Recommend wearing closed shoes especially in rainy weather. Best day to visit is on Saturday mornings. This is when the farmers come with produce that you will not find on other weekdays. Payment method is cash and carry small change.

I know lautoka market is a cheap market and it's easier to get your transport that's why people are going there and it's busy everyday that's why we loving it
Busy / full on market (we did visit about midday Saturday though!) mostly fruit and vege stalls with a few souvenir stalls around the perimeter. Felt safe and friendly though - just very crowded!!
Fresh produce everyday and very spacious
fresh veg and seafood market
Nice, big and spacious..lovely fruits and vegetables.
Market is a vibrant spot filled with fresh produce and local goods. The variety of fruits and vegetables is impressive, and you can find some great deals if you’re willing to explore. The market gives you a real feel for the local culture, and it's nice to support the farmers and vendors directly. However, the market can get quite crowded and overwhelming at times. Some sections are a bit disorganized, making it hard to navigate, and parking can be a challenge. Despite these minor drawbacks, it’s a great place to visit if you're looking for fresh, local produce and a taste of Fijian life. This keeps the review balanced with both positives and areas for improvement.
A very large market selling vegetables, fruits and Kava roots. There is a separate section for fish.
I prefer this market over Nadi. Veges and fruits are lovely and we found some Lau island tapa cloths.
First, it's a pretty much typical Fijian roofed market. It has lots of vendors and a great amount of choices for both veggies and fruits at very reasonable prices, which are written on cupboards. It also has 1h of free Wi-Fi and public restrooms for usage. Finally, it's directly adjacent to the main bus station and several over shops and eateries.
The first Fijian market visited in Fiji. Usual market. Busy. Bought nothing as nothing was required.
