Must visit place for food lovers, delicious servings, feed to full! The quatity of served food is good enough. Taste is beyond explanation. They serve true Afghan delicacies. The ambience is awesome. They have both table system as well as sitting platforms...a different experience.

Great place for non vegetarian food. It tastes authentic and budget friendly. You may need to wait for 15-20 mins to get a table. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Excellent flavor! I highly suggest giving Afghani cuisine a try. The service was a bit sluggish during weekday lunch hours. I've returned to this place multiple times for their delicious food! Potato Bolani with chutney was great, i am a fan of it now!

Last week We had the best experience of afghani cuisine. Ordered - 1. Mutton seekh kabab - 5/5 2. Kadhayi Chicken - 4/5 3. Chicken pizza - 6/5 Even though it gets housefull during meal times I really cherished my time here. One thing that they accept cash only and if you insist then UPI. I request the owner to please accept payments through other methods as well 🙏🏻 It'd really be appreciated.

One of the best places in India to try afghan food. The beauty of this place is that they not only serve authentic afghan food but also some central Asian dishes which are very rare in India. The taste of the food is awesome it's the beauty of the central Asian dishes that they cook with minimum spices and this place has done this flawlessly. Hope to visit again.

Officialy the best restaurant in Delhi for afgan food lovers. Less spicy too delicious. The Quabli pulavo kadayi gosh and chowpan kabab are the best combination.

If you are non vegetarian and love to explore different cuisines and tastes then you should try it also. Though they serve vegetarian meals too but i won't recommend you to go for veg. Food quality is good, specially lamb seekh kawab and lamb gorma. You will get afghani salad which just ok type. Raita too is not that good. Afghani naan and rice are just usual. Ambience is beautiful and peaceful. You will be listening to Afghani/arabic songs playing over there. Services are average which can be improved. And guys don't compare with Mughlai cuisines as they are too different. And if you love Mughlai then you may have to get disappointed. So guys keep in mind before going to Mazar restaurant that you are not going to consume Mughlai.

To experience authentic Arabian food do visit. I tried kabab, rice and chicken soup. Kabab was delicious. Chicken corn soup a different taste but I like. Those who prefer spicy monchow soup don't try you will not like. Lastly I tried one rice item. Taste not that par still different. One Important thing Mazaar not accept any Card only Cash. I wish they accept card.

Me and my extended family decided to travel to Lajpat nagar from Gurgaon for a meaty fiesta at Mazaar. Had heard a lot about this afghani restaurant from the youtube videos. Parking is a problem , we had to park 50 metres ahead on the street. The ambience of the restaurant is great and inviting. They have seating on chair and family seating on ground as well . The service is prompt. We ordered mutton and chicken seekhs, meat pulav , and various other curry items. All of these are were super tasty and were accompanied by their afghan bread. We really enjoyed our good and the whole experience at mazaar. Must visit.

This is a gem of a restaurant in Lajpat Nagar serving authentic Afghani Cuisine. We had Mutton Chopan kebab, Chicken Qorma and Qabuli Uzbeki. Mutton Chopan comes with Naan. It was perfectly grilled. They also served that along with that a complimentary egg plant dish and some beans which tasted delicious. The meat in Qabuli Uzbeki was amazingly tender. Overall food was excellent. It's value for money as well!

One of the Popular Afghan restros in Lajpat Nagar known for its quality non vegetarian food. We mainly went there to try out the different mutton based delicacies - a wide variety of preparations that we had heard about a lot. The place is quite spacious though it starts to get busy after 8pm onwards. However, it has sufficient tables & chairs as well as those high common tables where everyone can sit together (as you would have seen in restros serving Mandi). We had ordered - Mutton Seekh Keba - Afghani Naan - Qabuli Uzbeki - Qorma Kofta All the items were low spiced. They have a unique way of serving Seekh Kebabs with actual seekhs. Afghani Naan was actually heavy....believe me...1 naan and you will be more than half full.... Qabuli Uzbeki is a mutton based rice which was very light and tasty with all dry fruits. Qorma Kofta was tasty and filled with mutton minces. We were also served a full bottle of chhaanch that was very refreshing and tomato chutney which came as a surprise.... Overall it was a nice experience.....I won't say the tastes were amazing (like flavours don't burst in your mouth) but considering the fact they were low spice light dishes I liked them. Worth a try.

Many good things about the place. First thing when you enter is you notice well dressed smart attendants . Neat and clean and well presented smiling faces. Then the setting of the room is very pleasing , on one side there is floor sitting arrangement and on the other table chairs . The menu card is well designed and the attendants are very friendly and helpful. The best thing I liked is about their tradition of serving bread, rajmah and subzi free along with their Biryani.. which in self is very very tasty . And is for 230 rs !

The ambience is pretty good, has good music and interiors reflecting afghani elements. The food is also good but as the Afghani food tastes goes, it's quite bland. They prefer less spicy taste this is what I could figure. Ideal for family and friends type place.

One of the best places in the city to have Afghani/Persian cuisine. The service is super fast and the staffs are very warm and friendly. This was my first time and they patiently explained and suggested their signature dishes. It was totally worth it and very authentic. The portions are also quite large. And totally justified by the price they ask for. Only thing to note is do call and take reservation since its very busy . But even if you have to wait for a bit please do because its worth it.

Mazaar restaurant is located at lajpat nager Market in New Delhi. The sitting arrangement is so fantastic. It's a place of peace and hormony. Afghan recipes are available there, which is full of love 😍. Must go there at least once in life. Ten stars ✨.

This place is super awesome... From the outside it doesn't seem much but it's quite big inside. Let's talk about good things about the place 1. Awesome food, I have not had such amazing food in a long long time. It's less spicy and very flavourful. 2. The sitting arrangement is way too good and they can accommodate really large groups. 3. Ambience is a bit laid back and nice Must try sick kebab and phirni. What not so good... The service and it is not because they are rude or something. They are extremely polite and do not interact much with the customers. This may give a wrong perception but it seems to be a cultural thing.

Tried Afghani cuisine for the first. They have a bland taste but not bad. Sheer Yakh is their must try desert. They offer a complementary Afghani Roti with each items you order 😇, which is a very new thing to me. So order accordingly. Otherwise it will be too much food (we ended up with 3 items and 3 rotis between two 🙄) Good food, good environment and very good staff. Food rating: 4.5/5

Mazaar restaurant caters well to non-vegetarians, and it's worth noting that they tend to use less spicy spices in their dishes, often relying on marination for flavor. However, it's essential to keep in mind that it's almost always crowded, which can make your dining experience a bit uncomfortable. On the bright side, their seating arrangements are well-organized, and when it comes to pricing, it's quite reasonable compared to other restaurants.

Food is Good, Service is also Good, starters and grilled chicken is good in taste but in main course the taste is average of all gravies items. There is an issue on peak hours you have to wait outside the restaurant for a couple of minutes and there is no space to sit or stand.

I would give a 5 * to Atmosphere. You can feel a pure traditional afghani cuisine taste and environment. One must experience it.

I dined at Mazaar Restaurant and was delighted by their offerings, especially the mutton seekh kebab, mutton choppan kebab, and chicken grill. The flavors were exceptional, showcasing authentic Afghani and Irani flavors that truly stood out. Not only was the taste impressive, but the portion sizes were generous, ensuring a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. If you're seeking genuine Afghani-Irani flavors, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
