One of my favorite palaces in the Lake Geneva region for relaxing, Wellness and enjoying fine cuisine. The main and old building is beautiful. Executive rooms are spacious, comfortable and majestic. The concierge is the best - young, dynamic highly competent. The garden of the lounge is beautiful. I highly recommend their club sandwich two you will have an idea how fine their cuisine is - best French fries I have ever enjoyed in the last years. The Terrasse of the restaurant is fantastic for enjoying breakfast. I like omelet with fresh cheaper and salmon. They always serve me the best Omelett! A huge bravo to the staff!

Great hotel. Great rooms(especially the bathrooms). Very nicely decorated. Some details: Every day that i was in the lobby asking for « FRESH ORANGE JUICE », I got Tropicana instead. Maybe i am mistaking but i am pretty sure it was not freshly squeezed orange juice. Is it even imaginable that in a 5* hotel they cheat you by serving something else that what you asked for. Maybe we looked stupid to the lobby bar I don’t know. The other thing is that 1 of the valet parking gentleman was not very happy with us asking him everyday to park our car. He just didn’t look happy what can I say. 5* Hotel remember! I have to take 2* away because of this. Otherwise everything else was fantastic.

We had the pleasure of staying here for my significant others birthday treat and it was all we could wish for ! Location & Parking Very easy access, quick to get to by car and an amazing view on the Lac Léman, especially for the higher rooms. Rooms & Beds The room was spacious, luxurious yet classic enough with emphasis on noble materials that was appreciated. Large 🛁 bathtub and shower and we were offered options of cushions to choose from for a dreamy sleep. (Yes, they have a cushion menu !) Restaurants The Brasserie was incredible and right up there with the best Michelin Starred restaurants we had been to. They surprised us with a delicious high quality birthday cake and madame was over the moon ! Service and staff were great, very helpful and always willing ! The spa and pool are gigantic ! The best I have ever had in a hotel, very impressive ! Overall, 10/10 from us over the board. Thanks a lot to all of you who helped make this a memorable stay

Very nice and elegant hotel. Bed is very comfortable. Generous and good breakfast. Spa is very good and offers a nice indoor and outdoor pool. Gym machines are outdated. Some of the staff in the bar are not that friendly. Lobby staff very friendly and attentive. In general quite good with just some details to correct in order to be proper 5 stars. Sky Terrace is amazing.

Amazing hotel in an amazing city! The location is great - just between the lake and the old town - with a tram right at the hotel doorstep. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well appointed. The staff were superb- incredibly helpful and accommodating - from helping with a difficult reservation change to a seamless check in / out, they were there for anything we needed and more. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall, great hotel with good service, food, nice and clean rooms, and beautiful views. People in lobby excellent customer service and very friendly and attentive (thank you to Theo and Spanish bellboy)! Made us feel very welcome and special. Beautiful views from the sky rooftop and the room (nice touch that they offer blankets if you are cold). However, service at lobby bar/restaurant not good. Many people, yet no one attending me when I got there and no one offered menu nor water. Other suggestions: husband complained about the quality of the shampoo and the razors. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning Hotel and spectacular service! As near perfect as it gets on every level. From the Valet/Doorman to Alex at the front desk, Laura and Mak in the bar, the spa, room service, housekeeping. It will be hard to find a perfect stay as ours was here. Super quiet oversize rooms. If you want luxury relaxation accommodations in Lausanne this is the place, they take care of everything! Will definitely be back!

I stayed here some years back and really enjoyed it. The service and amenities were excellent. Hermes toiletries, gold in the cocktails and they gave me an upgrade! I took off a star because I don't believe children should be allowed as it takes away from an otherwise elevated experience.

Amazing all around. Excellent location, staffs, rooms, etc. Eddy went above and beyond for us to make sure we had everything we needed. Check out their roof top bar sure. It's beautiful.

Really lovely hotel. Our room was excellent, the service was great, and we made full use of the spa and pool, which were very nice and relaxing. Breakfast was nice too, though there is some room for improvement here. The selection was ok.

We recently had the opportunity to stay in two excellent LHW properties in Lausanne and Vevey. This short review covers our two nights stay in the Hotel Royal Savoy in Lausanne. The entire experience we had during our stay showcased what a formidable luxury hotel this property is. Our booking was made with Virtuoso and tied to my LHW membership. We were very lucky to have been upgraded to a spacious lake view room, which was very well appointed and furnished with modern amenities. The fresh orchids was an unexpected nice touch as well. Shower strength was great. Housekeeping standards was top-notch: even the balconies of our room were kept tidy and clean. Noise insulation was perfect. Service was its strength. It was, in my opinion, the distinguishing factor between a generic five stars property and a luxury property that goes beyond it. From check-in to check-out, everyone had a smile and just wanted us to have a great stay. We were warmly welcomed by Sophie in the front desk who, together with her colleagues, were determined to make our stay in Lausanne truly memorable from Day 1. The room service gentlemen were very kind and had no issues trying to arrange the table for us to have dinner at the small verandah, and promptly removed the dishes once the dinner is over. (In fact, it was the best room service performance we have experienced so far in our life). The ladies in the spa welcomed us warmly and explained the various facilities we could use. I was also originally hesitant about dining in such a posh hotel property because I did not like a chi-chi dining environment. The dining experience was never stuffy. In fact, the service staff at the restaurant during our dinner made our dining experience very enjoyable, with wonderful cooking by the chefs, of course. That would be some highlights of my stay. Was it 100% perfect? No stay would be 100% perfect. It was close to. This would easily be one of the most memorable hotel stays, if not the best, we had the opportunity to experience in our lifetime. We were always made to feel welcomed and to treat this property as a second home throughout my stay. We were sad to leave, but we look forward to returning again.

