Very tight parking spaces, way too basic breakfast for a 4 star hotel, no soap or shampoo or anything for hygiene in the room… a hotel like that should not go above 2 stars let alone get 4… highly not recommended

So the location is great (quiet) and the room and service was nice as well. I was traveling for business and had a small 1 person room but it was very comfortable. I agree with other reviews that the breakfast is pretty basic for a 4 star hotel, but for me it was fine. They had everything I wanted / needed and decent coffee. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review: the panoramic view at breakfast was non existent because the windows were INCREDIBLY dirty (see pics, 1 taken during breakfast on the first morning of my stay, and 1 two days later). There was a Sahara dust cloud 1-2 weeks ago which probably caused it, but that means that for 1-2 weeks nobody's been able to see through them and the hotel didn't even bother to clean them... Anyways, a minor letdown in what was otherwise a great hotel stay.

Very nice hotel in a great location near the train station. Breakfast was rather a simple offering, but breakfast room has great location on the top floor with views over there lake.

I recently found myself at this establishment, and my initial impressions were fairly positive. The room seemed to be well-kept and comfortable, fulfilling my expectations for a stay in a four-star hotel. However, my initial perception was considerably marred by the ensuing breakfast experience. Not only was the quality of the food and service less than desirable, but a critical component of basic dining hygiene was egregiously ignored - the cleanliness of the plates. Several stacks of plates bore visible traces of leftover food, an alarming revelation suggesting inadequate cleaning processes. An up-close inspection further revealed an oily and uneven surface, an indication of a poorly executed cleaning job. Despite the hopes of this being an isolated incident, each successive plate was just as unclean, if not worse, even at the other buffet section. I reported this issue to a member of the staff, who sifted through seven plates before finally finding one that was appropriately clean. Given the gravity of this hygiene issue, I find myself obliged to award this establishment a single star. Clean dishes are a fundamental requirement in any dining setting, and this is not a point where compromise is acceptable - particularly in a four-star hotel, where a breakfast costs 22 francs. For that price, one can easily enjoy a meal at any bakery in Lausanne, with the assurance of better quality food and clean plates. Therefore, I regret to say that this experience has eroded my trust in the establishment's cleaning capabilities and commitment to hygiene. My sincere hope is that the management will see this feedback as an impetus for change, taking immediate steps to enhance their hygiene and cleanliness practices. Trust, once lost, is difficult to regain - I hope the management understands the gravity of this situation and ensures a substantial improvement in every aspect of their service.

Not the worst but definitely not for long stays. The hotel's architecture is just bizarre and unusual. The building is constructed in such a way that nothing seems right. You expect Swiss to be efficient and practical. This hotel is completely the opposite. I can only describe the hotel as a disaster in terms of architecture and interior design. The layout was confusing and impractical. Electrical cord of the hairdryer easily falls into the sink. The glass door of the toilet is highly-visible from the top side. It is inexplicably visible from the main room, and there is no privacy whatsoever. It was extremely uncomfortable to use the bathroom with other people in the room. The walls were poorly constructed, and the noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms was constantly disturbing me. Especially in the mornings. The fitness center is another big letdown. It looks like it's just built to fulfill hotel *(star rating) requirements. 4-5 run mills and a broken weight machine. No dumbbells, nothing except those old running machines. Even the fitness room door is blocking the room #138 entrance. The hotel has many cliché items that represent Switzerland but lacks the essence of practicality and efficiency. The only thing that I liked in the hotel is the parking. They installed an elevator for the car to access below the ground. Location of the hotel is also a big plus. Do I recommend the hotel ? If you are a solo traveler and want to stay for one night then it's okay. If you are a couple or plan to stay longer, you can easily find a better option.

Located on a quiet street close to the train station. They have a nice underground garage, one has to use car lift to get in and out though. You have to turn around in the (relatively narrow) garage, so be prepared. The suuts a small, but cosy. There are sliding doors for bathroom and between entrance (featuring a sink!) and the room. The breakfast is ok'ayish, don't expect much warm food. The breakfast room is in the top floor with a glass roof, nice!

