Disappointing Stay - Falls Short of Expectations" We were very disappointed with our stay at Tanoa Waterfront. While advertised as a 4-star hotel, it felt more like a 2-star experience. Basic Amenities: Only one bed sheet was provided, which is unusual even in many 3-star hotels. Poor Hygiene: The bathroom had visible mold in the shower and around the soap dispenser, which was concerning. Lack of Utensils: The room was not adequately equipped with basic utensils. Soap Dispenser Issues: The soap dispenser in the shower was either not working or empty, forcing us to frequently exit the shower to use the dispenser in the vanity. This lack of attention to detail by the cleaning staff was disappointing. Suspicious Taxi Arrangements: We suspect collusion between taxi drivers and front desk staff. The hotel quoted us $25 for a short 10-minute taxi ride to the local hospital. We hailed a taxi outside the hotel and only paid $5. This felt like an attempt to overcharge tourists. Overall: This accommodation is more akin to a 2-star motel than a 4-star hotel. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and the apparent attempt to overcharge us for transportation.

Very fast and convenient check in system. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Though food options are limited, the quality is great. Have been staying here for work purposes since 2024.

The hotel is great however there is not much food choices in menu. Also for dine in room, please do not leave food on table. I had ordered Pizza and placed on table. After an hour I went to check on pizza however there was small Cockroachs inside the box. The hotel should improve on sanitation so that there are no pests inside rooms.

We stayed at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka, Fiji recently and were very impressed with the facilities and the rooms. The customer service was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lautoka. Loved it. 😍
