Hotel
Victoria
was
not
as
advertised
-
I
am
unsure
how
they
are
allowed
to
be
classified
as
a
4-star
hotel.
There
was
no
complimentary
water,
no
coffee,
tea
or
kettle
in
the
room,
no
iron
or
ironing
board,
and
only
one
towel
and
one
hand
towel
for
a
2-night
stay.
The
room
I
stayed
in
looked
nothing
like
the
photos
on
the
hotel’s
website
-
evidently
the
hotel
has
remodeled
some
of
its
rooms
and
chosen
to
advertise
only
the
new
rooms
online.
In
my
room,
the
shower
door
was
missing
and
had
been
replaced
with
a
cheap
plastic
curtain,
guaranteeing
that
water
would
end
up
all
over
the
bathroom.
The
staff
present
on
check-in
was
not
friendly
at
all.
I
have
stayed
at
many
hotels
across
Switzerland
and
Europe,
and
the
staff
have
never
been
as
cold.
Obviously
this
is
not
a
requirement
for
a
hotel,
but
it
certainly
colours
the
rest
of
your
stay
when
you
are
not
welcomed
to
the
city
or
offered
any
information.
The
hotel
also
had
a
strange
policy
of
requiring
you
to
leave
your
key
at
the
concierge
desk
each
time
you
left
the
hotel
-
I
opted
not
to
follow
these
instructions
as
I
often
walked
by
the
concierge
desk
and
did
not
see
anyone
there.
I
also
found
it
odd
that
the
city
tax
was
charged
at
check-out
rather
than
check-in,
given
that
I
was
required
to
present
my
card
at
check-in
and
check-out.
All
in
all,
this
hotel
was
fine.
The
bed
linens
and
bathroom
were
clean,
but
the
room
was
dated
and
lacking
a
number
of
amenities
which
I
have
come
to
expect
for
a
4-star
hotel.