Cozy hotel, conveniently located within walking distance from the railway station. The restaurant is located at the top floor and has all glass walls/windows, which makes very bright and offering a superb panorama of the city.

Room untidy, see from the photo. It is not what a guest would want. The rubbish was not removed when we entered, one night stay for 250CHF for 31 Dec to new year. Not recommended. Note : Sauna is not big and it is shared for both gender. Not inside a private room. (Some instructions given outside the sauna, check before use) The front desk welcomed us nicely with train tickets free for guests and the dog. My price includes the dog stay. The parking - 26 CHF per night.

1 star only because the front office manager blame us for their mistake during the payment. They charged wrongly and I told them several time for that and they told me its fine. After 5 days FO manager called me for payment which is fine as I told from the beginning that is not charged well but its not fine to put blame on us and to be rude. For FO manager 1 star and for the rest of the team 5 star. She should also learn how to write proper letter for communicating with guests. Hotel is at good location and room are ok. Clean and quiet. Ms Melanie from reception was super friendly and helpful

At a very reasonable pricing this hotel is clean, quiet and is well located inside the city. For a short stay, this a perfect spot.

Fine, standard hotel. Whatever you do DO NOT stay in room 138, it is next to the fitness center and you can constantly hear the door opening, which is quite unpleasant when people start going at 7am opening.

Great location within walking distance to transit, friendly and helpful staff, rooms are fine if staying for one or two nights or alone or as a couple. The room was quaint with unmistakably Swiss decor, but it was not the most comfortable and the bathroom offers little privacy.

Good location, clean and spacious, but extremely poor WiFi (many rooms are located on lower floors..), and lack of basic amenities

Suisse hospitality out of the food- the personnels at the front and in the Terrace don’t like customers much, fruits served are rotten or showed wasn’t checked prior to many turnovers fir breakfasts, but room is Cody, no frills, no thrills. Worth staying but nothing beats a warm greeting any time if the day, which was not seen at all but looks of annoyance!!

terrible hotel with terrible service, meeting at the reception was not polite, I do not advise you to go there so as not to spoil the mood. our credit card failed for the room deposit and we were kicked out with all our belongings to the street, this is the first time I meet such a terrible service in Switzerland!

This hotel locates two streets from the center railway station and near a local resident area, which is quite quite. The Parking garage must be reached with a elevator. We get a non smoking room on 8th. The room is well decorated with Swiss elements and is well equipped with mini bar and desk etc. Our room was on the back side and very quiet. We are able to open the windows and have some fresh air. The breakfast was just normal and from my point of view a bit experience. But the hotel restaurant is on the top floor and has a excellent view to the lake and to the city. We will recommend to stay in this hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of the city close to the train station. The price for value ratio is very good, but dont expect something special. The room was small but comfortable. My main issue was, that the heating was hard to regulate and I had 2 times a short fuse when working, which needed fixing. Not according to my expectations. The staff was nice and helpful.

Agora Swiss not for families... 1) Hotel room lack privacy, washrooms have see through glass perforated sticker. 2) Management don't evaluate how much food to order in breakfast bread, cheese got finish by 8:15am. 3) No washrooms at Reception. 4) Mannersless staff... Cleaner don't even care whether guest are inside the room..they don't knok...just enter room using their access card.

