This place is incredible. We got a calzone and their cheese bread (photo of cheese bread) and it was plenty for the 2 of us. We will definitely be ordering from this spot regularly. The sausage inside of the calzone tastes homemade and is thin slices of a large meatball, perfectly bite sized for a little bit in every bite. The cheese bread is a calzone, stuffed with several different cheeses and is next-level delicious. Their dough is super yummy too. This place stands high above the typical pizza place.

BBQ chicken, Buffalo chicken, and Hawaiian were fantastic. Pizza came out piping hot and the crust was perfectly foldable with a great crunch. Love this place – support local.

Dave Portnoy has never been so wrong in his life! This place is excellent. Friends come in town-including those from Chicago-and ask us to pick up food from this place. I challenge you to fit a large pizza big anywhere else but your trunk.

Alright pizza lovers, listen up! I recently made a pit stop at Old School NY Pizza in Louisville, Kentucky, and let me tell you, this place knows how to rock the pizza game! Their pizza? Legendary. I'm talking about crust so crispy, it could rival the sound of a touchdown at a football game. The taste? Well, it's the kind that makes you close your eyes and momentarily transport yourself to the heart of New York City. Each bite was like taking a stroll through Little Italy, with flavors that danced a perfect tango on my taste buds. But let's talk about the undercarriage, because that's where the magic happens, my friends. The crust was cooked to absolute perfection, with just the right balance of chewiness and crispiness. It had that golden-brown color that could make even the sun jealous. And let's not forget about the char marks, those beautiful blackened spots that added a whole new level of flavor to the pizza party in my mouth. Not only does Old School NY Pizza crush it when it comes to taste and texture, but the whole experience feels like a slice of nostalgia. From the cozy atmosphere to the friendly staff, it's like stepping into a Brooklyn pizza joint minus the long flight and traffic. So whether you're a bona fide pizza aficionado or just someone who appreciates a damn good slice, make your way to Old School NY Pizza in Louisville. This place is a hidden gem that deserves to be shouted from the rooftops. Trust me, once you sink your teeth into one of their mouthwatering pizzas, you'll never want to go back to your ordinary, run-of-the-mill slices. Old School NY Pizza, you guys are crushing it!

The food is consistently great across both locations. I put it up there as some of my favorite pizza in town and I love the opportunity to get different slices as opposed to having to get a whole pie. However, I am here because of something that really stood out to me tonight at the Factory Lane location: customer service. The staff was so young, but so helpful; it didn’t take long to see that their customer service was a direct result of an involved, caring, helpful leader. He may have been the manager, or he may not have been. But the gentleman leading the crew tonight was so attentive to his staff- he was so patient, kind, detailed, and thorough with his teaching of the young staff. Pair great food, good prices, and an awesome leader and you are bound for success. Oh, and the Tuesday night deal of kids getting to make their own pizza - so awesome. Already looking forward to coming back.

All it would have taken was a casually dropped. F-bomb and I would have been right back at the pizza joint. I used to go to outside of hunt's point market. In The Bronx, Pizza was really good. Crust sauce and cheese were awesome. And the pizza was cooked in old school ovens. Excellent!!.. will be back

Hands down, best New York style pizza outside of New York that I had. It reminds me of NYC after taking a bite. I wish there’s one closer to me in Indy. This will be my go to pizza place from now on when I visit Louisville. The white sauce with tomato and spinach is a must! Stop reading now and order a pizza!

You've got to come check this spot out! Food is absolutely perfection! Service is nothing short of amazing and they added a bar if that's your thing. You can get a slice or two or order a whole pie. They have a great selection of pizzas and I love their garlic knots. Best Caesar's salad around.

I placed an order for a few pizzas for an office meeting, not knowing what to expect. I was very impressed! Pizza was excellent, order was ready for pickup when I arrived, staff was friendly. I tried one slice after the meeting and immediately placed another order to pick up to take home. Going to a restaurant twice in one day speaks volumes. Crust is thin, which we prefer. Good mix of crunchy and chewy, ample toppings, sauce well seasoned. Excellent tasting pizza, will definitely return again. Price was a little high, but appropriate. I don't mind paying a little more for good quality. Staff was really friendly and outgoing. Had a brief conversation with the guy making the pizzas, got a little info on the origin (Brooklyn), and he mentioned a second location in Norton Commons that may be more convenient for us. Factory Lane will be my first choice when we are in the vicinity.

I flew into Louisville and went straight to work. After not eating all day, I ordered a pizza and salad. Easy online ordering. As a travel nurse, I've had NY pizza and this pizza was similar. Salad was fine, however, I ordered the cheeseburger pizza which comes with Romano cheese. I have to say, I hate Romano cheese--too sharp for my taste. Unfortunately, although I ordered it without it, they forgot to omit it. I wanted to love the pizza especially since I was starving but I couldn't. I did eat a few pieces and could appreciate the crust, the texture and with the right toppings, I'm sure it's quite wonderful. Regardless of my experience, I will give it another try next time I'm in Louisville. Staff was great, parking was easy. Food was ready when I arrived. Oh, I also had a brownie--it was delicious.

I visited Kentucky this weekend to visit my family and I wanted pizza but nothing that we had back home in St. Louis. I chose this place over many and believe me when I tell you me, my brother and my granddaughters approved. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the all meat pizza was 🔥 as we say in St. Louis when something is good. My next visit to KY this is the place my family will have lunch. Happy to have had a good experience.
