Gorgeous view and convenience of location, as well as good facilities in the hotel (when they work). Otherwise,quite poor hospitality and unsatisfying service quality for a 4-star hotel. We stayed 2 nights and the AC was not working in most rooms (seems to be a recurring issue since min. 10 months) in mid hot summer heats with room directly on a noisy main street where opening the window is not convenient. We were offered a simple fan for the room (inefficient w closed window) and only after negotiations the breakfast and tourist tax. Quite non-proactive staff for a 4-star rating

I must say I really liked how the hotel is designed. It is modern and offers nice views from the terrace. The restaurant is also good. Only minus is the bad noise isolation of the room door. You hear everyone walking along the corridor. Maybe it got just forgotten to install that little piece of plastic around the doorframe to noise-isolate the door. I hope the owners fix that soon. Otherwise the rooms are cozy and quiet. Mine did not face the main road but a green wall, which was very relaxing. The bed was good, the bathroom modern and functional. The staff is very nice. In the morning, I took a small walk to the lake nearby. It’s the best way to wake up.

I'm not sure whether the behaviour of the staff was racist or they generally lack hospitality experience. Further, we booked connected rooms as a family and it had a ridiculous view of the back walls. The rooms doesn't have any closets, the water balance of hot and cold is ridiculous, the rooms are small, the hotel doesn't have any adapters (which is weird since swiss uses some special form of plugs). Back to customer care, one time I asked for shampoo since they didn't put, the room service said in 15 min, so after half an hour I called back, no one answered till after several tries. My surprise was the way she answered angrily telling me yes I didn't forget but I'm busy and I'm alone! Ridiculous Edit: 1- You should revisit your definition of spacious. 2- adapters were not available (reception or otherwise), also receptionist said not available when asked to provide 3- your answer says enough about racism. One needs not to elaborate more 🤣

Worst 4 star we ever stayed at. Unhelpful and unfriendly service. Bright room with beautiful scenery (despite main road and train right in front). Too noisy to open windows at night. Not enough parking spaces. Old notes peeling off, amenities that are standard elsewhere need to be specially requested at the reception, dirty balkony. But what a view and location!

I checked in today. When I arrived to the room, my pillow was stained with a 10 cm diameter dark redish stain and a few smaller ones. Absolutely disgusting. I reached downstairs to the front desk to show this. The reaction was "ok, I will change it" (I politely turned down the offer, as there was a second pillow in the bed). No excuses presented, no "we are so sorry for the inconvenience", no customer-orientation. The room smelled like mold when I entered, the bar glasses were not properly cleaned, no slippers available, and friendliness from reception was minimal. This 4 star swiss hotel does not live up to the standards. I wonder where our swiss-quality pride is going.

Great vantage location for exploring Lake Geneva from Montreux, Vevey and Lausanne. The hotel is easily located but not a walking distance from the town centre. The accommodation is superb, top class, elegantly, tastefully furnished, and immaculately clean.There is a range of amenities nearby. The views are absolutely breathtaking and must be experienced to fully take it in. Would definitely be booking this place when next am in this area.

Wunderschöne Aussicht aus dem Zimmer mit riesigen Fenstern mit Blick auf den Genfersee und die Berge. Tolle Lage und ein paar eigene Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Vor dem Hotel ist zwar eine Straße und Schienen aber die Fenster sind gut isoliert. Allerdings Zimmer und Bad etwas kahl und leicht unangenehmer Geruch (evtl vom Teppich o.ä). Leider haben wir einen eher schlechten Service erwischt. Auf Mails vorab wurde nicht geantwortet. Der Wunsch nach Frühstück mit bitte um Beachtung einer Allergie wurde ignoriert. Generell ist das Frühstück, das vom Restaurant nebenan angeboten wird, nicht so toll. Hier lieber auf ein nahegelegenes Café ausweichen.

Sehr schöne Zimmer, bequeme Betten. Wir wurden zu Recht gewarnt, die Fenster auf Seeseite nicht zu öffnen (Mücken, Strassenlärm). Der Service beim Frühstücksbuffet war wegen der vielen Leute vom Cully Jazzfestival überfordert.

We stayed one night here, and it is located and build just to perfection. What a view! The room could have had more cozy-ness to my taste - it is very white-in-white - but functional and in great shape and quality. Breakfast was great, and the free parking is excellent taking the location into consideration.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved the scenery. We did have an issue with our air conditioning going out, but the staff was on top of the situation and moved us to another room as soon as they could. Honestly, the friendliness and the professionalism they showed us alone was worth the stay.

The room was beautiful, and the view was simply amazing. We had informed the hotel we were visiting on our honeymoon and so they had decorated the bed for when we arrived which was a nice surprise. The reception staff could have been a tad friendlier or more welcoming, but that didn’t really impact our stay too much. The restaurant next door to the hotel was also great. Delicious food and the man who served us was incredibly lovely and friendly. Overall we would definitely recommend people visit this region and stay at Hotel Lavaux!

1st class stay and a welcome break, restaurant was excellent and accommodating when we turned up as a group of 9.

Wirklich ein schönes Hotel… die Straße und der Zugverkehr ist ziemlich laut, aber die Fenster halten die Geräusche gut ab. Schöner Ausblick.

Not bad , but not a 4 star hotel quality.

Direkt an der stark befahrenen Strasse und neben der Eisenbahn. Teils Blick auf den See und hinten auf die Weinberge. Zimmer grosszügig und sauber. Garage vorhanden. Essen im Restaurant sehr gut und Service top.

Wir waren von Sonntag auf Montag mit der ganzen Familie, 24 Personen, im Hotel Lavaux. Von der Preisanfrage zur Reservation bis zum Checking und der Zimmerservice hat wie immer alles bestens funktioniert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich das Hotel ist sauber und man kann seinen Aufenthalt geniessen. Wir wählen jeweils die Zimmer zur Nordseite diese sind perfekt um bei offenem Fenster ruhig zu schlafen. Bei schönem Wetter und einem Glas Wein auf der Dachterrasse zu sitzen und den Blick über das Lavaux und den Lac Leman zu geniessen ist eine Wohltat.

Super Essen im Restaurant, das Bett ist bequem und der Ausblick auf den See wunderschön. Freundliches Personal welches französisch und englisch spricht. 5 Sterne für das 4 Stern Hotel am See. Gerne wieder. 😊 Bilder: Abendessen und der Blick aus dem Zimmer.

Gute Saubere Zimmer, Parkplätze vorhanden direkt vor dem Hotel, Lage Top für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Frühstück nicht der Rede Wert, Service allgemein eher dürftig. Hotel hat wenig Ausstattung. Preis eher hoch

We had a fantastic stay at one of the Panorama Rooms on the third floor. Stunning views, beautiful terrase and well designed room! Staff is friendly and the area around the hotel just breathtaking. Cully is a short walk away as are several beaches for a dip in Lake Geneva.

Fabulous location, views across the Lake and the service. Room extremely nice, spacious and air conditioned. Epesses station 5 minutes walk for direct trains to Lausanne, Vevey & Montreux. Lavaux transport card free from hotel and covers free train & bus journeys between Lausanne & Montreux.

Delicious food and comfortable rooms with all amenities. The chef conquered my stomach and heart. 😊
