Love this place, food is always spot on. That said they have never got the bill correct (last time it was 120chf more, time before that it was 25chf) so always double check the bill but the food is 5/5.

Very friendly staff, good service, amazing food. If you’re a pancakes fan or benedict eggs fan, you should definitely come and try them here for your next brunch! Great atmosphere and a beautiful place!

The service is good the staff is nice ! But the food and drinks are disappointing 🥲 we order ice chocolate and ice matcha latte but has no taste 🤦🏻‍♀️ The food are super normal as well… but the renovation is awesome for sure… hope they can look into these soon

Nice place, but when its busy it’s vey chaotic, lots of people standing in a line to get their tables, tables are too close to each other and food quality has decreased so much since the last time I visited. I visited specifically for their delicious pain perdu that used to be served with fresh fruit compote which is unique, unfortunately the bread was burnt and bitter and they no longer serve it with fruit compote.

Ordered the fish and chips, which included deep fried prawns and cod. The prawns were still grey in colour... so they refried them. I'm a huge fan of this practice! This place is hit and miss anyway and today was definitely a "miss". This is a shame as it's a really nice restaurant with good staff.

Hey, Loxton, do better. While the food is good, I can safely say the staff ruined our Sunday lunch/brunch and they probably won't see us again. If the lunch reservation is at 1h30 pm (offered through online service) and the closing time is clearly written (also at the entrance) as 4pm, then why would staff passively aggressively (emphasis on aggressively) start to kick the customers out before 3pm? First staffer came to take the "last call" order before 3pm telling us they close at 3.30, then 10min later another staffer came to say they are already closed.. Then we ask him which is it, and he doesn't know. Then excessively loud music, so we have to yell to talk to each other. Then a bill arrives, not so subtly. It's not even 3h10. At 3.12, they bluntly ask us to leave while also turning away other customers (who also read the closing hour downstairs). Here's a tip - if you want to close earlier than your indicated business hours and while customers are still eating, then be decent, come over and 1) explain the situation, 2) apologize and 3) as a classy bonus, offer coffee on the house. We are not unreasonable people, we just don't like to be bullied into leaving by methods worthy of a high-schooler.

Very good food! The service was a little bit slow but I enjoyed my lunch there! I recommend.

The ambiance and the drinks are nice but the dessert was awful and definitely not worth 12-14 chf. The cake and the crumbles were burnt and bitter and ice cream was just average as well.

Lovely place to have evening dinner. The food menu is elegant, the atmosphere is so too but not too much. We were not so hungry so we just had starters and that was fine for them. The cocktail I had was quite good too.

Cold drinks are very good food is decent, but food takes at least 1h to arrive. Management is having difficulty organizing incoming people so wait times are growing. People next to us must have waited 1h20min at least...not ideal for a weekend brunch. Expect to spend the day here.

The appetizers of oysters, escargots and froggies were delicious and fresh. Pretty decorations inside, and a romantic view of Lausanne streets from the outside.

Good for a quick lunch with friends. The menu is quite short and don't go there if you are the picky type. We had a late breakfast served as lunch. Overall tasty, but could be improved in terms of bread and serving two eggs instead of one. Also, it was quite cold in the room. Besides the large interior, they also have a terrace facing the busy center of Lausanne.

Went there for dinner on a Friday night. Fair choice of menu with options for the meat lovers and not only. Service could improve though being Friday evening it was really not an issue. Suggestion: the wine, especially the red one we swank could have been with 2-3 lower than was served to us. Good food, good place, a friendly and witty atmosphere, quite a big of a choice on drinks (congrats on the Gin’s collection). A place to visit and have on the list for a re-visit. Will try their brunch one day and post my review here.

Since it's opening I was coming regularly, at the beginning there was a lot of tapas/sharing plate at a very fair price like some were under 10 and really they were amazing ! Also close of the middle of the menu was vegetarian. Before you could for 100.- for two people enjoy some cocktails-wine-tapas and desert. Yesterday we came, we paid 155.- for two beers, 3 cocktails, two starters and two plates (I mean the risotto was 34.-, this is the price you can expect in a Michelin recommended Italian or even Michelin star Italian restaurant). Also now they have one starter only that is vegetarian and two plates, one of the plate contains the only starter on the menu which for the price, eating two times the same isn't great (27.- for soba noodles). We are very disappointed because we know the quality and how it was before, it was my favourite restaurant in Lausanne, came here to celebrate my anniversaries etc... For that price we will probably go to eat me next time..

Nice place right in the city center for a cocktail (or more!). Nice atmosphere and very well decorated. Fast service and the cocktails were good. They have a small terrace as well.

Food is good, the avocado Toast with eggs is a bit of a joke though, it looks like they want to save on the avocado we only had a very thin spread of avocado on the toast not more than oyu would butter a toast. For the price this is not correct, even for a lesser price anyone would be disappointed on the quantity. It's a bit of a pity they try to save on this details because the food is good and the service is great.

This is one of the staple classy cafes / diner bars in central Lausanne. Perfect for an afternoon or evening meal / drink on the balcony in the summer (or even later, many of the tables outside are under marquées). Good (small) selection of beers, tasty cocktails. Recently went there for a lunch and it didn’t disappoint - green curry with prawns was done very well, with the perfect amount of heat. For dessert we had ‘an autre cappuccino’ - simply amazing crème brûlée with cream from chestnuts and and aniseed. Food is a little on the pricey side but, unlike some places in Lausanne, you know what you’re paying for. EDIT March 2023 - Having recently come back there, the food menu has gotten much simpler and basic, in a bad way. It’ll be a while before i come back for food. Drink wise, the waiter didn’t know what a negroni is.. a little underwhelming. The berry spritz tastes water down and is simply not good. Their basic gin cocktail with berries was good. The kitchen closes at 10 for a bar opened until late - it would be a good idea to have peanuts, olives or crisps to sell after the kitchen closes.. these are basics. If you’re charging 1 chf for a carafe of tap water (« for the climat » what nonsense..), have the waiters say that when the customers make the order, so we can make a conscious decision. And please remove « for climate »..

👍 I’ve visit this place a couple of times and I’ve enjoyed each one of it. I always choose the same burger though. 7/10. The employees could smile a bit more maybe? I know it’s a hard job but well… smiling is free! I’ll be back 😌
