We recently spent a week in Rome, and Mimi e Coco was by far the best meal we had while visiting Italy. We were a party of 6 and sat outside in the sun, protected by parasols. The wait staff were fantastic. They let my kids practice their Italian with them, and were patient and fun to be around. The food was beautiful. Cooked to perfection, realistic portion sizes, all cooked fresh. If you're used to eating at a UK dinner time, you shouldn't have an issue getting a table, but maybe book a table if you're going after 18:00. Thanks Mimi e Coco!

What a place! Not only they open early, which saved us for an 11am lunch before heading to the airport, but the place is cute and nicely decorated, has a heated terrace, and food is quite good and not a tourist trap. Lasagna was good but spaghetti carbonara was great! Please order a cocktail, as they’ve plenty of options, and staff is great! We even forgot a bag and they kept it until we came back, so undoubtedly a great place! On top of that, they speak English, Italian, and Spanish, so communication is easy!

The best food we had whilst in Rome! We tried a few dishes coupled with a bottle of red! We had no wait getting a table, the atmosphere was fantastic, the service was incredible! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a really good chat with one of the waitresses, I think she was called Francesca from South Italy who then let us sign our names on the wall. We were in Rome celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary so this was a special memory! We've recommended the place to our friends travelling over!

If you stay just 48hrs in Roma and spend more than 10hrs just in this one place it's properly the best recommendation you can do. But let's go for the details. Perfect service, lovely food and a lot of fun. It was just the thing we searched for. No matter if it was the food, the aperols, or the cocktails the service does everything you enjoy your stay. Best food we have had in our last 3 days in Rome. We had to wait for atleast 1 hour in the queue but was so worth the wait! All dishes were spot on! Camilla one of the waitresses went out of her way to try to find garlic oil for us in the neighbouring restaurants. This is one of the restaurants we will definitely come back to. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hit this place before 6 if you don’t want to wait too long in line for a table! No reservations so expect you will have to wait. This place was tiny and felt authentic because of that. There was a great selection of alcohol at the bar and a ton of really fun cocktails. I got the garden of Eden cocktail and it was very fresh, but maybe a little sweet for my liking! Prices were standard to the other sit down restaurants around. We both enjoyed the ravioli and by regular standards this place exceeded the bar. But by Roman food standards, taking into consideration the wait in line, I feel like there may be better value for your food experience elsewhere. We dined at multiple places right near hear with no reservation and no wait to get in, with better food (maybe we just didn’t order the best thing on the menu). It’s a great spot, but didn’t meet high expectations, especially with the wait in line.

Our first night in Trastevere, we had seen the reviews and knew it looked good... we walked up as it had a shorter wait than usual and I think we were exceptionally lucky as we were given a seat for 2 instantly. The food (cacio e pepe and lasagna) were perfect. Peroni 0.4l is €8. It's a quirky little spot that would be lovely for drinks if you'd like. Special mention to our server Adrian who was friendly and quickly attentive throughout our meal.

What an amazing find in an area that has so many restaurants. Everything around revived a low score...especially must places in Piazza Navona Square. This place is a hidden gem less than a 5 minute walk from the piazza. The staff are vibrant and engaging. The food is absolutely amazing. We had the Salad Guiliana, spaghetti with tomato sauce and pasta carbonara. Best carbonara I've ever had! Even the spaghetti with tomato sauce was fantastic. The salad was fresh.... just a wonderful experience.

Fabrizio was the legend that was making our great espresso martini's which are certainly the best we had in Rome over the last few days. The cheese and meat board was great - high quality and flavoursome meat and cheese. I can honestly only say great things about this place - service and food were impeccable so do make a visit.

The food here is incredible! You can't book a table and for good reason as there is always a small queue but very much worth it! Staff are lovely! And the food fresh and seasoned to perfection. I tried a mushroom risotto (I'm not overly fond of mushrooms but really wanted a risotto) and now I'm a convert! Wine is reasonably priced for a bottle and lovely little atmosphere would definitely go back if ever in Rome.

This was one of our favorite meals during our trip to Italy. We got the carbonara and the eggplant parmigiana—the combination seems weird (or it did to my husband) but it was perfection. The melon and prosciutto appetizer was refreshing and delicious. My mouth is watering thinking about this meal still. Also our server was super friendly and managing all of her tables flawlessly. My partner and me sat outside and we were only there for drinks, so we made clear to Valentina that we only wanted drinks and no food at all (even if with our drinks a small snack was provided). The food was delicious. The atmosphere was very loud, not suitable for a quiet dinner. The service was good, I really feel for the waiters running all over the place with so many tables to serve. Pasta was 5/5 Buratta was 5/5 Focaccia was 1/5 Tiramisu was 5/5 A very big minus for me is that there is no reservations system, that results in queuing for at least half an hour before being served. The tiramisu is to die for. I eat it in several places, but for me this one is the BEST. The people working there were always smiling, even if they had many guests. We came here due to the amazing reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Fabrizio was our waiter and we asked him to guide us on what to order. He suggested the lasagna ai funghi di Carla and pinsa bologna. Both of the dishes were just incredibly delicious. Some of the best food we have ever had. The service is a bit slow but it just makes the experience more enjoyable and slower so you can be more present. Definitely would come back and recommend to anyone and everyone.

While waiting for a table the waiter provided guests with some hot pizza! Great service. Before ending our meal, the server gave us a free shot of lemoncello each. Incredible food and impeccable service. We got in line around 8 pm and it felt like it went by quickly, especially with the free Prosecco and focaccia they bring to those in line. We found this gem our first night in Rome and are so glad we did. The carbonara was the best I’ve had in my entire life and possibly the best pasta I’ve ever had. All 3 of us enjoyed our dishes so much, that we had to go back again our last night! Make sure to try the focaccia as well, it was excellent. The staff was so nice and spoke great English, which made ordering easy for us. They treated us to a shot of limoncello our first night and a different aperitif our second night. There is about a 30-40 minute wait, but do yourself a favour and preserver because it was worth ever second of the wait time. While we were in line we were offered free focaccia to thank us for being patient, Camilla had such a vibrant and friendly personality! The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, the service we received from Francesca really topped off our experience, she was friendly, and attentive, whatever she is earning she deserves a RAISE. Grear food, great atmosphere. We were there around 4PM and we haven't had troubles to find some place to sit. We took traditional Saltimbocca Alla Romana Con Pure and Bucatini Alla Amatriciana. We weren't dissapointed, flavor of those to was good. Meat souce was really intense and with mashed potatoes tasted amazing. Escalopes were soft. Pasta Amatriciana was also really good, bacon was crispy and well seasoned. Size of both dishes was fair enough to satisfy both of us. Prices are average but its worth to visit this place to eat there. I recommend wine Rose Pettorosa Puglia and Chardonnay both were good. We will visit this place again once we will in Rome next time, Ciao!

This restaurant is located on a lovely, vibrant street. We got to know this restaurant from eating at other places nearby. The terrace and the inside are amazingly cosy. Sometimes maybe a bit too cosy during covid times. The terrace has small tables with a see-through division board in between. Unfortunately you are still sitting very close to the people beside you, which didn't make me feel very comfortable. The waiters were very polite and helpful during our visit. We ordered some pasta and meatballs, which were both truly delicious! Enjoy your meal with a good bottle of wine.

Valentina was a friendly server who helped us from start to finish. We were lucky enough to get a table when we did too, within minutes of sitting down a line of 15+ people formed.
