Check-in via the downstairs bar. A bit odd. Room ridiculously small and boiling hot. Not even room for two suitcases, luckily we only had two small backpacks. The bed was as long as the room and I had to walk over my sleeping partner to go to the bathroom. Tiny sink, which I even struggled to access to brush my teeth. Icing on the cake: no air conditioning, only a fan on the ceiling. Will certainly not come back.

I had such a wonderful experience in this hotel. The staff was super friendly, my bed and pillow was so comfy, the location was excellent, the hotel design very stylish and the gifts were the sweetest. I take great memories from here and will definitely return. I LOVE this hotel!!!

To be honest we were a bit disappointed by this Ibis Styles hotel. Usually we always have good experiences while staying in an Ibis Styles hotel, and yes, staff was friendly, but oh my, what a small room we had. There was no room to hang up your clothes, or to put any of your stuff away. There was only one coat hanger and not even a hook to hang your coat on. Some of the power outlets didn't work anymore. The hotel provided free water and juice in the room and they offered sun glasses as a gift. The bed was very small and surrounded by three walls, meaning that my partner had to climb over me when he wanted to go to the toilet during the night. Not convenient at all. The sink was encapsulated between the outer wall and the wall of the shower, which meant there was hardly any room to even wash your face. You couldn't even put a tooth brush on the sink! The room did have a separate shower and toilet, but I would have preferred that they would have remodelled the room as to make better use of the available space. Really this room was not practical at all. We payed 15 CHF for the breakfast which was very basic (some bread, cheese, cut meat, hard boiled eggs and yoghurt) but fresh. The hotel provided free water during the whole day.

I would describe this place as cheap and cheerful. It was exactly what we were looking for when we spent one night here on our way through Switzerland. The rooms are small but cosy and the staff were helpful. The location is great as it’s close to transport links and plenty of bars and restaurants around.

The room is a bit small (compact) with a small shower and toilet area. The basin is small and narrow. But it's Clean. There is hair dryer in the room, and Iron is available upon request. This place is about the location and accessibility. It's right next to the Metro station with a few lines running to/from or through it. Walking distance to key areas of interest. Very friendly staff manning the reception and bar/lounge. They gave complimentary beer.

The rooms are very small, just enough to fit a double-bed, shower, sink, and toilet. On the toilet, however, I barely dared to close the door as it was that tight, the shower door nearly touches the bed when opening and reaches across the carpet, which after the shower gets wet. There is no work desk or chair to put clothes and no wardrobe to store the content of your luggage when staying for a few nights. What's more is that the reception area is integrated into the cocktail bar on the ground floor, which plays music until at least midnight on Fri/Sat which can be heard up in the rooms (I stayed on 2nd floor). Outside, given the hotel's location, is also party and socialising until late at night (none of the hotel's fault, but good to consider when thinking of booking this hotel). It's brilliantly connected by metro and conveniently close to the main train station (only 2 stops on the metro or about a 10min walk). There is also a rooftop on the hotel (views are restricted to the square on which the hotel is located). In the room, complimentary water (both still and sparkling) as well as coffee machine, tea, shampoo, soap, shower gel etc. are provided. The room comes with a safe and hairdryer. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sink placement not designed well as well as the rabbit bolted to the table. Shower did not drain well as well as it being flush to the floor. No explanation of the room features. No A/C or temperature controls in room. Noise outside of hotel continued until 2am all nights. Breakfast was all cold and not appropriate for being charged. Napkins were way too small and black (ridiculous). Entrance to hotel not displayed outside. NEVER AGAIN!

Practical hotel in the middle of everything right next to the metro station. You get a free drink at the bar and a public transportation ticket to anywhere. Rooms were small but well designed. Our only discomfort was the bed. Aside from that, everything was very good and well thought of.

Can't open the windows and no AC, and zero air circulation. Super noisy because of the thin walls. The shower and toilet are in a cupboard, literally. The rooms are not clean and the bed is old and used. More like a hostel rather than a hotel. Not worth the price. Great location it you're heading out and enjoying the nightlife.

