Went for a hiking whole day, so we were looking for an early dinner before heading back home. So we searched and reserved a table for two at 17h00 via TheFork. But when we announced our reservation, the service crews and the owner said they don't open for dinner before 18h00. The owner said she also didn't receive a notification from TheFork about our reservation. So it's not their fault that our reservation wasn't valid for them. She asked us to wait for another hour, if we still wanted to dine. With the tone and the way she talked to the customers, I don't think we won't even put our feet there again. Notes: I still have two-star because I'm a nice person.

We really liked the food there! To be honest at the first glance the place didn't look as it will offer a culinary delight... We ended up there only because of The Fork app. But what a surprise we've got! Fabulous salmon tartar and entrecote, excellent tiramisu and chocolate fondant to name a few. We only been a few days in Lausanne but managed to dine in Sidewalk cafe twice. We will return when we're back in the city.

We had beef Tartare... Was served with nice homemade french fries and entry salad. Good taste. Served for a low hunger mood.

Nice atmosphere, low lights and friendly staff. Only drinks available in the afternoon.

We booked with The fork, they proposed 50% off promo that day. We arrived on time just before 12.30. Waited 30 min to order (even drinks). Received our food at 14.00 (4x pasta, 1x risotto, 1x agneau, 1x pizza). Chicken in the pasta was extremely dry and hard. The rest was tasty - but after waiting for so long we were just upset. If someone would have worn us, it would be fine but no one mentioned. When we asked about the waiting time at 13.45, we were told it’s normal in restaurants. When we complaint again when we paid the bill - we’ve heard that we paid 50% so “waiting should be acceptable”. Don’t recommend.

Don’t expect to be treated in a friendly way here.

Perfect location, near to every attraction of the city. Delicious caffe and burgers. Would recommend to everyone.

Please don't go there. U'll waste an evening. I had the impression that food was not done there. I wasn't comfortable there anyways. Btw, I've already put this review, but somehow the café was removed and added again!
