our
waiter
(skinny,
european
man
with
grey
hair
and
glasses)
provided
us
with
the
worst
service
we
have
experienced
in
switzerland.
he
was
rude
and
condescending
from
the
moment
we
stepped
foot
into
the
restaurant.
it
was
our
first
time
patronising
the
place
and
he
got
frustrated
that
we
didn't
immediately
understand
his
desire
for
us
to
enter
the
restaurant
through
an
adjacent
entryway
into
the
terrace
and
got
snappy
when
he
realised
he
had
to
communicate
to
us
in
english
instead
of
french.
when
we
asked
politely
for
a
food
menu
he
responded
passive
aggressively
as
if
we
were
asking
something
hugely
unreasonable
of
him.
he
then
informed
us
impatiently
that
the
kitchen
would
be
closing
soon
and
we
only
had
two
minutes
to
decide
what
to
eat.
when
we
asked
for
the
bill
at
the
end
of
the
meal,
he
dramatically
tossed
an
empty
coin
dish
passive
aggressively
on
the
table.
the
entire
experience
was
uncomfortable
and
almost
comical.
the
other
staff
we
interacted
with
were
nothing
but
warm
and
lovely,
which
made
his
behaviour
all
the
more
bizarre.
bad
service
aside,
the
calamari
starter
we
had
was
delightful.
the
lamb
curry
was
also
above
average
although
the
small
dishes
that
came
along
with
it
(daal,
spiced
rice
etc)
were
rather
bland.
