We have been here just for brunch, Nice location facing the lake with stunning views. Historical atmosphere combined with great attention to maintenance and service. Definitely a well managed location and food.

Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne is a stunning building with a rich history that's worth a visit. The architecture is a masterpiece, and the well-manicured garden is simply breathtaking, with views overlooking Lake Geneva. This hotel has been an iconic landmark for over a century, and has hosted many prominent guests including royalty, celebrities and political figures. It has also played a significant role in Lausanne's cultural and social scene. The hotel's elegant interiors are beautifully designed and well-maintained, reflecting its historic significance. The gardens provide a serene and peaceful environment for guests to relax and enjoy the view. If you're interested in the history of the area, a visit to the Beau-Rivage Palace is a must. The hotel's charm, luxury and historic importance make it an unforgettable experience that's not to be missed.

We came for the afternoon tea. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. They had a lady that was playing the harp for us which was a wonderful surprise.

Five stars all the way around. The staff, the service, the rooms, the restaurants, the spa, the breakfast, the views. The most peaceful and beautiful place I have ever stayed. Truly exceeded all expectations. Absolutely book here! You won't regret it.

Our love story began in the enchanting city of Lausanne, and to celebrate our civil wedding, we chose the exquisite Beau-Rivage Palace. The experience was nothing short of magical — the meticulous attention to detail and exceptional service from every staff member made us feel incredibly welcome. From the moment we got out of the car, the warmth and hospitality enveloped us. Each staff member's dedication to ensuring our celebration was perfect added a special touch to our stay. Beau-Rivage Palace not only provided a luxurious backdrop for our special day but also created an atmosphere of romance and elegance that enhanced our overall experience. The spa, restaurants, and bar all contributed to an unforgettable experience. The spa's tranquil atmosphere and skilled therapist provided the perfect relaxation. Dining was a culinary delight, with diverse menu options and exquisite presentation. The bar's cozy ambiance and friendly service added to the overall charm. Our decision to celebrate at Beau-Rivage Palace was truly rewarding, and we are grateful for the wonderful memories created during our stay. If you're looking for a venue that combines a romantic setting with impeccable service, Beau-Rivage Palace is the perfect choice for your special celebrations.

I have had a ‘love and hate’ experience during a weekend stay. What I loved: Very professional and friendly staff at the reception, fast check-in, a room with a wonderful view, great room equipment (incl. electric roller shutters, central system to turn off lights), small but beautiful spa, great surrounding and location. What could be improved: Experiences in the lobby bar were weak (15+ minutes for a drink, last drink order at 11:45 pm even on weekends), big bold keys (not sure why this is needed…), some amenities I would expect (there wasn’t a wine carafe available for an expensive bottle of wine at dinner). So lots of positives, but also some elements to improve.

You read about this hotel in magazines and guides but I guess you have to be someone to be treated like you are in a five star hotel. There are trainees at the reception. The concierge sent us to a place you dont want to go if you stay at Beau Rivage. When you leave the hotel and come back, dont expect a nice smile and a hello from the bell boys. The service at breakfast was very poor. The overall atmosphere including the spa is like in a resort and not an ultimate luxury hotel. We asked four times to bring a kettle to the room as there wasnt any, we waited about two hours for it. Yes they brought a kettle but not a cup nor tea. I was sick so I needed a lot of tea not to order one from a room service. I am giving one star for a good houseekeping, one star for a nice refurbished room.

Beautiful room with a view on the lake, excellent service overall. Amazing breakfast buffet with exquisitely prepared delicious dishes. Natural ingredients. Exhilarating decor and gardens. 5 star plus.

Beautiful spot for a drink or aperitif. The best is the garden to enjoy the view and nice weather. They only have low tables outside so it’s more kind of like a bar / aperitif kind of place. The staff is kind, they’re pet friendly.

Astoundingly breath taking! And the employees are top notch: extremely helpful and friendly! We've stayed at many hotels all around the world and this one has earned their reputation of being one of the greatest!!!

Amazing hotel with wonderful and friendly staff. Due to the high standard we were surprised when the room was not serviced until we called at 6pm on our second day. Also, the shampoo, conditioner and soap containers were all missing from the shower after a service on the third day.

That’s an amazing place. Every time I come I feel in a fairy tail. I don’t want to marry someone, but if it does happen it will be happening here 💯

The dreamiest location with all the attentions to details. Due to the last-minute reservation modification, we couldn’t get a lake view room but a garden view room offers no less comfort. The breakfast is full of various selections and service is prompt and attentive; the spa area is very nice and kids friendly; there is also a kids club which our boys enjoy going to very much thanks to its enthusiastic staff. The best place to stay for a memorable summer holiday in Lausanne.

Clean rooms in quiet area and suitable for families with near walk to the lake. Everything is ok except one of the young and inexperienced guys who served in the cafe terrace because of his rudeness and unrespectful behavior in dealing with us, the hotel guests.

Fantastic - expensive, but great hotel. Beautiful views. If you can get a lake facing room with a balcony, get it. Everything of the highest quality in the room. Small gym but amazing pool and spa that has to be visited. Highly recommended but stratospheric prices.

easily the worst experience i’ve had at any hotel of this caliber. incredibly rude and offensive experience including a serious altercation with a staff member named Casper. if you are staying here, prepare to be comically nickel and dimed

I haven't stayed there but I often go there to have a drink at the terasse. They have great desserts and drinks and they are great with the services. The view is tremendous. You may need reservations for certain hours though. The last dessert that I had had a almond cream base and it was light, lovely, just had the great amount of sugar...

Spent 2 nights here. Amazing hotel. Service level was off the charts. For a large hotel, staff created a high level of engagement. Rooms, food, spa incredible. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Lausanne.

