Un lieu magique, où on s'attend à voir les fées sortir de terre. Il y a deux grottes, un petite sur le bas, par laquelle l'eau peut sortir lors de crues, et une grande sur le haut, où l'eau sort plutôt une fois par siècle. On peut visiter 50-100m avec une frontale dans de grands espaces, de manière familiale. Le sol peut être glissant car les roches sont usées et il peut y avoir de la terre et de l'eau, même par temps sec. Ce n'est pas très grand, donc pas de risque de se perdre, même si le réseau est énorme (plus de 30km exploré): la partie conséquente (et dangereuse à cause des eaux) est fermée par une porte d'accès cadenassée. Une belle balade à faire: de la gare de Vallorbe, remonter l'Orbe, visiter les grottes touristiques, monter et visiter la grotte aux fées, puis montéer à juraparc voir les ours et bisons, puis poursuivre jusqu'à la vallée de Joux et rentrer en train. Ou poursuivre par le Mont d'Or et rentrer par l'ancienne ligne de train...

Very nice little place (don’t expect a huge place - it’s quite tiny) with a cave that you can explore. Make sure you have good shoes when you go and that u bring a powerful light with you (preferably a forehead light so your hands are free). It is best to not go during winter time cause there are bats and that’s when they sleep in there.

An adventurous complement to the Orbe caves, although there is not really a lot to see inside other than a couple of moths. The cave is pitch black at some point and the footing consists of some loose rocks so make sure to bring a torch and proper shoes.

It's great if your feeling adventurous and have the proper spelunking tools but not if your just passing by casually. I still gave 3 stars because the route to the cave is gorgeous. It's steep but with great views.

Excellent, bigger than expected and well worth a visit! Path going up to cave is quite steep but ok for young children if holding hands of parents!

An excellent grotte, well preserved and the facilities are of excellent standard. When close, follow the sign 'grottes' to get there. Good parking.