We stayed here for a night as a birthday surprise for my partner. We loved it from beginning to end! Especially the staff made it a succes, all very helpful and friendly without exaggerating. Very thoughtful to bring a birthday cake to the room! Make sure you make a reservation at the sky lounge, one of the highlights with perfect views over Lac Leman.

We had a family room, so basically 2 rooms. Somehow this hotel has no 5 star allure. The swimming pool is very nice and the hairdresser should get 5 star service since this guy is great! Food is actually not very good and breakfast is very poor. Staff is friendly but the rooms are very lousy. You should be careful with allergies when you order food- they don’t have a clue how to deal with that. They should also mention that the rooftop view is not available since they are renovating.

nightmare: rat in the room I am a businessman from Germany and for the second time in this hotel. So far I have found the hotel to be of very high quality, but what happened to me during my last stay is unbelievable. I actually had a rat in my room. After informing the front desk, I was allowed to change rooms but received no apology or discount. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this class. Never again.

I’m just on the train ride back home from our stay at Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne and i am feeling nothing less than relaxed and happy. My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights, with the intention to get out of town for some quality relaxation, yoga and we were not disappointed in any way. Their choice of interior and identity is classy, charming but not conceited. The food, drinks and especially the service was impeccable. I come from the service industry and even felt inspired from their attention to detail, for delivering the most simplest of wishes. Beautiful subtle seating area at the bar/terrace with a garden surrounding you. Absolutely crazy sky lounge. Yoga teacher gets a 10/10 for her immersive passion. Their identity follows through to their Spa area, leaving you with a feeling of relaxation and curiosity for how they will surprise you next. Very recommendable, we will be back.

Always nice atmosphere around the lobby bar, with skilled Batman to create perfect cocktails. The staff is very professional and polite as you can expect in this kind of place

I had the pleasure to stay in this hotel for 2 nights and what a hotel it is. The attention to detail is the best I have ever experienced. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way help you. The garden rooms are extremely spacious and have all the amenities one needs. I also had the pleasure to dine at their restaurant, food was well cooked, tasted brilliant and very well presented. Waiters were again extremely friendly and very helpful. I do hope I get the chance to stay here again.

Shocked that a 5 star hotel doesnt even check if the towels are clean before putting them in a guest bedroom #dirty #unsanitary

Overall a very good, modernly equipped hotel at a nice location with great service. The SPA area is quite small considering the capacity of the hotel and gets busy very quickly. The food quality is good; the lobby, terrace and cigar lounge are great. Organization, food availability and service at breakfast time can be improved. The bar/terrace personnel are exceptional. We were particularly pleased with the excellent service offered by Mr. Casper Barreto, the bar/terrace manager. A highly experienced professional demonstrating a lot of empathy for the guests and providing a first class service! We hope that the Hotel Management recognizes the importance of such experienced staff supervisors like Mr. Barreto and will be able to retain talent in the long run. This would be a reason for us to return to this hotel. Last but not least we were very pleased with the great Concierge service offered by Loris Ottier - a clear advantage over other hotels.

This hotel is still my top favorite when traveling to Lausanne, 6 years after my first review via another platform. - Neat, chic yet modern, without this overstated decoration I cannot stand in many traditional 5-star hotels (you know, those ones which decoration would give you nightmares full of pastel colors and ugly patterns). - Food is delicious, with an ever changing menu. - The Royal Savoy is 10 minutes walking distance from the lake, and is high enough in the city so that you do your workout from the lake shores to the hotel (you literally « climb back to the hotel for 10 good minutes 😅… or you just take the metro for 2 stations, free of charge thanks to the public transportation voucher given at the hotel) - The staff, no matter at the lobby, bar, restaurant, spa or the conciergerie, are all friendly and willing to give you the best guest experience. Loris the Concierge is the Mission Impossible man. - The Valet offered to charge my car’s battery. - Dress code is casual chic. - And while I joked around Easter at the bar, the waitress told the staff to leave Easter eggs and a chocolate rabbit in my room! All this comes with a Swiss price tag which remains decent for a true 5-star offer.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in September at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout. Room: We stayed in one of the most basic rooms. It was nice and still a good size, on the second floor, with a small terrace. The bathroom was a little bit small but had a very good bath in it, as well as a standing shower. The water pressure for the shower was unfortunately quite weak, which I would recommend improving. Turndown service was offered but didn't come back one evening after we asked them to because we were still using the room. Food & Drink: The Brasserie downstairs was good, but the Sky Lounge upstairs is really what you shouldn't miss. It was closed for a portion of time due to a wedding event, so make sure you try and get a drink there whenever you get the chance. Amazing views of the lake, seating inside and outside, the croquettes we ate were very good. Gym & Spa: There is a gym with some equipment available, enough for a variety of workouts. The spa is very nice. A warm pool which has half inside, half out. Hottub and cold tub in another room alongside a sauna and steam room. Spent a fair few hours around here. Location: 5 min downhill walk to the lake, 15 min walk uphill into the centre of Lausanne. The hotel also gives you a ticket to use the metro and bus transport around the city for free. This is very useful because the city is quite hilly. Overall: Despite a couple of small improvements that I mention above, it was a great stay that I would recommend to others.

👍 I’ve visit this place a couple of times and I’ve enjoyed each one of it. I always choose the same burger though. 7/10. The employees could smile a bit more maybe? I know it’s a hard job but well… smiling is free! I’ll be back 😌
