Cockroaches and spiders everywhere. Unbelievable in a 4 star hotel and 150 euros/night.

this hotel was so pricey for no specific reason? the room was SO dirty and i found FOOD on the carpet of my room??!! ceilings have some weird black spots and the room barely comes with any necessities, no slippers no bathrobes and barely any space in the rooms, super rude breakfast staff and most of the food was cold, terrible receptionist and very uncooperative. They even vacuumed the pool when there were guests swimming inside?? cleaning lady even removed the card needed to activate the room various times and cleaning was clearly rushed as for the rooms weren’t that clean overall the worst hotel i have ever stayed at and i do not recommend whatsoever.

This is the first hotel at the 4 star category under accor and novotel chain that they cannot provide hotel slippers due for the reason that our room category cannot be provided slipper!!! This is absolutely shameful and without logic! As if like we are asking for a havaianas slippers! The reception is absolutely a disgrace... This will be the first and last time i will recommend and bring groups here in this hotel! Absolutely shameless! You are not qualified to be a 4star hotel if you can't provide basic necessity for your guests! Shame on you!!!!

Clean, hotel taking steps towards sustainability. Lake/mountain views on one side, view on parking lot, Tesla superchargers, and horses on the backside

Check-in procedure has been long, about 15 min, and very cold, no smile and any welcome words. Temperature in the gym was way too low, about 15 degrees. The room I had was good. I consider that CHF 29.- for the breakfast is too expensive.

So far worst Novotel I ever stayed in. Super small rooms. Bathrooms are on student campus level, room height 2m, super small shower, cladding of the installation was broken and not fixed. TV didn’t work. Really wondering who does room checks here. The restaurant stuff was confused and overwhelmed, even though plenty of people seemed around. We were sitting in front of finished dishes for 30 minutes. During our stay in the hotel the pool area was closed for maintenance, staff was not even considering to do a favor for the kids. Sad stay. Did I mention it is pricy?

Cozy hotel to work in, pool is a natural pond and lots of green and outdoor space. Bit pricy. They could avoid cutting the grass during breakfast hours. Counter service is very friendly

Our stay was wonderful. My husband and I spent 4 nights. we had a wonderful and clean room that also had a balcony. the view of the pool and the mountains is incredible. People were very nice and attentive to our requirements and made our stay incredible. Thank you for everything and we will be back here with great pleasure. I fell in love with this place

For a business hotel you would think the front desk staff would be competent enough to do their job. After countless stays I became increasingly more fed up with dealing with the Front desk. I am asked to verify my billing address prior to check-in but I lost count of how many times the bill ends being wrong anyway. The staff at reception always seem disinterested in their jobs and seem to have lost any passion they might have had. You should have a better grasp of what is important for your guests and in my case I had made it clear on multiple occasions it was a bathtub but this simple request was rarely met despite mentioning many times I would rather wait longer for such a room than have an early check-in. My advice to others would be to pay a little extra and stay at the Movenpick. I honestly regret not having done this sooner.

Nice room, attentive staff, bit far but not if you arrive by car.

I stayed here a couple of days ago. I was with tour groups. Rooms, facilities, breakfast are all nice and perfect. One thing that annoyed me most is the attitude of one of the female staff at the breakfast area. We all know that not everybody in the group tour will have the same background and table manner. At that time there are 2 groups and the eating place very crowded. The staff look very unpleasant and rude. The way she clean the table and prepare a new table was so rough, I can tell by the sound. If novotel can't accept people with different culture, better not to take big group from other countries. Cause I can see the differences she treated other guest which speak her language with a lot of smiles and greeting. I really feel annoyed even I only watched the way she worked.

I cant say anything about the comfort or the hotel experience because I never got a chance to stay here, however I can speak about the customer service. If I were to sum it up in two words its unsympathetic and heartless. The staff and management do not care about the customer or their circumstances and will say anything to not give a refund. My fiancé and I had not traveled internationally in over 5 years and this would have been our first trip together. We were denied boarding at the airport because my fiancé’s passport did not meet Switzerland’s 3 month validity rule for passport expiration. Her passport would expire in September and we were traveling June 27 - July 5th. We were not aware of this rule as we haven’t really done much international travel, although I admit we could have done more research. So you can imagine how devastated and upset we were to find this out at the airport, all packed and ready for our trip. We had to turn back and there was no way for us to get an expedited passport in less than a day due to all the wait times brought about by COVID. We booked this hotel at a non-refundable rate, however I don’t think it matters because even if we had booked a refundable rate we would have missed the cutoff time to request a refund as we would be staying here the day after our flight. We explained the circumstances to the hotel staff and management and pleaded for an exemption to get a refund, however we were shut down and refused a refund after multiple attempts. The hotel staff kept deflecting and insisting that I must contact the travel agency I booked with which was Priceline. I had already reached out to Priceline multiple times and they would not approve a refund unless the hotel approved a refund. Priceline suggested I could try and reason with the hotel which is why I contacted them directly. However, there was no reasoning with the hotel staff. We had back and forth communication over email and they didn’t consider me their customer, they considered Priceline the customer and did not want do deal with me. I even asked if a partial refund was possible but still got denied. This just shows that they value a measly $900 over any circumstance the customer might be experiencing. I would stay clear of this hotel and don’t count on any refundable rates to help either because if the timeframe for a refund passed, they will not give a refund.

Good location for a holiday (many sights within one hour, like Vallorbe Caves and Gruyeres) or a stopover (near highway), friendly staff, nice outside swimmingpool, tasty breakfast and a big Samsung smart tv (Netflix via smart view van Samsung :-). Finally I woud like to compliment the housekeeping. Thank you! We enjoyed the hotel and stayed for 4 nights.

This is not a nice hotel. Well... it is not entirely bad but not very well maintained. Especially the housekeeping does not do their job well - I saw two rooms during my stay and both of them had hair and stains on the ceiling in the bathrooms (see photos) and the space uder the bed was not vacuumed well either. The family room was very small and did not differ much in size from a double room. Breakfasts are pricy (I cannot review them.) There is sauna there and an outdoor pool, the restaurant on site is also very good.

Very nice hotel right outside Lausanne. Tesla supercharger in the parking, very convenient for those interested. Hotel is very clean, modern in its design. Cocktail bar is somewhat expensive, but quality is surprisingly good. Loved the breakfast buffet, with plenty of gluten-free options for those of us genetically challenged. Prices are in line with the region/season. Will no doubt come back!

Hotel has good parking facilities, close to motorway but quite poor WiFi connection in the room. Bath and shower tiny, TV program international. Restaurant is ok and staff friendly. Overall feels rather *** than ****

  • 1/5 Дмитрий . 1 year ago on Google
Just horribly organised. The hotel put Tesla superchargers on its territory, but did not organize a normal entry/exit from the territory. It's always a problem! There is a barrier, at the entrance from it opens automatically. Departure is a problem every time! The barrier is closed. Help either does not speak English at all or speaks, but requires confirmation of charging! How can I confirm charging if I am charging for free? Terrible service!

Hotel is alright for a quick stay. The fact that you have to pay for parking is strange, previous in Novotel hotels we never paid. For a 4* hotel is a touch you should offer to your customers. "Spa" , so called is not Spa, is a sauna and hamamm which smell awful, is in the middle of a tiny fitness, so someone is running next to you while you relax in the sauna 😃.I will never return as per the price of stay you can find much better. Staff is friendly. Alright breakfast

Very friendly staff (and cat) and the room was amazing. The restaurant staff especially very helpful even when they have some problem understanding English, but they always look really eager to help. They offer us to try more food as they were plenty of options.
