Had lunch at Takayama, and we liked the quality and friendliness. Place: very close to Ouchy and the lake. They have a terrace and 2 floors inside. Decorated in a western-asian way. Beautiful pottery. Service: kind and friendly, ok in terms of speed and accurate with the order despite being a large table. Food: quite tasty, some things were a bit overpriced tho. Gyozas really nice. gyudon was taste and a big portion. Sushi looked fresh and was prepared by the sushi chef live. Miso soup was ok. Overall was a good experience and would probably repeat.

Sushi is really good here! 🍣 The rice is perfect here, unlike some sushi chains in Lausanne. The veggie tempura was good but a bit too expensive in my opinion: 26 CHF. Mochis were good too! Green tea & cherry blossom. Friendly service and decent timing.

Lovely place with fresh food and fast service. Sushi was melting and tempura to die for! Location is good too. Feel like can eat there everyday for the rest of my life!

Restaurant without light outside, eating in the darkness. Noodle super salty. Paid 66CHF for a bill without receiving a thanks.

The reception was very friendly including the service. The restaurant is fairly accessible also for disabled. All food was tasty and well plated and arrived in reasonable time. We will return next time in Lausanne.

This place has a very nice atmosphere. The Sushi is incredibly good, the mochi delicious and the Staff friendly. Highly recommend going there

Really happy with this restaurant not only for sushi but for other Japanese delicacies, the quality/price is more then fair and the service is super quick. If you look for Japanese food this is the one you should go.

-1st time : we got sushi and tempura, this was a 5 stars meal , we were really impressed with the quality -2nd time we got gyozas, then unagi on rice and shrimp yakisoba. We were really disappointed with everything- the yakisobas were chinese sautees noodles (as mentionned by the waitress) with no yakisoba sauce & basic frozen shrimps. The unagi on rice was a disaster on hard sushi rice (not typical) . This was 2-3 stars meal Service is always 4-5 stars ⭐️

We went spontaneously and were impressed with how clean the restaurant was. Good service and the sashimi was really, really good. The tuna was particularly fresh, as were the scallops which my sister raved about. Seems a popular place with the locals too. They do take-out and home delivery.

So the all 3 times I ate there, the service was just horrible. Couldn't understand, slow. The forth time I was just passing by to get green tea ice cream and a waiter refused to take an order because "it's not a restaurant to eat dessert" - he said.

Tasty sushi and friendly staff. Even got welcome appetizer on the house. My three words to describe the dinner: Enjoy, Comfort, Repeat.

The sushi are super fresh and delicious especially the mochi they were the highlight of my meal (I got sakura and green tea, green tea was a bit too sweet but Sakura but really delicious) the environment of the restaurant was also really nice the staff was friendly and polite even though I was waiting for quite a long time for my food (but understandable because there was only one chef) overall I was very pleased with the service and food and will definitely visit again.

Very nice as usual. The eel is amazing, you need to try it! As a desert, fried banana and mochi on shakura flavor it was the perfect ending. !!

We ordered a large sushi boat, we were charged 100 Fr for Half of what was supposed to be on the boat, which was mainly maki. When I asked , he got impatient and unfriendly and only offered some weird excuses.. Not very happy

If you are craving some really good sashimi, that is the place to go to! UNBELIEVABLE!

Great food - we ordered a very tasty miso soup and gyozas . As main course we ordered chicken noodles and a beaf typical plate very good quantity and tasty. Clearly cooked in the moment.

Excellent sushi and a must-do with the super-worthy Japanese hot pot: we opted for the seafood one. At start it seemed like it wasn’t enough, but it was plenty enough in the end !

Very nice Japanese. Lovely quality with very nice sushi. Super nice wine selection as well. All fresh ingredients and nice taste. Friendly and attentive staff. Reasonable prices. Great.
