You will likely wait to death & get covid instead of being cured. You can expect to wait like 8-9 hours before getting cured (NO JOKE), in the main waiting room suspect-covid and not-covid patient are divided, as soon as you get to the next level (just climb the stairs to go in the second waiting room), everybody is mixed covid or not. In the covid area multiple people are not even wearing mask (I think the covid area of a hospital is the first place where you should wear it instead of other absurd places), and nurses and doctor don't even bother to tell them to put it on. Here waiting last other hours, endless hours, you will likely get in at midday and you are gonna be LUCKY to get the last subway home at midnight. Hostipital itself is clean and well maintained, and people working there are kind, also doctors are well prepared, the problem is in the managment, it feels like a movie, not reality. Easier going to Bern or any other nearby city and be cured there.

I went their early in the morning (around 10am I was there), then I waited 1 hour to see urgency reception, who redirected me to upper floor. There, I waited my whole day to see a doctor. All patients that came after me got to see the doctor though emergency level of everyone was 3/4. I even asked the lady at reception why it’s happening and she said I don’t know maybe the issue seems more urgent, but again no one had urgency number of 1/2 (which mean highly urgent). Finally I met assistance of a doctor after 18:00. She checked with her supervisor. The supervisor checked me and said I need a quick surgery and called the day. I waited for the assistant to arrange an appointment with the surgeon, but then the surgeon decided they gave me some prescriptions (without checking me) and sent me off. I was confused and concerned that the fact that it’s end of the day had an effect on their judgment. I talked to the admission, they said, you can have another ticket and wait to see the surgeon. I accepted and waited, after 1 hour they saw me, then the same person from reception talked to the nurse who accepted me in. Then they told me if you like you can talk again to assistant as if we take to emergency you may need to wait for several hours. So at 8 pm I decided to call it the day and just go home. I just wish to update this review and say, indeed the quick surgery was needed. After 4 months the issue persists, but I cannot attend a doctor for now because I was moving from one country to another and do not hold a valid insurance yet.

Horrible experience. I went with an emergency of spinning head and they made me wait for 5 hours without a doctor and then after midnight told me I was not a priority. Then billed me for NOT treating me! Worst experience ever.

NO TREATMENT FOR EYES!!! Told receptionist about my eye needing urgend care due to an infection. Waited for 1h just to get told by the next employee that they don't treat eyes (quite amazing for a university hospital). Was told to go to the eyes hospital Jules-Gonin (which I highly recommend), but this is something that the receptionist could have told me instead of letting me waste my time. If you have eye injuries or infections, don't come here, go to the Hospital Ophthalmic Jules-Gonin and save your time.

Would be nice if the nurse would listen instead of saying “you do not have a pain” How does he knows? My son came here with all the symptoms of sepsis and had to beg to be listen too… Until proven right. The bedside manners are horrible and there is an urgent need to retrain the medical staff.

They simply don’t care about people and rather than training enough nurses and practitioners they’d rather fail 90% of med school students then import god knows what doctors from the third world… awful place. The government can never provide a service decently, but alas Rebeca Ruiz continues the failed policies of her native run down country here… late stage civilisation vibes.

You'll die sooner than get medical help. They didn’t help at all, doctors need to learn. a lot to learn.

Horrible experience. Short version: Endless waiting time for no apparent reason. Inefficient care and organisation. Stay at home unless you are sure you are dying. Long version: I arrived after vomiting with high frequency. They made me wait more than 1 hour (during which I vomited twice) in the waiting room. I was then assigned a bed and I had to wait 5 hours there for the doctor to check on me. I lost count of how many times I vomited at 12, and even had diarrhea. I provided urine and blood for examination and made it clear what my relevant history was. The urine was ignored. As for the blood, they didn't do some tests until I insisted and, even though the results were out of the normal rage by 100% (I am young and fit), they said it was all fine. After hours of being dehydrated, I insisted that I should be treated more rapidly and within 1h30, I was given some medicine to help with the symptoms, rehydrated and sent home, without a diagnosis. There were no patients with high urgency and not a lot of patients in general. The staff was kind, but inefficient. I could have been treated (in this way) in 1 hour and sent home. It would have been better to stay at home, in a more comfortable environment, and be sick for free. I suggest everybody not to go, unless you are sure you are going to die if you don't.

Hopeless and stupid!!! How there are countries where the medical help is free and way, way more faster?! How is this possible?! I'm waiting alongside another lady for over 7 hours.... Awesome

Fuyez pauvre fou ! Peu de sérieux, La perception du temps d'attente... mieux pas trop en parler après 3h t'as l'impression d'avoir fait la journée. Tu ne sais pas quand t'es pris en charge... etc...etc.. bref. Une vrai honte.

Unisanté I Permanence du Flon
Urgent care center
😠 Monday morning around 09:00am my 1.5 years old daughter had an accident near Lausanne Flon where she cut her lip and chin. The wound was clearly open and strongly bleeding. I rushed to find some help, and I entered this place seeking first aid. Then the surprise - the staff categorically refused to...
