The food here is the definition of mediocrity but that alone does not warrant me writing a review. What made my experience absolutely terrible was the service we received here - our waiter was rude, dismissive, and condescending in the way he treated me and my elderly parents. For anyone who is visiting and does not speak French - do NOT come here. It isn’t worth it. My experience with this restaurant left me with a terrible impression of Lausanne and I regret ever coming here. You couldn’t pay me 10,000€ to come back because then that means I would be supporting this sad excuse for a restaurant. A trip to a beautiful city and country, ruined by terrible food and even worse people.

Great place but beware of the hidden costs. The food, the service and the atmosphere is amazing. They even have an English menu, very appreciated. The warm goat cheese with figs and the Cordon Bleu were out of this world and the portions are very generous. However there were some minor moments that brought the total bill up, like asking us whether we wanted water and then bringing us a bottle and charging for it; also asking what kind of sauce I'd like with the meal, but that souce is extra, of course. In any case, worth it.

Beautiful traditional restaurant along Lake Geneva for fondue. We tried the tomato fondue and the champagne and truffle fondue which were delicious. You can order single portions rather than a large fondue so you can try different flavours. Some of the best fondue we've tried in Switzerland!

Amazing food, great service and lovely atmosphere! Two different sources recommended this restaurant when we asked for a great place to eat fondue. And they were not wrong! We were met with great service at the restaurant, even though they actually were fully booked and we needed a table for six people. We got a great table, and had an amazing meal consisting of fondue with Prosecco and truffle + dried meat, tortellini with truffle, entrecôte and bruschetta. The location was amazing with a table outside. We will definitely return to this cozy and authentic restaurant at our next trip!

Our family recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and we had an amazing time! The food, from starters to main courses, was incredibly delicious, and the desserts were simply delightful. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left us wanting more. What made the experience even more special was the breathtaking lake view from the restaurant. It added a sense of tranquility and beauty to our meal, creating a truly memorable atmosphere. Whether you're planning a family lunch or dinner, this restaurant is an excellent option that won't break the bank. They offer a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes, making it easy to find something for everyone. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a family gathering. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our visit. We left the restaurant with satisfied bellies and happy hearts. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious food, mouthwatering desserts, and a stunning lake view, all while staying within a reasonable budget, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. It's a hidden gem that guarantees a delightful dining experience for the whole family.

Pleasant cafe on the edge of Lake Geneva. Indoor and outdoor seating. Outside seating has nice lake views. Large menu including fondues and rösti. Got the Rösti burger and the fondue both of which were excellent. Staff were friendly with some who spoke limited English.

One of the most typical restaurants to try a Swiss Fondue in Lausanne. By FAR. The atmosphere is unique, and you will leave the place with your weight in cheese.

Our family had a great experience at dinner. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English, and the reverse side of the menu was in English. We tried the escargot, bruschetta, fondue with potatoes, and the spicy rösti burger. We also had ice cream and meringue for dessert. We enjoyed everything! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

The Corden Bleu I had was delicious and filling. Cheese was fragrant and soft, while the meat was tasty and nicely seasoned. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here with beautiful ambience, friendly staff and good service. 💯 Will come back next time to try the fondue here

My husband and I had a great, no amazing, experience here. We Re on our honeymoon on the off season in winter and since there was a language barrier and the owner, who was short staffed, new we were American, he gave us the best fondue experience! At the end of the evening he served us limoncello and cognac as an after dinner aperitif and told us it was on the house. He was so happy to treat us to the incredible experience of Swiss tradition and we are grateful. 100% recommend if you and your significant other want a quiet and kind dinner!

Food was good. Had to go to the cash machine as they didn’t take card. Service was hard to get when we needed it. I got some escargot and shared a fondue.

The location is amazing. We ate here at sunset and had picturesque views of the lake, highly recommend getting seated outside. We got two fondues and a rosti. They were very accommodating and removed the cheese from the rosti. The truffle fondue was great, tomato fondue was underwhelming. Service takes a while so please be patient, the food is great and with the views I am not complaining. Do not skip on the tiramisu.

Friendly and attentive wait staff. Helped us overcome our language barrier. The warm goat cheese salad with fig mustard was delicious! Escargot also a big hit. Would come here again and try to sit outside.

Fondue was wonderful. The staff was friendly and funny. The toilettes were clean and smelled good. The only downfall was the hard chairs. Otherwise, the atmosphere, especially inside, was very classy.

One Star, because zero is not possible. So normally I am not someone who writes a feedback but it was the most embarrassing experience I did so far. We went to the local without a reservation on December 8, 2021. The local was full downstairs so we got a seat upstairs which was pretty beautiful from the interior. Upstairs was nobody siting beside my companion and me. We wanted to eat a cake and also drink some cappuccino. The waitress was pretty upset about our choice and told us that 'her boss will kill her if she serves us just something small to eat and drink' and doesn't wanted to serve us. So we had to leave the local and we felt really embarrassed by the way and manner how we were treated.

The steak was really good, home-made fries, dressing Italian style, not salty! the view is awesome if you’re outside :) the service ok. Not accurate sometimes

Wonderfully authentic Swiss-French dining, delicious food and an engaging host. Well worth trying the Roesti Morel, these mushrooms are as tasty as they are hard to find.

A very traditional space, small and cozy. we were the first to arrive but the place quickly filled up. we ate the most popular dish “fondue moite-moite” and it was very good. the wine was also good, a Sauvignon Blanc from the region but a bit pricey for a white wine.

Not recommend, I am not a meat eater but from time to time I like to try a good quality meat. After TRI competition in Lausanne I wanted to eat beef carpaccio. I had the worst beef carpaccio ever, meat was stringy and chewy. Couldn’t finish. On plus salad was fresh and tasty, staff very helpful.

My wife and I were in Switzerland visiting a friend and took a chance on a local restaurant before meeting our friend. We’re so glad we did!! The decor was beautiful and quaint and we instantly got a warm welcome from Florian. We opted for the Menu Fondue. Wow!! It came with a meat platter, half and half fondue with potatoes and bread, pineapple carpaccio, limoncello, coffee and we were even surprised with a delicious double cream meringue to finish. The service from Florian was fantastic and would definitely recommend to those visiting Lausanne.
