FORMER
EMPLOYEE:
Huge
conflict
of
interest
in
upper
management:
Practice
manager
and
co-owner
doctor
are
married
(both
ensure
wages
are
kept
low/inconsistent
while
keeping
costs
down)
and
the
medical
team
and
client
care
leads
are
also
married
(the
micromanaging
dream
team).
They
will
put
you
on
a
performance
improvement
plan
at
the
drop
of
a
hat,
and
when
reevaluated
they
move
goal
posts
once
you've
met
their
initial
expectations
just
to
keep
you
constantly
reaching
for
the
unattainable
before
finally
firing
you.
SPAH's
idea
of
morale
boosting
and
employee
appreciation
is
some
cheap
vet
brand
promo
materials
they
received,
bagels
and
coffee,
and
the
chance
to
watch
the
practice
manager
and
their
spouse
go
on
their
second
vacation
in
a
row.
Don't
expect
any
wage
increases
or
bonuses.
If
you're
in
client
care
and
happen
to
have
a
pretty
bad
day
or
if
you're
naturally
a
little
heavy
handed
with
the
phone,
fully
expect
the
assistant
to
the
practice
manager
watch
you
like
a
hawk
and
report
every
single
"infraction"
to
one
of
the
two
leads.
When
the
leads
leave
early,
the
workday
goes
by
much
more
smoothly
and
everyone
flows
together
on
the
same
wavelength.
When
they're
present,
everyone
is
on
edge,
even
if
they
don't
show
it.
Finally,
the
front
desk
staff
is
always
understaffed
but
is
always
firing.
I
really
loved
my
coworkers,
they
are
really
the
ones
that
make
this
place
what
it
is
today.
But
just
know,
every
time
you
bring
your
pet
in
and
the
front
desk
is
empty
except
for
one
person,
the
phone
going
off
every
second
while
that
poor
employee
is
left
to
their
own
devices
with
1
angry
client
and
3
waiting
to
be
roomed,
and
is
looking
for
the
best
opportunity
to
walk
out:
don't
take
it
out
on
them.
Take
it
out
on
the
upper
management
directly.
They
are
the
ones
that
foster
these
conditions
and
continue
to
make
no
improvements.
