China garden is one of the best places to go when you want Chinese food. I might sound weird for this but it's almost like home cooking LOL. But if you really want the best of the best I recommend them by far. I live in Lawton and I will go to Elgin often just to go to China garden. The customer service is excellent and I enjoy my experience every time I go.

This used to be an excellent restaurant but has declined over the past year. We used to visit it once a week. Now once a month at most, out of convenience is all we do business here

A solid option for chineese food. We have always got fresh cooked food and everyone in the house likes it.

So far best takeout I have gotten worth the drive away from lawton for better Chinese food.

Not sure what all the hype is about this place. I was really excited to try this place since it has such great reviews, but unfortunately for me it wasn't that good. It was pretty bland. It's definitely not the worst I've had but definitely not worth the drive from Lawton. Looks like I will have to keep trying more places until I find the one. On a positive note the food came out.

The food smelled delicious and was cooked to order but did not taste very good. Which was disappointing because it smelled amazing. I got the beef and broccoli, and it tasted off and very sweet. The people were friendly, and the menu options were extensive. Especially for a cooked to order place. I will give them another try and update accordingly.

This place is AMAZING. I haven’t had chicken chow mein how I like it in almost 20 years and I finally found a place that makes it just like I loved as a kid. We love everything here. Large portions that last for leftovers for a while.

Food is good but they no longer have tables for guests to sit and eat-even in January 2023. Went for a dinner date with my husband and we got there only to find out we’d have to eat in the car. No thanks. We drove on to Lawton to eat in a restaurant that likes to allow us to dine in.

Terrible wait time today. I put the 1st order in today, it took 25 min to service. The 3 orders that were put in behind me came up 5 min before mine. The only thing that brings me back is distance to another place to eat Chinese food is in lawton.

Average at best. This place used to be the best Chinese around. Now it seems to be following the trend. Expensive for the quality. Tip- place your order over the phone to avoid wait times

More like Garbage Garden. Dirty kitchen, unwashed walls, and the service is even worse. Chow mein with no noodles? This place is a harbor freight version of panda express. No bathrooms, 2 tables, just the exact type of restaurant that shouldn't exist. I can't even say its mid, that would be a compliment.

Decent food. Not always consistent with the quality but will do if you are looking for something quick and edible.

We tried this place out for first time this week and everything we got was wonderful. I have orange chicken and white rice along with egg drop soup. My husband had egg drop soup and then shrimp and chicken lo mein. Every bit of it was tasty and large portion sizes. We will definitely be back.

I just love this place better than the any Lawton Chinese restaurant. I love they’re hunan beef soo fresh. Service is good too

They are all business, no friendliness. And the food is fresh and got, but the consistency is sketch and the taste is meh. They benefit from no competition.

Ordered by phone , picked up promptly, chicken lo mein, dry, sticky, not great or worth doing twice.. chicken fried rice, yellow rice was a 4 out of 10…. Chicken on stick(teriyaki). 5 out of 10.. I’ll just save my money n goto Altus, yu yu n give them my money.. not being mean, ther was just no care in the preparation or cooking in what I received to eat.. the Labrador at home wouldn’t eat what I didn’t … trash can on 10-24-23

Staff has always been super sweet and the wait is hardly over 10 minutes. Love this place!

Ordered the Mongolian Beef. Specifically ordered no onions. What I got was well over 75% onions.

Good food. My only problem is the lack of pride and professionalism. When I call, and anyone but the girl picks up I just get a “hello?”. So the customer service and showing appreciation toward customers would go a long way. I’ve honestly thought about making a career by teaching Chinese restaurants customer service mannerisms. Besides the lack of professionalism, the food is good though. Maybe $1 overpriced but good. Like “thank you for calling China garden, how can I help you?” Or “I recommend trying our (insert dish)”. Smiling and being friendly would go a long way too. Waiting for your food is awkward because they don’t have any tables or chairs in the front for waiting customers. It’s just an awkward process waiting if 4 others are in there. Maybe I will see if I can make money teaching Chinese restaurants about customer service expectations. I see they finally corrected their closing time from 9 to 10. So atleast the owner cares. The young girl is usually pleasant as well. Also. If you read this, we as customers don’t want to see your beers you’re drinking while you’re cooking. Hide those around the corner or under a table.

Do not go here!!! All this place ever does is use nothing but onion as a filler in there dishes! Look at the photo of the dinner I just received it was supposed to be a Mongolian chicken and is nothing but a bowel of onions. Please save your money and don’t be cheated out of your money!!

Thr little girl at the front is very rude and thr food is not that good at all... (beef fried rice is delicious) but the girl makes you feel very uncomfortable

Ordered food to pick up ONE HOUR LATER, get there AFTER THE HOUR AND food wasn't ready, got charged extra for chili oil AND I didn't get it. I should have checked it before I left!

We are fans of the crab Rangoon, Singapore noodles, curry chicken and much more. Good Chinese. Good service

I love the General Tso's chicken. I don't go here very often because I am rarely in the area for lunch but man is it good! I highly recommend trying it.

This restaurant is where it’s AT! Fried dumplings and sauce are the best ever. Period. Egg rolls amazing, and everything else just delicious. Hands down one of the best Chinese food places I’ve ever eaten at! And the owners/staff are so friendly and kind! A real asset to our small community. China Garden, Elgin, OK 10/10 would recommend! EDIT: their gyoza (prob spelling it wrong) sauce is different now. The last few times I’ve gotten the dumplings, it’s been a spicier, less sweet sauce. I like the original better. But the food is still poppin’ 🥡

Garbage. How about when I order Mongolian beef I should get Mongolian beef not two whole slices of onions. IT MONGOLIAN BEEF It not just Mongolian beef it was everything we ordered waste 38$ 😁

Roasted pork Chow mai fun was amazing and the honey chicken so good im not a fan of the fried rice though

Meh. The meat in their dishes is scarse and they use a lot of frozen, cheap items. i.e. the dumplings are frozen pot stickers from a bag. The " chow mein" is wonton strips.
