Best bar pie around Boston for sure. I have been coming here since I was a kid. I have had the same waitress for like 20 years. Once she dropped a pitcher of water on me and told me I'll dry off. She was right, I did dry off. Never stopped me from going back.

Perfect. Dark, unintentionally retro, pizza to die for. Just 1 menu item: perfect pizza. Full liquor license and a an intimate little bar with diner style stools. Our new favorite place.

It was good! I have to say, this time and about 6 months ago the pizza seems different, it's still good but not awesome like it used to be !! I get the garlic pizza and this time and last time I could barely taste the garlic, even the dough tasted different !!! Possibly could be me, last September I had covid, and sometimes I'm not sure if my taste buds have come all back yet 🤔, either way, I know I normally eat and taste the minced garlic they use, and I haven't tasted or even seen it on the pizza!!!!

Great place to grab a bite, a bit loud and the servers were very busy so they asked my order before I had a chance to see what they had, but it’s understandable… the place was packed! Overall good experience and great pizza.

Perfect pizza every time. Nothing too fancy, simple perfect pizza. All toppings were great, cheese was melted perfectly, and the crust was cooked to perfection. Full bar here as well. Can order online as well and they do take cards now.

I’ve been coming here for my entire life, sometimes twice a month, sometimes once a year. Every time, amazing Pizza. Crispy, thin crust, consistently delicious sauce and cheese, great fresh toppings. Some of the only pizza I would consider “perfect” every time I get it. 🏆

This place only does pizza and drinks. The riverview is good because it only does the things it's good at. Get the pizza. My personal rating is 9.3

Stumbled upon this on a road trip through New England, and it was one of our best dinners. Cash only, but the vibe is awesome, and the pizza is out of this world. Rustic, but in a great way. Recommend mushroom and garlic on your pie!

I found positive reviews online for the Riverview restaurant in Ipswich and decided to give it a try. They served thin crust bar pizza which was delicious. The waitress was cranky and very impatient with us. We will return.

Did a pick up right before close. They took my order and were very nice. I ordered 4 pizzas and we ate them with such enjoyment. My kids loved them and that should say something. I really appreciated the thin crispy crust and how flavorful it was! I think I found my new pizza joint! Thank you for the great experience and great pizza!

Hands down, best pizza in Massachusetts. We have take away here 3x a week. Date night here is also fun. So cute & nostalgic on the inside of the restaurant. Family friendly. Highly recommended ❤️

Nice place. Pizza is simple but delicious bar pie. Super crispy crust. Very inexpensive for a whole meal and good service.

It's like going back in time Thin crispy crust, great sauce, plenty of cheese.Great service, all staff friendly and helpful. Having kept the original knotty pine and doors, etc, brilliant and so comforting.While other restaurants over the years would have remodeled to modernize it..the joke's on them. For the past 20 years restaurants buy re- claimed wood and put up brand new vintage looking props but Riverview with all the wood having naturally aged with time and the red leather booths and all the nooks and crannies of seating areas and cool bar...it's all cozy and comfy. Oh, and buy the way the unbeatable prices !!! It's more than a wonderful place, it's an experience !!

We had just gotten into town after flying from the Pacific Northwest and couldn’t find anywhere open to eat. I found this little place and the reviews did NOT lie! The restaurant itself is cozy with a local feel, and we were greeted warmly by the staff. The pizza is DELICIOUS with chewy dough, a mix of cheeses and fresh pepperoni (my husband got chicken and it was fabulous too!). I misplaced my cash, and thankfully was told they take Apple Pay. They were so nice and understanding, and just overtly friendly. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you guys for the warm welcome on our first trip to the East Coast!

Cozy place down to earth workers. Really good thin crust pizza. Did mess up the order but took care of us to make it right. Will go back soon.

First time there. Heard about the rave and decided to visit and order a veggie pizza. Cute bar, with a restaurant and seating place, everything was made of wood. It was busy and I see why, best pizza ever.

The place is very simple and nice small town pizza place if you like thin pizza don't have to look no further and the prices are very reasonable a little hard to find parking because it's always crowded but you always get a table

As a very picky, pizza-loving customer in my opinion the pizza at Riverview Restaurant in Ipswich, MA is perfect tasting if you're looking for a homemade tasting pizza! Every time! All toppings are cut up, not too big and not too little. The cheese was melted perfectly, and the crust is even good enough to eat if you're not a crust eating person. LOL. This Restaurant is in an old building consisting of old school tables and booths. The dim lighting sets the fancy mood at first impression but nostalgic comes to mind first and foremost. When I first walked in the front entrance I was greeted by a couple of young kids folding boxes right at the entrance! Loved that! The restaurant is small but can fit a lot of people. All the space is cleverly utilized. I also noticed as I was waiting for my to-go order at the full service bar that this is a place for the locals to happily enjoy too. There is limited parking on-site in the back of the building that offers a back entrance. Online orders are taken and cash or card is accepted.

Cute little basic place.. Pizza is amazing I got mushroom cheese and did not disappoint.. They have one size pizza.. They call them personal size but I feel one is plenty for 2

Riverview is an Ipswich institution. Small, delicious thin crust pizzas cranked out in the 1000's from a place that stayed frozen in the 1970's. Christie says it's exclusive. Go.
