The main distinction from one francesinha to another is the sauce. Having done a vast tour of francesinha dishes in the Matosinhos area, this was probably the best, certainly the richest and most flavoursome sauce of all. Prices are more than reasonable, probably even low, considering the quality of food and ingredients. The presentation of the food was also impressive, given this is supposed to be a normal sandwich bar. Service was incredibly friendly and efficient. The location has parking immediately outside, with a couple of steps up to the entrance. Decor is clean, recently decorated with some interesting art features.

Francesinha is an absolute delight. Every bite is a savory explosion of flavors, and the generous portions ensure you leave with a satisfied smile plus the service is very charming and friendly. We also had some soup it’s good for the soul. Just love this place it’s a must visit ❤️

Wir haben diesen fantastischen Ort mit der Hilfe von Google Maps gefunden und es war eine sehr gute Entscheidung hier zu essen :) Die Köchin war super nett und man hat sich total wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war frisch gekocht! Eine große Portion für wenig Geld. Danke und liebe Grüße aus Deutschland!