Nice staff & location. Lots of free amenities & benefits with the Mad Card, free public transport around the city. Only thing we did not like it's that you cannot open the window so there was fresh air in the room

I really liked this hotel. The coffee machine and complimentary drinks were a real winner. Loved the decor. The staff were wonderful. Good location too. Only thing I didn't like was the wet room style bathroom but no big deal.

Great atmosphere and we really loved the fan in the room to keep the temperature low on hot days.

An amazing hotel in an excellent part of the city. We had not been to Lausanne before and picked this from the Accor App. Glad we did. It's well located and close to transport options. One bit of advice, if you come by train, get off at Lausanne Gare, get the Metro one stop to Lausanne,-Floss, it's one stop and you don't have to climb a big hill. The hotel is literally next door. Also in Lausanne the hotel will give you a card that gives you free public transport. If you travel outside of Lausanne, this covers some of the trip, so when we traveled to Montreux we saved 30 francs on return tickets. The roof bar at the hotel is also excellent with great choices for food and drink.

Ibis always a great option, if you stay in Lausanne! Although we stayed in a other Ibis Hotel this year, we still visited the restaurant - it was absolutely amazing! The prices are very affordable and the look of the drinks are so cute. You can see, the waitor tried his best to make a nice drink - and it turned out absolutely fabulous! Thank you Ibis - we'll be back next year!

The location of the hotel is extremely good, best place to move around. The people working there is super nice, and help you with everything. The room is comfortable, maybe a bit small if you need a desk to work with a computer, but still very cozy. The bar downstairs is awesome. Thanks for everything

Located in the town centre, the Mad Ibis style is really close to everything you need to see in Lausanne. Three very expensive car parks at a walkable distance, for which the reception can handle a voucher to get a 50% discount. The style is very nice, to an extent bizarre, but indeed welcoming. Space-wise, depending on the room, you might not find this place welcoming. Our room, 27, was very small. I'm tempted to say a single rather than a double. I barely had space to put out two suitcases and move around. The sink, a microscopic lavatory next to the window, was confined in a corner with a table on the back, making its usage a big challenge. There was no space to put any toiletries or even the towels. Nice TV, with a great selection of channels in different languages. A proper Nespresso coffee machine and a free bottle of water were served during the stay. The bar at the entrance is a real nice addition to this place, where you can spend some nice time listening to the music. The personnel are really exquisite.

If you are traveling by yourself, this is a very good place to stay for a couple of days, rooms are decored in a crazy way, ventilation but no AC. Location is just excellent and service is very welcome. Breakfast is very poor in term of choice...

very unsatisfactory night: customers of the hotel's rooftop bar screamed until 2 am, in the corridors, in the elevators, in the stairs. This didn't seem to bother the staff of the bar, they must not know they work in a hotel. I complained the day after to management, as i wanted a compensation for not being able to sleep, was only offered reward points, and told it's really a shame i didn't complain on the night. Avoid this place if you're trying to sleep...

Great hotel in middle of Lausanne. Discounts at nearby bars and restaurants. Plus a free travel pass for each day (which normally costs about 9 Swiss francs). There is even a bar on the roof and the first drink is on the house. Also, next to metro station for both metro lines.

Hotel is in a perfect location of the city, a free card is provided for public transport. Cheap hotel considering where it is. Two shortcomings: the possibility of having an opening window in the room and the air conditioning. If it's very hot, you can't sleep well.

Wonderful and lively hotel with artsy and comfy rooms. Travelled solo and the smallest queen bed room was good enough for me but may be a bit too tight for a couple with bigger luggage. There were a few free goodies in the room (incl coffee, candy, condoms) and everything was clean and modern. Considering the party area and the bar downstairs, the place is very quiet and pleasant. Would not want to stay in any other hotel in Flon!
