👍 It was pleasantly surprising to see the Gardens were so well kept !! The friendly staff, extremely clean and well maintained grounds and functional washrooms all together with the relaxed atmosphere of being surrounded by various varieties of trees and plants made it a memorable experience. However... People often mention family, beautiful, Great, experience, maintained, trees, visit, Gardens, plants, time,

It was pleasantly surprising to see the Gardens were so well kept !! The friendly staff, extremely clean and well maintained grounds and functional washrooms all together with the relaxed atmosphere of being surrounded by various varieties of trees and plants made it a memorable experience. However some care should be given to the various signs indicating the names of trees as there were some which were missing. Other than that it was an overall pleasant experience. Will definitely be back !!

Chill cool and relaxed. Was fortunate enough to spend the entire day with the family here. Place is very airy and inviting. A plethora of different plants from all around the world...beautifully landscaped and curated.

Lovely place to go and just enjoy nature. Small cemetery inside with politicians graves. Overall very pretty. Didn't go up the hill. Just walked around the path Lucky enough to see a hummingbird, parrot, red squirrel and eguana.

Awesome place to relax. The Royal Botanic Gardens in Trinidad and Tobagois located in Port of Spain. The Gardens, which were established in 1818, are situated just north of the Queen's Park Savannah. This is one of the oldest Botanic Gardens in the world. The landscaped site occupies 61.8 acres (25 hectares) and contains some 700 trees, of which some 13% are indigenous to Trinidad and Tobago, whilst others are collected from every continent of the world.

Omgggggg.... This is a 100% must visit... The ambience, the peace, the relaxation, the fresh air, the paradise experience is amazinggggg... The hill top trail is a must have once you visit this beautiful and amazing place. You can't go to our zoo without coming here after to relax and enjoy family time. The 1 best place in the west to experience outdoor activities with the family. You can spend the entire day with the family.

Lovely for walking, picnicking, take your family for walks or your pets. It's clean, serene and peaceful. It is excellent for walking your dogs, and playing with your kids also.

Beautiful place. Great way to spend a few hours in the sun walking or running. There are also signs on many of the trees and plants to learn about the local flora. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the small-plant gardens, which close at 12pm.

The gardens are well furnished and maintained, overall a really spectacular place. Amazing forestry. Just wish they had more huts or provided more spaces for families or groups of people to stay/ hold whatever events

Small recreational space on the outskirts of the city of Port of Spain; ideal for picnics, exercises, birthday parties & the taking of wedding photos.. Security guards are stationed at all entrances and exits. The ambiance is peaceful with lovely scenery. The national zoo is located next door.

It's always a lovely experience. Each time I visit there's always a new experience in the details, a different flower, notice a different tree or scent and even the local fauna that's housed by the surrounding ecological system at the Botanical gardens. It's always a tight squeeze for parking but it's doable. Persons use here for walking their dogs sometimes, just a heads up. Jugglers, family picnics, couples, just persons out to enjoy the natural scenery. Something for all.

Always a nice place to visit, but this place has a lot of potential. I personally believe it can be maintained better, especially the cemetery headstones, the text on the headstone are illegible and this is part of our history.

We decided to go walk in the Botanical Gardens instead of around the savannah for a change. We were disappointed that the gardens close at 6pm since we arrived at 5:45 As we entered, our inhaled the clean scent of plants and flowers. My friend commented that we were in a dog park as many had their furry friends in tow. Due to the time constraint we were unable to linger as we would have liked. However we were enchanted by the natural beauty all around for that brief visit.

It is quite spacious with a beautiful scenery. Perfect for family outings, girls' brunch, kid's parties, etc. Only four large huts are on site; some smaller ones would be nice for smaller groups of people. Also, the use of golf carts to get around would be a nice addition and a lucrative endeavor too!