Great location, few minutes walk from train starion and just minute walk from metro station. City travell pass is included so going around city is free. Toilets in rooms have no door locks and walls are made of see-through glass, so privacy is depend by your company. Also air conditioning was underwhelming, atleas with 30°c+ weathers.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night only but we really enjoyed it. The premises look modern and clean, and staff members were friendly and efficient. Wi-Fi was good and the location is brilliant, minutes walk from the main station. We encountered two minor hiccups though: 1) There seemed to be very few vegan options in their menus which put us off from taking breakfast there. Even the chocolate that they left on the pillows as a welcome gesture were with milk. 2) There was no remote control for the TV for some reason. I couldn’t be bothered to call the reception but why on earth would the remote be missing?! It’s not that they take it out from the room so they could’ve forgotten to put it back 😅. One last thing I wanted to add is that the chairs in the room were made of animal fur which is totally unnecessary and contrary to any sorts of animal welfare standards. This hotel deserves a 5 star rating but it would be good to see the above issues addressed at some point.

Fantastic hotel in Lausanne. Very close to Main train station, and also has a metro station next door. Very convenient to access, and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets around. The complimentary travel card was really helpful. Best thing was the breakfast room with an amazing views. Well furnished modern rooms.

Great location and right next to metro. Below average service/amenities. Breakfast was disappointing and very much overpriced. Imo it’s a hostel experience, and wonder how they received those 4 stars.

The rooms are small but with everything you need. They are modern and stylish. The bathroom is made of glass walls, so you can see the outside while you take a shower. It's an interesting place. Their breakfast is not so good (very basic food) but the view from the Cafeteria is awesome (lake and mountains)

One of the better hotels in the area. Fantastic location if you're coming in by train and close to restaurants and cafes. Very close to the lake as well and you also benefit from free travel in the area. Great staff and service and value-for-money is fantastic. Also worth noting for when it's getting a little warm out their air conditioning is fantastic not something you think about in the winter time but it can get very hot in this part of Switzerland in the summer and air conditioning definitely is rare and welcomed in the heat

This hotel was fun. The Swiss Alp theme was found throughout the hotel. A red Swiss cross is located on the exterior of the building, along with images of trees, moose, and wooden clocks. The hotel lobby has a nice seating area with complementary coffee, tea, and croissants. The overstuffed couches in black and red tartan plaid carries the theme. There is a curio cabinet displaying a collection of wooden cows, including small keychains for purchase. The elevator is wall papered with alpine trees to give the feeling you are in the alps. Room numbers are embedded in the carpet outside each room door in red to easily navigate to your hotel room. Open the door to your own personal "chalet." Complete with a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, a room safe, a desk, a spacious vanity, and a nice, hot shower enclosed in glass. In fact, the shower can be seen through the glass on the other side in the bedroom. Close the barn style door between the entry and the bedroom and walla! Watch your partner shower? Interesting. The top floor has a restaurant which is open for breakfast. The horizon of Luasanne can be seen up here. The glass dome ceiling has etched snowflakes. Guests can opt for the full breakfast or just coffee and a Danish. The hotel is located just below Old Town and several blocks above Ouchy Marina. We walked to both as the location was very convenient. There was a small festival happening two streets below with live music. The TV is not a Smart TV and can not be used to cast movies, messages or your computer screen. Selection of available stations was limited. The hotel has parking but when we checked in at 3:00pm, the person at the front desk informed us that it was full. If we wanted to use their parking, we could park at their other hotel in Old Town. So we drove the ten minute walk to the lot. I would stay here again. It is not spacious for entertaining guests or hanging out in the room, but for a space that is comfortable and to sleep in, it's perfect!

The place was very comfortable and cozy. Excellent location, and up to its standards. Would of course stay in this hotel when I come to lausanne.

See through glass in the bathroom, the carpet was stained in my room, cheap plastic glass and jug in the room, poor selection of breakfast items. No washroom on the ground floor where reception is. The whole place reeked of stingyness. On a positive note the hotel has a great location and the view to the lake is amazing in the breakfast room.

The structure of the room is a bit unique. The location is excellent. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing than my expectation. Would recommend this hotel and would have breakfast at another restaurant.

Rooms are cleaned very late, at 6 or 7 p.m. In addition, we got rooms near tto the basement. However, position is good, very near to the metro.