This hotel is the best all round experience, comfort, service , food and atmosphere you will ever have. It has an amazing team of hospitality professionals who are dedicated to you and your experience. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, exceptionally clean, well maintained and just a pleasure to stay in. Beds and linen are exceptional. Every visit we come away relaxed, happy and organising our next visit! We never tire of the Beau Rivage Palace.

Despite difficulties of hiring service personal staff was again top level, friendly and professional. Location is unique, rooms have been beautifully renovated. Great pool and spa area and great 2 star restaurant. Obviously everything is expensive but quality is well aligned.

Classic place in a beautiful environment. What really pleased me was the friendly and down to earth service everywhere in the hotel. We took e-bikes to tour the wineries and got good tips.

Wanted to dine at the café, waiter just rushed by us, no greeting and just kinda muttered out the side of his mouth that the restaurant is closed....no attempt to accommodate one way or the other and keep the business. not expected from such an iconic palace....I'll take my business elsewhere from now on.

Top quality hotel where old world meets the new. The room was very clean, well decorated (new) and had all the modern amenities 5 star hotel can ask for. The room is very comfortable and has all the high tech gadgets. The views of the lake is divine. Service was outstanding and prompt as well as dedicated staff. Superb.

Best 5* hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Incredibly clean, the staff are polite, kind and helpful. Rooms are 5* quality with amazing touch for kids (bathrobes for kids with prints, chocolates, bath set etc…). Nothing was ever too much. Pool area was quiet with amazing views and breakfast was such a great quality. Maybe I would appreciate more variety and the service for omelettes was a bit slow, however everything else was perfect. Very expensive, but definitely worth it. We can’t wait to go back!

Best Hotel that I have ever stayed. The location, the decor and most importantly, the staff's attention to details and service. Hotel is super clean and they come and turn down your bed at night before you sleep. What a service! Also, please try their breakfast, the spread is splendid and the quality of food is superb

One of the best grande old ladies. Perfect in every detail well conditioned and one of the best hotel staff. Top Top Top. Would wish all hotels would offer such service and commitment. F&B also top with likely one of the best Beef Tartar on this globe, which by the way is also true for the chilled tomato soup. Great pastries and sorbets. Presented always in perfection. The hotel staff from the lounge, terrace and reception to the concierge and naturally the housekeeping just a dream and you would love to hire them away for home. The hotel choice in restaurants are fantastic, with the exception of the Japanese (where staff, service and quality are in contrast to the rest of the property. We enjoyed the rooms and suites and will be back soon. Thank you to all of the staff to make the stay so different.

This was the best hotel that i have experienced. The location was fabulous on Lake Geneva. We quickly realized that if we thought something was missing from the room that we just needed to look a little bit further. We did not have adapters for the J electric plugs but sure enough, they were in the desk drawer. The decor is classy but not in your face and is just plain inviting. The service was second to none. We needed some bubble wrap for some gifts and they gave it to us in record time. We used Lausanne as a jumping off point to visit Evian, Geneva, Annecy. After a lot of sightseeing, we came back to the infinity pool in the evening around seven. From the pool, you can see the mountains painted by the sun as it goes down. The lounges near the pool are so comfortable.

The hotel is as beautiful and wonderful as everyone described. However, our lake view room (*53) was one open flight of stairs up from a rather large little kids play room with a door that remained open. We asked to be moved to a quieter location and we were offered the identical room on the second floor. On a Sunday with many guests checking out, I find it difficult to believe that there wasn’t vacant room in a quieter location. Additionally, they did offer a fourth floor location next to the lift. I felt somewhat unwelcome and less valued than some of their guests. There are so many great features at this beautiful hotel, but I must say with the “reserved tables” at the outdoor cafe and this issue with the room assignment, I get a feeling that not all guests are treated equally.

Rooms are not quite spacious for the price paid. Balcony is very nice. Spa is good, despite the cold room in front of the hamam being pointless. On our second morning there, the bfast was very busy and the hostess kindly asked us to wait at the lobby (10.15AM) until the restaurant would have a free table. When we got a table at 10.30AM many items from the buffet we had the morning before were finished. When asked a chef who was refilling if there would be more brioche, koign amann and hummus he said no everything had already been consumed. Upon check out, when sharing this feed back the FO attendant said: "yes i'm not surprised there were more customers this morning than seating capacity allowed it to be".

We are a Spanish Kalifornia party band, we were entertaining a company event, the room with a stage was very well conditioned and the reception staff very attentive, and especially the manager Ines who attended us in a very professional, friendly way and in Spanish.

My favorite hotel in the area, doesn't disappoint. F&B service sometimes a bit chaotic, but they do make an effort to satisfy.

To this day one of my top 3 favorite hotels in the entire world. It is opulent and at the same time classy and private. The rooms are so ridiculously gorgeous and they open to the most beautiful view of the lake. Just being in the lobby and parts of the hotel is enough to transport you. I loved every single second of my time here. Just exquisite. A once in a lifetime stay.

The hotel's belle epoque architecture is amazing. Everything looks stunning, the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Front desk staff as well as the staff in cafe beau rivage, the bar and the lobby bar are amazing. Breakfast selection is good, the service at breakfast was disappointing. Staff is rushing around, sneaking up from behind to collect empty plates and cups, but nobody would ever ask if you need anything else. We had to ask five times to eventually get some water. I would still come again, and also recommend to anyone.

Room service wasn't great, not up to our expectations. Pizza wasn't cook properly and the dough was clearly not homemade. Besides this the hotel lives up to expectations. Will continue going there when i m in Lausanne though, staff is excellent and the rooms are nice.
