ray girls were so helpful in trying not to hurt me and they did a great job. I would recommend IMH for any health problems

An allergic reaction with my son had us there in the middle of the night and from the moment we walked through the door to the time we left we had nothing short of 5 star treatment. The Dr, nurses and even housekeeping were all so friendly and genuinely good people. This will definitely be our go to hospital from here on out! Thanks so much for getting us taken care of, out the door and back home so quickly! You are all greatly appreciated:)

My little family had the most amazing experience. Each nurse is so thoughtful, thorough, and goes out of their way to care for mommy and baby. The doctors (delivery, postpartum care, and pediatricians) ensure that you are safe, healthy, and cared for throughout your stay. As a first time mom I feel so blessed by each person that cared for me from this amazing team!

The receptionist was extremely pleasant and courteous. My nurse performing my mammogram was cheerful and efficient. It was a positive experience due to the staff, even though the procedure itself is not something I enjoy having done!

I would rate my experience as excellent. Wendy how was working the desk to register me in was very good and so friendly.

This is an amazing hospital! Shout out to everyone who took care of me from Jennifer with the purple hair to Heather who managed outpatient surgery! Very, very considerate! Dr. Vance, the anesthesia doctor who prayed for me and Will, his nurse anesthetist! Both just wonderful, but the real star of the show was Dr. Kush Patel who removed my huge kidney stone and got it all. He has such a warm comforting demeanor. Other wonderful nurses were River And Kelly , they knew just how to take care of me and my concerns! Thank you all for dedicating your lives to caring for others! Bless you!

I had a good experience at Iredell Hospital. I am pleased with the care I received while I was there for out patient surgery. The nurses were caring and answered my questions, which made me less anxious. The nurses also didn't hesitate to help me if if I needed anything and that means so much to me! The doctor was also very good, he also talked with me before and following my procedure. He was very courteous and told me not to hesitate to call the office if I needed anything! I would recommend Dr. Brandon Marion to others.

My baby and I had to be transferred to the hospital after I loss a lot of blood after delivery. Iredell Memorial was absolutely amazing and had the nicest staff. Everyone was great and it made having to go to a hospital more manageable. They assisted with anything and everything we needed and made it a pleasant stay (as much as a hospital could be). Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Everyone was so very nice, kind and professional! They were 2 hours ahead of schedule which was awesome!! Dr. Pugh, the surgeon, kept my daughter updated and let her know how everything went. All the nurses and staff were wonderful in same day surgery and the post op area!! Excellent ❤️

I had my baby here unexpectedly due to high blood pressure while in labor. A hospital birth has never been something I imagined myself doing, but due to all the love and compassion I felt while in the birth place, I will always be thankful I ended up where I was. From the minute I walked through the emergency room door I felt safe. The security came immediately and helped me through contractions while I was checked in. Once I made it up to labor and delivery, I was taken care of and again, I felt so safe. Megan being the first nurse I was with, she was so compassionate and knew what to say and how to comfort me to keep me positive through getting the epidural. Megan really made me feel like I was in good hands from the start. Stacy, I believe was the nurse while I delivered the baby. Stacy was very informative about everything that was happening to me and made sure I was comfortable. The ladies that joined her and Dr Randolph in my delivery were an awesome support team. They cheered me on and made me feel like I was doing the best job ever pushing, even though I did not feel like it and I felt like giving up. Those 4 ladies that were with me through my delivery were a blessing. All the nurses I encountered took good care of me even though I know they were super busy with other ladies. I really could go on and on, but I think y’all get the point. Thank you for taking care of me and my baby while I was staying in this hospital. Again, I’m so thankful I ended up here.

I was really well cared for by the staff and the support services personnel, and really everyone I encountered during my recent stay. I had a close relative there a couple of months ago and saw the same care and professionalism then as I just received during my own stay. It is my preferred local hospital because I've seen their good work several times over the last few years.

I had major surgery in November. My team of Doctors were very caring even when I was a difficult patient I’m home after 5+ weeks and while there are a few more procedures to do, I’m thankful and lucky to be here today. Most of the nurses and care team are amazing, but you can see how exhausted they become. They are hero’s in my eye for what they do say in and day out

Everyone at Iredell Hospital was very polite and caring. Very clean. The services they provided to me were quick and painless. They also made sure that my spouse was taken care of while I was admitted. Definitely felt safe and that I was in the best place for care.

The rooms are very small and we had to ask repeatedly for pain meds to be on time on the day shift. On a positive note , my night shift nurse, Janet was Awesome and took good care of me. Also the PT Hanna was the best, I really liked her. I loved the way the food service called me and it was good quality. Over all it was a good experience and everyone was super nice.

The nurses, doctors, anesthesiologists, and other hospital personnel were very friendly and caring consistently asking me how I feel and made sure I was comfortable. They also answered all my questions. The warm blankets and slip free socks are an extra plus adding to the comfort. Thanks for a great experience before, during, and after my surgery and easing the stress🥰

Was treated like a person and with the utmost respect. Best hospital food I've ever had and even let me order seconds if desired. I drive 30 minutes away just because this hospital takes better care of it's people than others. The nurses do a great job attending to you in a timely manner. Would recommend to family and friends.

My daughter had to have a surprise surgery on her wrist and it had to be done rather quickly. She was seen in the same day surgery part of the hospital. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC STAFF! There is not one complaint from my daughter or myself. Every single person was so kind and helpful. All the staff were positive and reassuring to my nervous teen. We prayed for a great group of medical staff and he definitely answered our prayers! We will definitely recommend this hospital to people in need and will be glad to use this hospital again for any other medical needs we may come across. Thank y’all so much!

I had a great experience during my stay. When I arrived at the ER, I was tended to quickly. All tests, blood work, etc were ordered within a very short period of time. The nurses were very friendly and checked on me often. The Dr kept us informed and took time to talk with us. My only complaint would have been the wait time to get a room, which was around 7 hours. To be fair, the cardiac unit stays full (from what I gathered) so it took a while for a bed to open up making the situation understandable. I was impressed by how quick it was from the time my tests and procedures were ordered (and there were several) to the time it took to get them done. Even the discharge process was fast. I would like to recognize Rachel and Jeffrey on the 2nd floor and Ralph in the OR. They were fantastic! Rachel was my nurse during my entire stay and was extremely attentive, friendly and quick with care. Jeffrey was my evening nurse and was very cheerful and understanding. Ralph had such a positive attitude and made sure I was comfortable on the way to my procedure. The entire care team was great as well.
